I actually learned this from my hairdresser- if you're going out in high humidity situations (hello, Florida!), spray your face with aerosol hairspray. Strange, but true- it works like that Model in a Bottle stuff but at half the price. Keeps the makeup in place fairly well and- bonus! Your brows stay in place /without/ the expensive gel.
My Routine:
Get glam? Oh man, at least an hour if we're including clothes. I will change my outfit at least three times, and change my makeup to match. I'm not so much for doing the hour-long makeup routine daily, though. Just my face wash, medi-matte, concealer, and mascara- then I'm out the door. Half an hour tops. But if I'm getting really dolled up? I need at least an hour, usually more.
My Horror Story:
That has to be the time I convinced myself I wanted a perm when my hair was only chin-length. I had a fro for months!
My Celebrity Look-a-like:
None really. A young Angela Lansberry, once- and Drew Barrymore, once. Also, according to Miss Gigi of the Drugstore Deal-ification: "Scarlett O'Hara, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Delta Burke when she was thin."
Hello, heaven! I have combination skin and fair skin, so both burning and shininess are an issue for me. This stuff keeps my shine at bay all day, plus the SPF 20 is more than most traditional lotions. I love it so much- I started using this product about three months ago and I think I've only gone two or three days without it since (when I ran out, of course)!
I love this mascara so much. I have issues with raccoon eyes, and this mascara- once it's on, it doesn't budge. I use it daily, even when I wear no other makeup.
Or at least I'd look like I started drinking at noon. Even though I have really large eyes, I get dark circles from- who'da thunk it- not sleeping much, as I'm in college. This stuff keeps my eyes from looking totally dead, even after an all-nighter.
