About Me:

I work a boring 40 hour a week job for a major health insurance company. One perk: I work from home! In my spare time, my big hobby is selling beauty products on Ebay (http://stores.ebay.com/rubysbeauty). I have a pretty massive collection of beauty products, my biggest weakness is any hair product that promises to give me glossy shiny smooth hair. I have been married almost 2 years to my amazing husband, we met on match.com and married about 7 months later. :) My husband is also in the Army National Guard and I love him to pieces!

My Beauty Secret:

If I'm out and about and notice my hair starting to get a little frizzy or not laying very nicely, I just rub a little hand lotion on my palms and run my hands over my hair. Works like a charm, any brand, doesn't matter!

My Routine:

I'm a fairly low-maintenance gal, so I don't have a huge beauty routine. If i'm going out, I make sure to wash my face and exfoliate also. Moisturize, mineral foundation, blush, eyeshadow, mascara and lipgloss. That's about it!

My Horror Story:

I used to have a mullet pretty much. My mom used to cut my hair and thought I looked "so cute" with my curly hair, so she cut it shorter all around my face (not just bangs, but ALL the way down to my ears!). Sadly, I had no sense of fashion back then so I never even noticed until my friends saw some old pics and pointed that out to me. *so embarassed*

I think I recall one or two people (a few years ago) saying Brooke Shields.

I can't live without this product...

Moroccanoil

I finally bought my own bottle of this stuff a few days ago, and I am kicking myself for not buying it sooner! A few months ago when I got a haircut, the stylist used this in my hair and I loved it, but did not like the expensive price so I didn't buy it right away. This stuff is so worth the money, I could pretty much throw away all my other styling products. It makes my hair feel SO much softer than anything else ever has. My hair is naturally curly, and hard to straighten, but when I straighten my hair with this, it looks glossy and naturally straight!

Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliation

I LOVE this stuff! I've tried a bunch of different exfoliators and microdermabraison kits, and this one is definately the best one. Smells really good too, and I just can't stop touching my newly smooth forehead after using this!
