About Me:

I love trying new beauty products. I am very conscious about my skin, moisturizers,cleansers,pore refiners and everything in-between. I have super curly hair and its about wais length, shampoo's and conditioners are always next in line. I've just started using Mixed chicks shampoo and conditioner and I love it! My Beauty Secret:

my best beauty tip is drink tons of water, no smoking and keep alcohol consuption to a minimum.
I read about Monistat "Chafing Relief Powder Gel" on Megs, Its wonderful! It covers those tiny lines around my eyes and then when I apply my make-up I swear I look 10 yrs younger!!
My next biggest beauty secret is....Megs Make-up !! Everyday I read something wonderful...it might be a beauty tip, it might be a product for wrinkles or a skin care secret met to be shared with everyone...I tell all my friends about this site and I check in several times a day just to make sure i don't miss anything. I have read so much about Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, I bought some from Sephora and OMG I love this stuff! At the end of the work day, 5 pm, my eyeshadow looks as good as it did at 8 am!

My Routine:

I've started using false eyelashes...wow, I love them! I can't believe that I've never thought of using them in the past. I wear them every day then in the evening I remove thm and use a little eyemake-up remover to clean them up. I re-use the same pair for 2-3 days. My foundation us usually Bare Minerals some days I use vincent Longo creme to powder or calvin klein creme to powder, and I have a plethora of eye-shawdows, my favorite is an eye-shadow palet from Sephoria. It also has lip colors too. Cleansing and moisturizing is Sonja Dakar products, I like Oil Of Olay cleanser and moisturizers too. To get ready for the Glam train I need about and hour and a half that includes time-outs for sipping a glass of wine and day dreaming, for the everyday look I need about 30 min. I am always day dreaming. My ahir care rotuine is pretty easy...I only was about every other day or every third day because my hair is very long and very curly. I am always looking for a good shampoo and conditioner that won't break the bank, but if it works and makes me happy I'll gladly pay the extra $$ for a good return on my money. I am somw what of a lipstick hoarder...I love lipsticks, my fav color and it looks best on me are the plums and browns and I always use lip liner. Poppy King is my go to brand for the last 2 yrs.

My Horror Story:

My most mortifying make-up monent was when I was about 14 yrs. old and I begged my mother to let me get my hair chemicaly straightened, she finally relented and it looked TERRIABLE ! I thought I would just die! but in the 70's straight hair was "in", As I got older I learned how to style my hair what products worked best. Now its all good.

My Celebrity Look-a-like:

Hummm...never had anyone tell me I looked like any celeb. when I look at my drivers license photo I can see my mom! She's not a celeb in the Hollywood-way...but she is our family celeb...a true star! WTG Mom xoxo

I can't live without this product...

Murad Skin Care Products and Oil of Olay

I have been using several different facial cleanser,toner,moisturizers over the past year, my most recent that I've been using and really really like is by Murad, Meg sent me this moisturizer and facial serum when I cashed in my beauty points! Thanks again Meg!! If Meg had not sent me these 2 products I am probly never would have tried them. I use Oil of Olay dual action cleanser and pore scrub, it gets the grime of the day off my face and its gentle too. Then I give my face a good dose of Murad. The moisturizer is rich and thick and I love that in a moisturizer. I am happy to say that when I look in the mirror I am pleased with the image looking back at me!

Don't forget to Prime, Urban Decay & Smash box

For the past 6 months I've been using a facial primer by Smash box and its a complection corrector too, I love it! I can't imagine "not" using it.I use the Bare Essentials make-up line. I love the mineral veil, its so light!

Lipstick addict...thats me!

Yes....yes its true, I am crazy about lipsticks. I have so many I sometimes feel foolish, LOLMy favorite is Poppy King, I really like the "Saint" line. There is "Saint" and "Sinners"Its smooth, last almost all day (depends on what I've been eating) the colors are rich and they're matte that's what I like the most. My second fav lipsick is Urban Decay (thanks meg) and the Urban Decay lipliner (thanks again meg). The Urban Decay lipstick last a very long time, I apply in the am right before I leave for work and I don't need a touch up until after the noon hour! I use the urban decay lipstick with the urban decay lip liner. I love the lip liner because it keeps my lipsticks from running into those fine lines around my lips!
