My Beauty Secret:

Drinking several cups of Rooibos or Honyebush tea per day. They are from S. Africa and reputed to be even better than green tea.

My Routine:

wash & shampoo & moisturize using my latest find in natural ingredient stuff from independent artists on the web.Silk underwear (Lush) also concealer, stilla waterproof mascara, cheap blush, looking for eyeshadow colors to suite me, also thinking about using lipliner for a change, I think I need it, inspired by the meg's makeup ladies to take more care with daily makeup. A Detroit best-dressed rich chick recently said in Hour magazine she overdresses during day and under at night. The first part sounds good.

My Horror Story:

A certain maternal person close to me cuts her own hair, never wears makeup, Not even anti aging cream!!! and buys clothes at yard sales.

My Celebrity Look-a-like:

When I was in sixth grade a boy on the school bus said I looked like Ruth Buzzy. I didn't know who that was. Then when I was 30 I got a perm and my brother in law said I looked like Carla on Cheers. OMG Now I'm told I look like what's - her - name on 30 Rock , the one that looks like Sarah Palin. I have cooler glasses than either one of them though.

Discovered CM Naturals at Megsmakup

CM Naturals recieved a review on Seaweed Acne Soap several months ago remember the round acne soap? Reading CM's lovely website I discovered Rare Rose Alba face cream. The scent and consistency is so delicate and unsual, it is the ultimate in luxury. .

Mario Badescu makes one product worth buying in addition to their acne stuff

New from Mario Badescu is the Vitamin C serum. I have used skinceuticals C & E ferulic, its OK but $120. Also used triple C from Puritans Pride vitamin online store, it's sticky but full of aloe and cheap, no noticeable benefit. Mario Badescu C serum is really different. Makes pores shrink, skin smooth and glow immediately after the first use.

Prescription Tazorac

The girls at the local Dermatologist claim this is all you need to correct and prevent wrinkles and sun damage. I've used the cream and gel Tasorac for years. I'm 48 and have no wrinkles. Brown sun spots are invisible now. This stuff is tricky though. It make skin renew itself constantly, slowly gets rid of acne, but will irritate skin if applied to heavily. Not on me, though, skin will get used to it if you keep it up.
