Ever since I was a pre-teen, I've been very curious about makeup. I would research, you know type in "makeup" in google, and try to figure out where I should start. It really seemed like you couldn't wear makeup if you didn't have a good foundation. Once I figured that out, I would make forays into the makeup aisle of walmart, and I would buy whatever foundation seemed closest to my skin tone. I would try it out at home, and it was always wrong. It was always too dark or too light. One day, I thought I figured it out. I thought I had found the right shade for me, went to school proudly, until a friend told me that I looked way too pale and that it was obvious that I was wearing makeup.
