Meg does Minnesota!

Jeanasina here with my review of having Meg stay at my house!  OMG people!  A one woman force of nature entered the small domain of Jean and Harleyman's world and showed us a glimpse into a world through her fabulous personal stories that is SO beyond Minnesota! I felt like we have had a movie-star in our house and my Harleyman was asking Meg to sign his autograph book every 30 minutes until I had to put a stop to it.
 
Meg arrived deep into the night on Saturday and my Harleyman and I helped her with 4 bags of what had to be solid lead into our car.  The very idea that this whisp of a girl managed 4 back-busting bags of luggage on her own up to this point blows one's mind!  I was so excited when I saw Meg coming down the escalator in her cute black hat, designer winter coat and Ugg boots I think I was literally jumping up and down yelling "It's MEG everybody! It's MEG!!!!  I'm pretty sure I did a hand stand at that point too!  We drove her shivering body to our little home and began what was to be four days of escapades, shopping, movie going, eating, wine and Saki drinking, and lots & lots of dialog! Meg also introduced me to the world of sushi which I learned I LOVE! Meg can recite the names of various sushi dishes the way I can talk about laundry detergent!

We put Meg right to bed that first night after talking until 1:00 in the morning - please note I normally am sleeping at 9:30-10:00 but this was MEG in my living room so my eyes were as wide as fried eggs as Meg regaled us with tales about her time at Fashion Week and beyond!

As I write this review to you, before me is a multi-sided glass jar whose contents cause me to make noises that just might resemble someone in the throws of ecstasy! I am in love ladies! IN LOVE! Yes, I have a Harley man Husband who rocks my world but... there is now a new contender for my feelings and it's my jar of Farmhouse Fresh WHOOPIE Cream Shea Butter for Body!

Oh I know, you are probably saying, “Eh... what's the big deal... it's probably just old lady talk from Jeanasina who found an old Whoopie Cushion and sat on it and got all excited..." Well my lovelies, it's far better than THAT! There is a company called Farmhouse Fresh and they make these absolutely delightful products and in particular, the WHOOPIE cream I have before me. The box it came in says “A jarful of Joy” (NO LIE THERE!!) It goes on to say... “This supple shea butter cream nourishes dry skin and drenches your body in irresistible yum! Delight in the aroma of moist layer cake and white velvet cream.” Oh honey, DELIGHT is definitely the word of the day with this product! From the very first moment I opened the jar and that fragrance of moist layer cake and cream came floating out to surround my nostrils, I practically snapped my neck back in total supplication because the fragrance is just THAT good! “Oh baby, come to mama!” “Slather me NOW!” I know not all of you are into food smells but if you are, you are going to want this cream!

Hi everybody! Did most of you watch the 2010 Grammy Awards on Sunday? Holy Smokin' Freakin' Hot Performances! I'm still randomly coping with bacteria-faces-R-US illness junk but that didn't stop me from totally cranking up my sound system and gyrating on my couch as I watched the fantastic performances on my large screen TV Sunday night! Before we begin, go strap on your sleek exoskeleton-like gowns (like the one Beyonce wore while she sang “If I were a boy” and get ready for another Body Beautiful Wednesday review by your nasally challenged friend, Jeanasina!

So... one of my absolute favorite visuals was when PINK performed “Glitter in the Air”. If you didn't see it – you'll want to go find a way to watch it for yourselves! It was amazing! She came out in a white tight robe much like Princess Leia would have worn and as she sang the robe came off to reveal Pink in a nearly nude bodysuit! WOW!!! factor right there, but then, she is lifted from the stage, hanging from silk scarves way up toward the ceiling, totally must have spent time recently with the performers of circque du soleil! There she is, several feet in the air, pretty much upside down, when suddenly she is soaked with water that spills out from her body. All this is going on while she is simultaneously spinning at warp speed in the air, still singing! It was unbelievable, memorable and definitely UNDONE before at the Grammys! What I thought almost the entire time to myself while watching this was that Pink is so SLEEK! If someone describes a person as 'sleek' to you, the connotations you get are that the person is trim, finely contoured, streamlined or smooth. PINK was all that and more!

Meg and Eleni sent me a new product called SLEEKskin skintreat renew. The minute I saw the words “SLEEK and skin” hooked together I wanted to try whatever was in the container! Before I even researched the product I read the front label which informed me that this was a “triple action serum with combination of peptides and proteins to restore collagen”! Would the collagen gods really be inside this vial ready to restore what age promoting demons have sucked out?

When I saw that I immediately phoned the Montecito Casino in Las Vegas to see if they could store my new SLEEKskin skin cream in one of their vaults! I think this is definitely one of the more expensive skin creams that has ever set foot inside my home! The 'renew' skintreat that I received is $98.95! Whoa baby!

Ladies and Gentlemen – it's the ONE, the ONLY... freak of nature on a stick...Jeanasina here with my last Wednesday Body Beautiful review for 2009! So go and grab your party hats, red lipstick, celebratory good mood enhancer of choice (this can mean ice cream) and your noise makers! Put your arms around each other and if you are alone go stand in front of your mirror so you have somebody to celebrate this moment with! I want all of you to pump up your individual volume and sway back and forth with me as I recap some memorable products for you!

It seems only fitting that first we revamp the traditional 'auld lang syne' song a bit to get you in the mood. Let me hear you singin' with me – use the NEW words....ready? Hit it! “Should dated skincare products be forgot and never brought to mind? Should crusty eyeliner pens be tossed away and never touch those eyes of mine!"  Did you sing? Oh well, it's a not a perfect fit but you get the idea. Did anyone follow me? You guys just keep singin' your own made up version of the rest of the song while I talk.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas – Jeanasina here with your Body Beautiful Wednesday forecast! I predict there are going to be a lot of women who will want to receive MOR Marshmallow Lip Balm in their stockings this year! This line is new to me, so I did some keen investigative work while strutting around in my Lady Santa outfit. Visualize this ladies...white, fur trim on a red A-line sleeveless dress (white fur at the neckline and all around the hem, thigh high black leather boots with a red rhinestone band at the top, red rhinestone poinsettia earrings and an old fashioned white muff with my hands tucked inside to stay warm. I'm also wearing a red beret with white fur around the edges. There is mistletoe strategically placed on a constantly jiggly wire that is attached to my fur edged hat. The ONLY thing I need to top off my holiday festive attire is lip balm in a cute container I can tuck into my hand muff.

You know where this is leading right? That's right ladies...straight to a review about MOR Marshmallow Lip Balm! Here's some facts. The MOR marshmallow lip balm comes in a very French looking tin which is gold, pink and black with their impressive emblem on the lid along with some delicate pink flowers. The tin is VERY feminine! I don't think Mr. Santa Claus will be carrying this tin around in HIS toy sack because it definitely says “WOMAN OWNS THIS ITEM” by the look of it! Once it's empty I can see putting little treasures in it, you absolutely won't throw it out - ever! I'm building suspense here so that you are on the edge of your snowboards in anticipation of how nice the product inside is!
