OCEAN ACTIVES TOPICAL DEEP WATER SQUALANE!

Jeanasina here! Hello information seeking people who look to Megsmakeup.com for actual facts and not vapid fluff when it comes to wanting reviews of products we want to try and add to our arsenal of beauty favorites! Today is Body Beautiful Wednesday!I thought it was time to give a full blown review to my favorite product which I mention on my personal profile page. Ocean Actives Topical Deep Water Squalane!

The one item I absolutely would need to take with me at all costs would be my Ocean Actives Topical Deep Water Squalane skin moisturizer! I discovered Dr. Lark's skin care products many years ago when I got a sample in the mail of this deep water squalane product. I kept it in a drawer for a long time and then one day I thought "What the heck?" I put the generous little sample on my face before I went to bed. I loved the soft lavender scent (you can get this scented or without a scent). The texture is like putting a raindrop on your skin and you just massage it in and it immediately absorbs. The next morning I dragged my tired buttocks to the bathroom to splash water on my still sleeping face when I looked into the mirror and my eyes immediately did the cartoon bug out because my face looked GOOD! Really good! I was impressed and I wanted more of product and to learn more about Dr. Lark the name behind Ocean Actives skin care. Plus my face felt incredibly soft!

Dr. Susan Lark is sort of like the dominatrix of skincare and health combined! She knows her stuff! She has written books for and about women and she has fabulous skincare products up the kazoo! Dr. Lark has devoted her career to raising awareness of women's health issues, such as PMS, obesity, hormone replacement therapy, and osteoporosis. She pioneered the use of women's self-care treatments based on diet, nutrition, exercise, and stress management, and has penned 12 books on women's health and healing.

This is still my staple and I put it on every morning and every night along with the rest of my skin care regimine. I also use the evening and day complimentary products made by this same skin care line. My skin really looks pretty darn great for being a woman my age. I just added a photograph of me taken just this week so if you are curious you can see pretty close up how my skin looks. And you can read the caption that says I just got ENGAGED beneath my recent photograph! That's right ladies...call Ripley's...one crazy ass 60 year old woman got proposed to by her magnificent 53 year old Harley Man on Christmas morning! How happy am I right now? That's right all you romantics out there...my Harley man got down on one knee, brought out a ring in a box and proposed to me and you can bet your entire skincare collection that I said `YES!'.

That was just a little personal side note...are you happy for me or what? I have always advocated that laughter keeps you young and that's my best beauty secret but next in line...again allow me to mention the Squalane from Dr. Susan Lark that I use. To continue...I will quote Dr Lark's words...

"Squalane (pronounced squa-LON) when you apply it topically, you give your skin back what it needs to regenerate and look naturally younger and healthier. Squalane is also an antioxidant, so it gives you extra protection against skin-damaging free radicals. And you'll feel its soothing effects instantly because it truly lubricates skin, rather than "sitting on top" like some moisturizers with synthetic materials. Helps skin cells regenerate

The reason Squalane is so different is because it's the same ingredient found in sebum, a natural compound in your skin that helps your skin cells regenerate. It's what keeps your skin soft, moist, and young.

The quality of the Squalane you use is critical. In fact, Ocean Actives undertook a long, painstaking search until they found the perfect source - three species of sharks found in the deep waters of the Mediterranean. These sharks are fished for their meat under strict EU regulations and have been a staple food in areas around the Mediterranean for thousands of years. The Squalane in Ocean Actives Squalane is extracted from the livers of these sharks - so there is absolutely no waste.Ocean Actives Squalane really works-without a lot of expensive, unnecessary ingredients. It's completely NATURAL. It SMOOTHES aging skin, and helps reduce the appearance of lines and WRINKLES.

I'll leave you with this...I completely recommend this product and have found any other products I currently use from the Dr. Lark website are wonderful! If you want to buy Topical Deep Water Squalane just go to the website or just check the website out - it has a wealth of great information just waiting to be devoured by you! Their customer service rocks too! Always friendly and helpful!

Currently Dr. Lark is reformulating her squalane skin care line. The new line will contain squalane sourced from olives rather than sharks. I am testing a sample of this new product now and hope to write a review about that in coming weeks - hopefully I will be able to compare the two! If you want to start your day with the words "Who wants to touch my fabulous face today?", try Squalane - I think you'll be happy you did!

Have any of you ladies tried squalane products? Buy Ocean Actives Here!

Wow!!!! Congratulations!!! That is so exciting, and how romantic on Christmas day! I bet you will remember this Christmas for ever. I hope you post wedding pictures. Your skin is absolutely stunning. I'm 20 and I don't think mine even looks that good. I was ready to go and buy this until I read the shark liver part... vegetarian... can't convince myself of that no matter how well it works but I will definately want to try the olive version. Again, congrats!!

You deserve it.I'd be interested in trying the olive derivitive of this product. I know thereis no waste with the other as stated but I still don't think I could feel goodabout it personally. OK Jeanasina...not that I would ever intrude on your special day but I just gotthe funniest vision of 27 of us Megs gals standing alongside you when you take your vows all wearing the worst bridesmaids dress we were ever forced intoala' "27 dresses". I've been meaning to break out the large floppy hat, operalength gloves and brocade floral dress again. YIKES! HAHAHAHAA...too funny! It would make an interesting picture for sure!

Love, hugs and shoes...Angie

First things first--congratulations! Wow, is your fiancee a lucky man! You are so incredibly beautiful, Jeanasina. I concur with the other wise women here that this was powerfully written. Shark oil, as you are well aware, is the active ingredient in, um, a well-known product generally not used on the face, and it works immediately. Will this help my dreaded "turkey neck?" I return to school in a few weeks and will be back on a water and running regimen. Love you! The Megettes will be bridesmaids, right?

I've tried squalane supplements before, maybe I should try applying it topically.
