Just consider me a sponge! I grew up without anyone around me who really cared about makeup, let alone knew how to use it! I pretty much work on a strictly trial-and-error basis. I love picking up makeup tips and tricks so if you have any please let me know! I love love love love love makeup. You wouldn't know it by looking in my makeup bag, because I'm a student and still have the budget of one, but someday I will have a vanity FULL of makeup. I love anything different. Currently, I would actually love to find a great perfume. I keep looking, but I have yet to find anything that isn't incredibly overwhelming or cheap-smelling. OH! I forgot. I have never found a blush that really looks good on me. I am hispanic and my skin tone varies during the year from light medium to dark medium, but still every blush I have tried makes me look like a clown or doesn't show up! Hellp! That's about all I can think of right now. If you have any suggestions let me know!
I have tried for so long to find a great eyeliner that I can actually afford!! Someday I will be able to get all the expensive makeup but alas, today is not the day:) For now, I have recently found this covergirl eyeliner that I am in love with. I really don't like pencil eyeliners, I have never found one that doesn't smudge after a few hours but liquid liners were really hard for me to maneuver. This eyeliner is the perfect blend! It's liquid liner BUT it is actually a little pen (like the mini-sharpies) and its SO EASY to use! It stays on all day and doesn't smudge!! I definitely recommend it :)
I. LOVE. EYESHADOWS. My skin is medium/dark depending on the time of year and some eyeshadows simply don't show up :(. I also like a little glitter/shimmer, but not the obnoxious kind that looks like teenager makeup. These eyeshadow sets are perfect. If you apply them dry, they are decent, but put them on wet and WOW. It's a huge difference! And it pretty much stays put. Love the colors and the effect. All my makeup skills are self-taught (so I don't have many) and these eyeshadows make the job much easier!
*Sigh* I haven't used this product since high school (back when my parents still paid for things) but it was the best mascara ever. Hands down. I just went to the Estee Lauder site and I didn't see them selling it anymore, I hope it can be found somewhere because it is the best curling mascara!! I never had to use an eyelash curler with this and it separated my lashes as well. When I am a real grown up someday, I will go back to this miracle product.......someday.
