prestige pencil eyeliner

natalie wood - again - here from the movie she was making when she, unfortunately, 'drowned.' (don't get me started - i'll never stop believing good ole r.j. had a bit more than nothing to do w/ it. 'nough said.') i can see that, at my current age - only - i do look just like her. i'm a tad thinner and less jowl-y. this is how i looked, especially the hair, right before my perm was burned off. (please see 'my most mortifying....') eyeliner i take to desert islands at all times. now if i'd only had it on catalina island....eyeliner review/s:imNho, you can't beat prestige brand's plain 'kohl' type pencils. my mainstay is color 'sage'- a khaki green. i can also wear their's/ other brands in burgundy/ plum, all shades of green, drabbed-down turquoises, and taupe-y, not-too-dark browns - in that order. hey, they're cheap, found at most chain drugstores, and last....forever.the cat-eye look is all the rage now. at my age, i've revisited that look many times. i can accomplish this look FAR better using the above prestige pencils, than i can with ANY of the too many ultra-expensive. chi-chi liquids i've bought. just fyi, i'm a trained artist, so if anyone has a steady hand, and can draw a line - slim to wide, inside or out, both, or all - it's me.if you insist on a liquid, the best i've found are - believe it or not - cover girl's new LineExact eyeliners. they're correct that their compact (short) barrel makes them an a++++. the drawback is that, although there are many, there is not one good color for me. question for others: how do you feel about the bright & metallic eye & eyeliner look? i can't stand it! ha.
