About Me:

I am recent college graduate and like many...in dire need of a full-time job. BUT for now...I am enjoying makeup. I must say that it is very addicting. I just recently got into makeup...I guess you can say that I am a late bloomer. My senior year in high school was when I first started wearing eyeliner. And now I'm fully in love with it. I cannot go a day without wearing mascara, lipstick, foundation, eyeshadow, you name it!

My Beauty Secret:

Moisturize skin as often as possible. No one wants cracked, scaley, dry skin. Also, no one wants cracked chapped lips. Moisturize with lip balm. I use Carmex's lip balm in strawberry or cherry :)

My Routine:

+ It take a minimum of 45 minutes

+ Moisturize face with Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

+ Dry hair and style hair

+ Everyday Minerals foundation and blush

+ Maybelline's Great Lash mascara

+ MAC lipstick in Half N Half/Russian Red/Girl About Town

....and voila!

My Horror Story:

Sophomore year of high school...first day of school...I discovered foundation and I didn't really know what color goes well with my complexion so I just bought some random L'oreal foundation and I didn't know what looks good or not because I have no idea what makeup does anyway. So, I put on my face and now looking back on it...my foundation was too dark and orangey! yeah not sexy at all. Here I am thinking I feel like an adult putting on makeup when in fact I looked like a clown :) After that day, I didn't wear any foundation, not until Sophomore year of college!

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

I have been using Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream ever since I was 10 years old. I had problems with dry skin so my dermatologist recommended this product. I have been using it ever since. Can't live without it. Other products just don't do the job. Cetaphil does not have a scent. It does leave a glossy/shiny face but it's worth it. It's not only used for the face but anywhere....dry feet, dry hands, dry legs, etc. This is a must on my daily facial routine.

Everyday Minerals Makeup

Everyday Minerals Makeup is my favorite makeup line. I never was a foundation fan until I started using it. It gives great coverage and does not irritate my skin. A must-have in their line is the flat top foundation brush. It is so soft and gives great coverage. Don't forget their blushes. They have a great selection and they are all to die for! It is way better than BareMinerals in my opinion. Also, if you want to try out their products, they provide free samples so you can get the right foundation match for your skin complexion...just pay for the shipping.

MAC Lipstick in Girl About Town

This is by far my favorite fuscia/hot pink lipstick shade. You can't go wrong with MAC Cosmetics. It is so creamy and glides one smoothly. This leaves a shiny gloss to it but not too much. Don't forget to wear a lip liner as a base! As my first hot pink lipstick, this is pretty awesome.
