Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick
I have cystic acne and also sometimes get surface acne, and I've tried many things, including Proactive. Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick is a bit expensive, but so far it has worked well for controlling my acne and preventing new breakouts! I love the fact that it utilizes natural ingredients to do so!

I used this once when I got lambasted my a seriously ugly deep acne underneath my chin. It did help me get through the week until I got home and got ahold of some Retin A. (I consider Retin A my number one big gun for acne.)
What is RetinA? I've tried almost everything but I refuse to go on Accutane!
I love Retin A!!
Here is one of the best links I could find:http://www.yourplasticsurgeryguide.com/anti-aging/retin-a.htm
Retin-A is the one thing that keeps my skin clear and line free! It's the most amazing product ever, I would use it even if my prescription plan didn't cover it, but since it does, I pay next to nothing for it, and a tube lasts forever.
I didn't know Burt's Bees has a product like this. I suffer from the same thing and I don't know how to keep those cystic bumps at bay. I'll definitely be on the lookout for this one!
Nina, I definitely reccomend you do try this. It works so awesome! Usually for me when I buy something it will work for awhile and then stop, but this keeps going strong. Thanks to everyone else for the information on RetinA, I'll definitely talk to my doctor about it! Thanks!
Do you find this dries your skin out at all? I'm a huge fan of Burt's Bees but I'm a little concerned that it'll turn my poor face into a desert.
Nope, it hasn't dried my face out at all. It has oils in it which I think helps with that. It is a little strong and when you first apply it, even if you apply it on your lower cheeks, it can sting the eyes, but the smell that lingers is beautiful and refreshing! Good luck and let me know how you like it if you decide to try it!
This is ok, but i wish it didnt have alcohol in it, i find it too harsh and drying.. otherwise there are some really good ingredients in it.
makeup makeup makeup!!!!!!!
I don't mind the alcohol, but then again my skin is VERY oily so a little bit of drying out will not hurt me! I saw another blemish stick like this but a different brant at Sephora, under the Naturals category. You might want to check that out Dandy!
Acne is mainly caused due to overproduction of sebum in sebaceous glands of the body. Diet containing much oil must be avoided to prevent from acne. Balanced nutritious diet should be taken.Acne treatment
