I'm a very joyful, passionate person who is also sensitive and creative. My friends tell me one of my greatest gifts is that of kindness. I love reading and writing, especially historical fiction. My dream is to one day become an author and be able to research and write all the time! I also love baking and cooking. My Beauty Secret: 

Hmm... my beauty secret... well, I'm still trying to find out what works for me so you'll have to wait and see!

My Routine: 

In the morning I wash my face with Fresh Farmacy soap from Lush. Then I moisturize with Jojoba Oil from Now Foods. After that I put on Everyday Minerals makeup and I'm good to go!

My Horror Story: 

Ugh, this one time my fiance and I were getting ready to go to a lounge with some of his friends. He had really bad lighting in his apartment's bathroom and I was trying to use blush to contour my face. I put some blush on my nose but it didn't show up so I tried to put even MORE on. Later when we got to the lounge I went to the bathroom and noticed that my nose looked SO red. It was so embarrassing! I didn't have any makeup on me to try and cover it up so I tried to wash it off but my nose still ended up looking really red all night!

Everyday Minerals Weekend Getaway Blush

Weekend Getaway is the first blush I tried from Everyday Minerals and I love it. It's very subtle and sweet and always looks natural, and works very well with my skin tone. Plus I love knowing that there's nothing bad in the formula that will cause breakouts or irritate my skin.

Everyday Minerals Pearl Smokey Pink Eyeshadow

I just LOVE Everyday Minerals Smokey Pink eyeshadow in their pearl eyeshadow category. This is a really gorgeous understated shade of pink and works well with any combination of colours. I have a few eyeshadows by EDM but this by far is my favourite.

Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick

I have cystic acne and also sometimes get surface acne, and I've tried many things, including Proactive. Burt's Bees Herbal Blemish Stick is a bit expensive, but so far it has worked well for controlling my acne and preventing new breakouts! I love the fact that it utilizes natural ingredients to do so!
