Bare Minerals
When I turned 16 my mom decided that I needed to get a more grown up make-up for a more grown up girl... haha! What she didn't know was that I would fall in love and end up spending most of my days at the mall in the bare mineral store... hehe Bare minerals has completely transformed my face! when I put it on I could see no blemishes or uneven skin. I bought the starter kit at first because it came with all the brushes, bronzers, mineral veil and the powder. A year later, I still have the same bronzer, brushes and mineral veil. The powder is a different story, but in one year I am extremely proud to say that I have only gone through one container of powder and working on my second as we speak. I love love love love love this product!

I watch those commercials on t.v telling you about how perfect the product is and I think it is really good. My neighbor has it and she let me try some of it before and really I think it's a great product!

I like Bare Minerals. I like that you can create the right shade that you need and that you can control the coverage. This looks so natural on too, which is a definite plus for me. The only thing I don't like about this product is that sometimes, but not always, it does cause breakouts on me, which is sort of a bummer, but pretty typical for me with most foundations.
Used this makeup for years but am too poor to afford it now! Perfect coverage!
Bare Minerals makes really good products. I used them for years. And NEVER caused any breakouts! Recently, though, I felt like the foundation was just not doing my aged face as much good as previously. I think it was starting to look dry on my face. Therefore, I've been experimenting with Smashbox Halo, Dior's Totale Capture (both very pricey alternatives) and Aeromist. I like them all, actually. Fortunately, my daughters gladly took my Bare Minerals leftovers off my hands - looks great on them!

I tried this when i first started wearing minerals, i couldnt stand the itching!!! But yes it did look really nice. So i researched a little and found out it was the Bismuth and found another brand that doesnt have it in there. I love my new brand... everydayminerals.com

like dandy and simplesweets, this product made my face itchy! It didn't really cover that well for me either, no matter how much I "layered" (and even if it did eventually cover my acne scars, I'm not willing to "layer" on any product for 15 minutes!). Physicians Formula Talc Free Mineral Wear loose powder has the same amount of coverage, is bismuth free, and doesn't make my face itch. It's also cheaper, and comes with more product. So I prefer to use that :)

BE worked alright for me, but the color was never quite right and it was so expensive! They didn't have enough shade choices as far as undertones, which is where EDM really gets it right, so many options! And you really can't beat the price, comparable to drugstore with high quality natural ingredients.
My mom bought something like this thinking it was the original bare minerals! and truth is it is terrible. it doesn't cover up anything for me, and the eyeshadows are all just glitter. But maybe the real deal is different?
agree with ref26-- not enough undertone choices. i could never get a match and i always looked cakey. edm is wonderful to me, in comparison.

I've use my bare minerals starter kit nearly everyday for two years and I'm just NOW running out! I love it because of how natural looking it is.
