GHD Straightening Iron

This iron is amazing! I got the purple gift set, and it's beautiful as well as functional. It heats up in seconds, faster than it takes me to section my hair after turning it on. It straightens so fast, and leaves my hair sleek and shiny. For me, it hasn't been damaging at all. It's also great that it puts itself to sleep after 30 minutes of not being used, because I can be a bit absentminded at times. I've tried a few other irons, including CHI and HerStyler, and this is by far the best. Worth the price tag!

I guess I'm gonna purchase a high-end one in near future, but for the start I just bought myself a Conair "ceramic edition" today. It looks just like the Chi and I'm gonna try it out tomorrow. Of course the Chi is thousand times more expensive...but just to know how my ends flat-ironed will look like and if I would like it at all, I bought this one (it was on sale, lol) for about 15 $. Probably not the best for your hair...but with heat protection spray, I guess it's ok for now.

i love ghds! mine just broke (they are seven years old though and have taken a bit of a battering over the years-including my puppy chewing the wire! :-( ) i am getting some new ones for christmas, cant wait they are in my opinion the best straighteners on the market (and i have tried a few-so have my friends! we all agree ghds are unbeatable!)

When my current iron breaks down I am definately splurging and getting a GHD!!I have used a friend and had my hairdresser use it on me a couple of times and they really are the best straighteners out there!!

Wow that feature sounds great. I always forget to turn off my straightener, and it always smells like I set my house on fire when I realize it. I like the cortless brand and chi straightners.
