Clarisonic and Squalane Oil
I held off on buying a Clarisonic for a long time. I'm one of those people that the sales people at department stores fight over when they see me coming! Yep, not exactly a tough sell! But, I've been trying to be more discriminating and the Clarisonic is a pricey item. But, it's the best item I've purchased in a long time. I've always hated the blackheads on my nose. I'm sure that I'm the only one who notices them, especially when I pull out a magnifying mirror! The Clarisonic really cleans those pores and I noticed a vast improvement the first week I used it. It's also great because it feels like I've had a mini facial each time I use it. The one added cost is that you need to replace the brush heads every few months. I also use either a makeup removal pad or I wash my face by hand first to remove the bulk of my makeup. It seems like a good way to help keep the brush cleaner longer.Squalane oil is the best inexpensive beauty product I've found. I heard about it on the QVC Beauty Forums a few years ago. I also heard about Body Moose there as well. Olive based Squalane oil is a wonderful basic serum for your skin and it's also a nice basic moisturizer which helps your other products to do their job. $9.99 for an ounce of squalane oil is a great deal and I heard about Body Moose dot com on the Q boards as well. They have superb customer service and they offer lots of other fun products too. I'm also a big fan of their Gator Hydrator, so...check it out. You'll also find lots of additional information about squalane oil on their site.I use it everyday. I wash my face, tone and follow up with a few drops of squalane in the morning and at night. I've stayed with it for almost 3 years now and no matter what other serums or moisturzers I may use, I'll keep it as part of my daily regime.
