Avon Supershock Mascara
I have been on the search for a good mascara for years. I dance, so have worn mascara for productions and performances since I was a little tot.However, most of them flaked and gave me panda eyes. I have tried MAC, Dior, YSL and all of the cheaper brands like Covergirl, Maybelline etc.No matter if they were waterproof or not -- they'd still flake.Avon Supershock does not! It gives incredible volume AND length which I think is because of the brush. It is not waterproof, but it stays on until I take it off. It is so fantastic - I cannot live without it now!

I totally agree with all of that, and also want to add that I like the consistency--not too thick and not too thin! I really love the little spiky brush too--I don't usually get too much clumping with it! My only complaint is that I wish the formula had more shine and more pigmentation.

I just ordered some after reading about it here, I can't wait until it comes. I forget who had mentioned it in a post on mascara, but I put it on my list and then added it to my lengthy avon order. Right now, I am rotating 3 different mascaras, cargo, smashbox and I can't even remember the other one, none of them are that exciting, although they all do the job.
I haven't had a chance to try Avon's mascaras. Thanks for your recommendation!
Have you tried the Astonishing Lengths mascara? It's amazing. I played tennis the other day and it did not smear. Eylashes looked great AND that night my cleanser and water washed it right off!!!
No I haven't, Michelle. I live in Australia and we don't get as many products down here! :(Maybe it will be out later in the year.
I think most Avon mascaras are pretty bad, but this is a huge exception!
I just got my huge avon order, and one of my co-workers and I both ordered the Supershock, and we are going to both try it and compare notes. Her lashes are super-long but white blonde, mine are just average. But I just opened a new tube of Clinique, which is okay, nothing great, so I'm excited to see how it works for me. Because I have tried other Avon mascara's, and they haven't done much for me.
I am a huge fan of this too! just have to add that if you jab yourself in the eye with the brush (which i do around once a week) it hurts like hell!!!! much worse than normal brushes in the eye, but i dont care this mascara is tops i have it in black and violet and i am going to order turquoise and plum next! bug thumbs up!
My cousin bought this mascara and she told me it was the best so i tried it and I love it more than my mark mascaras this will become a staple in my everyday makeup . This is the perfect mascara. : )
my mom has this.. definatly willing to steal some and see how it works ;D
I've just started using this, and I really like how it defines my lashes and lengthens while still looking quite natural. My only complaint so far is that it doesnt hold a curl - though my lashes have never held a curl, no matter how many mascaras or lash curlers I've tried.
