I'm 21, studying to become an English & Drama teacher.
Started to really get into makeup when I discovered Everday Minerals two years ago. Before then I knew nothing!!
I'm currently VERY jealous at all the products avaliable in America, that we can't get in Australia (Hello, UDPP!!). Waiting impatiently for their arrival.

Remember to sunscreen the backs of your hands!!
My Routine:
Generally I only need 5-10 minutes to do my everyday face. 10-20 min for some more complicated eyeshadow applications and some blush.
Avon Magix Primer
EM's Abbotts Concealer with a bit more Pearl Sunlight added in (as I'm very pasty!)
EM's Mint Concealer
EM's Fairly Light Neutal Foundation (Intensive and Original Glo 2:1 mix).
EM's Sunlight Finishing Dust
Spritz with Lush's Eau Roma Water toner
TSS Eye Primer then usually EM's Hot Chocolate
Couple of coats of Avon Supershock Mascara
Done!
Occasionally if I feel like it, I add some blush too.
My Celebrity Look-a-like:
Apparently Kristen Bell. Occasionally Reese Witherspoon.
I don't see them, but am incredibly flattered by the associations!!
I have been on the search for a good mascara for years. I dance, so have worn mascara for productions and performances since I was a little tot. However, most of them flaked and gave me panda eyes. I have tried MAC, Dior, YSL and all of the cheaper brands like Covergirl, Maybelline etc.No matter if they were waterproof or not -- they'd still flake.Avon Supershock does not! It gives incredible volume AND length which I think is because of the brush. It is not waterproof, but it stays on until I take it off. It is so fantastic - I cannot live without it now!
I have a red face. Very red. Not sure if I have rosacea, but its that red. For years I was buying the wrong foundation thinking I was a cool because my face is so pink! Not my body or neck - just my face. EM's Mint Concealer has been a lifesaver. It reduces any red or ruddyness on my face. It then reveals the true nature of my skintone, allowing me to finally have a foundation that actually matches!!I personally find it really hard to go overboard with the concealer. I can't do without it :) I even wear it and then just some bronzer for a 'no-makeup' look, which looks fabulous!I bought a large jar 1.5 years ago and I still have a quarter left. Great value!
I have really thin oily hair. I usually wash my hair everyday with a Lush Shampoo bar designed for oily hair, which works fantastically. However, there are just some days where we are in a rush, or can't be bothered waiting till the hair dries (and I am not a fan of blow drying my already fine hair).Batiste Dry Shampoo is my answer -- I have used many other brands and they don't work as well. Other brands (Klorane) last me two or three sprays. Batiste lasts me at least 15. I usually just spray my roots area (which gets the dirtiest). I can't say I am overly fond of the scents, but for what it does and its value ($8 AUD), you can't beat it!
