My Beauty Secret: 

Always, always wear fragrance. My favorites are Chanel No. 5, Fracas by Robert Piguet, White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor, Jil Sander No. 4, and Christian auJuard (not sure about that spelling.) I also love Votivo's Red Currant body mist.

My Routine: 

It takes me less than an hour, shower to out-the-door. If I wore much more than lipstick and mascara, my friends would think I was getting glam. I'm in that "over-50 men are bums" phase of my life.

My Horror Story: 

I wear lipgloss ALWAYS. I took my young sons shopping at the largest mall here during the holidays and walked from one end of the mall to the other. As we rode the escalator I looked at the mirrored wall and wondered, "What is THAT???" I had grabbed a lipstick instead of a gloss and it was smeared all around my mouth. Neither of my sons had said a word, and I had remarked to them that people were certainly friendly; everyone seemed to be smiling. It was horrible!!! Now, years later, it is hilarious.

Probably Shelley Winters--and yes, I do realize she's dead. It still fits.

Chanel No. 5 Sensual Elixir

I love fragrances but Chanel No. 5 is a standard. This is an awesome way to wear it. No matter how casually I'm dressed, wearing this fragrance makes me feel on top of the world.
