I'm a French young woman (really?!) living in Brussels for a few years, studying politics (freshman). I'm in love with movies (classics, French and European and foreign cinema), music (soul, R'n'B, scores and soundtracks, jazz, old French pop), books, TV shows (BBC period drama, Showtime, HBO shows, MAD MEN) and a newly makeup geek (since October-December 2008)!!!! In my profile pic, I'm on the red steps of the Palace at Cannes (where they premiere the glamourous stars and movies every May of each year at the Cannes Film Festival) where I spent 2 holidays years ago. Excuse me for not seeing me closer, but I didn't have better pics! I'm definitely trying to improve myself, my grades, my makeup skills, EVERYTHING!
I love pigmented eyeshadows, gel liners, glamourous vintage lipsticks in deep reds and corally colors (hey, I'm NC44), body moisturizers, organic products.
Brands I'd love to try someday : NARS, MUFE, MAC shadows, Chanel, Lancome,Julie Hewett, Lily Lolo, TARTE

My Beauty Secret:
a good body scrub : glowing and clean skin
coconut oil : a great multi-purpose product to embellish, moisturize body, hair
Jason E Natural oil : smells so good, and really nourishes!
but mainly, embrace your body and features in subtle ways and always take intelligent risks with your personality, looks, mentality, thoughts. Don't be scared by colors, shapes, try out, and see experiment your different beauties!Sounds cheesy, but it works!
Also, cultivate yourselves, enjoy spending time to see a movie, go to a museum, concerts and surprise yourself at enjoying things that are foreign, exotic in your life, read, anything (Who knew I'd grow so fond of Swedish, Italian, German, Indian and old cinema?) Wit and culture are two qualities that every girls should cherish and have!
My Routine:
I use makeup probably 4 times a week and I'm not particularly high maintenance! Between 20min-1hour!
But every morning, wash my face with a face cleanser, then apply tea tree oil followed by Jason E Natural Oil, then add LUSH's Tea Tree Toner. I don't have a moisturizer for my acne-prone oily skin (yes I know, BAD!) but I'd like to try LUSH's moisturizer for oily/acne skins soon) but LUSH toner helps me block oil so well!
Then:
-EM foundation
-MAC concealer
-MAC Prep and Prime Finishing Powder
-EM blush (Apple, Snooze Bar, or all Smiles)
-UDDP
-eye liner or unique shadow
-MOR Marshmallow Lip Balm (gift from Meg and replaces my awful EM English Muffin Lip Blam) or Black Up lipgloss in 8 (a sheer purple)
Around 30 minutes if I do my makeup well!
I have yet to change that regime, as I constantly change products!
02/01/2010 50-point-package:
-MOR Marshmallow Lip Balm (smells sweet, very moisturizing and love the vintage packaging! I was dying for a new Lip Balm after being horribly disappointed by EM's lip products!)

-a nice little world from Meg!!
Thank you so much Meg! I also helped my mom subscribe to Megsmakeup so she can receive gifts too once in a while!

-diana B sugar scrub samples
-ELF large palette
Thank you so much Meg!
I'm starting in makeup and UDDP was one of these items I had to get my hands on! It's white colour suits every eye-lid and blends easily. It creates a canvas on my lid and I no longer need to worry about my eye-liner moving up to my crease, nor have my eye makeup smear and make me look like a racoon in 2 hours! And I do have very oily lids!Even though the packaging cries for a makeover, please, get the UDDP! It's an essential makeup accessory!
Looking for the best natural way to both exfoliate and use as mask product for your impossible oily and acne-prone skin? This green clay wildly stimulates your skin when applied and all you need to do is need to let it dry for 15 minutes without putting on a frown and the clay absorbs everything you want wiped out on your skin. Do give it a try, it's less expensive than the cosmetic masks but even more efficient!!!
I finally found a foundation that suits my face! Being biracial, I can only turn to hgh-end brands, and that was an option I didn't want to try out as I'm also new in Makeup. My face doesn't break out, it stays matte and it looks natural and non cakey! Thank you so much EDM!
