1) Drink lots of pure water 2) Take skin-supporting supplements like alphalipoic acid, DMAE, Vitamin C, Omega Oil blends and Biosi or Silica every day in addition to a regular multivitamin for your skin and overall health 3) Make double sure that your foundation is not darker or lighter than your natural skin. Check it out in differnet types of light before your commit and mix shades if you can't find a perfect match 4) SPF 30 everyday on your face & chest 5) Use the same products you use on your face on your neck, chest, shoulders. (Trust me, if you are over 40 or approaching it, this is REALLY important!)
My Routine:
I never do my own hair to go out - I leave a good blowout to the experts. It takes me about 1 hour to really do my makeup to the hilt.
My Horror Story:
Taking the really bad advice to get my long hair really short in an asymetrical bob, then dyed black and tons of liquid black eyeliner, pale foundation, pale lipstick. Goth was the look and it wasn't pretty. (on me)
My Celebrity Look-a-like:
When I am wearing a cleavage-baring outfit I have been told I look like Ann-Margret (is she still a celebrity?) When I was 15 lbs lighter I was told I looked like Nicole Kidman (before she became a bleached blond)
It looks a little weird when it 1st comes out of the bottle, but the mineral & liposome combo is really great for your skin, provides SPF and great coverage. It's a little pricey ($49) but worth it.
