About Me: 

I am a freelance makeup artist, mommy of one pretty little girl, dog mom to three pitbulls, fiancee to my wonderful hunny, and a student of science. I loooooove makeup and get really annoyed at people that think it is superficial! Some of the most sincere, caring people I know will not leave the house without makeup lol! My Beauty Secret: 

The best beauty secret anyone can have is to DRINK LOTS OF WATER!!! I know we have always heard that our whole lives so it kinda goes in one ear and out the other, but this will make a TREMENDOUS difference in your appearance! Your skin NEEDS water and when you quench your skin's thirst, it will be more supple and radiant than ever! And great skin makes the perfect canvas for makeup application! Oh yah, and ALWAYS protect your skin from the sun! STAY AWAY FROM TANNING BEDS!

I am a long time Proactiv user and I would die without it. I do not suffer from serious acne but enough to get on my nerves. Proactiv keeps my skin 100% perfect at all times. However, it is expensive so I am thinking about trying Clean n Clear's new line that is being compared to Proactiv.

Another thing I like to do is use virgin coconut oil on my entire body (except face) as soon as I get out of my shower. It does an amazing job of really locking in moisture and makes your skin feel super sexy and soft. The scent is not overwhelming. When purchasing coconut oil, make sure it is virgin and chose a good company! I recommend Tropical Traditions.

My Routine: 

For everyday I like to do a light dusting of mineral foundation, blush, mascara, and lip gloss. I'll usually throw my hair in a ponytail (not so glam). This takes 5 minutes! To really glam it up though, I'll need at least an hour and a half!!!

My Horror Story: 

My most mortifying makeup moment was my entire 4 years of high school because my foundation NEVER matched my skin! This is one of the worst things you can do!

Burt's Baby Bees Bath Line

I use this entire line on my 11 month old daughter. It is all natural and completely free of parabens and other dangerous additives. It smells great and is effective. The products from this line are a little pricey ($7.99 for a regular sized bath wash) but unlike some other organic lines, this is truly worth what you pay for it!

Cat Cosmetics Hello Gorgeous Eye Palette

This is my everyday eye palette! This comes with a bronzer, blush, and four eye shadows. All are super silky and blendable. Very long wearing!! These colors are gorgeous and work for day or night. I adore this and I adore Meg for sending it to me!
