About Me: 

I have very light skin that looks "dirty" wearing most foundations that are light. Living in Miami has its own issues. The humidity with make your make-up (even waterproof is not humidity proof) run to some place you don't want it. Keeping hair from getting frizzy is a daily challenge. But, game on. I'm out to find great products and love reading about what is working for others!

My Beauty Secret: 

Hand sanitizer is great for cleaning make-up brushes too! Run the excess through your comb and hair brushes.
Also all of those beauty samples go right in the suitcase. Many times I've forgotten to pack something and the samples at the bottom of makeup case do the job!

My Routine: 

Glam...hmm depends on the mood really. An hour minimum but if things are looking good, I can experiment with color and add more time to the routine.

My Horror Story: 

Recently I spent too much time in Sephora enjoying the new products. A spritz of perfume on this side a dab here. The foundations were great and finding a color that worked well on my face wasn't easy. (can you see where this is going??) Anyway, was so wrapped up in the business of making a decision that I forgot to clean up before I walked out of the store. I found out pretty quickly why people in the mall were staring at me!

My mother decided my curly frizzy hair was cute and had it cut short. When friends passed around yearbooks to sign, I used a black marker to sign all over my new hairdo.

Carmex lip balm, in tubes or jars. Instant magic

Add a zing of color, soften chapped lips, use as gloss. Can also use it on eyelashes.

St. Ives Body Scrub

This stuff rocks! Forget the expensive scrubs. St Ives is for the serious. Any one touching your body after using this will make a comment on your softness. Actually works very well for faces.

Flat iron

Get a ceramic iron, use a hair serum with it to protect your fabulous locks and use the thing. Keeps the fly aways and frizzies under control and lets you be in control of your hair!
