Everyday Minerals classifies Wet Sand as a blush, but in reality it is the most wonderful, versatile highlighter I have come across! Wet Sand is a beige-toned shimmery powder. Because the sparkle particles are fine, it adds a nice natural shimmer to my skin. I use this product daily to highlight my cheekbones, browbones, and inner corners of my eyes. I also like to use it to lightly line my lower eyelid to make me look more bright-eyed and awake. And despite using it in so many ways, I have hardly made a dent in my sample size after having it for three months.
I've dealt with oily, acne-prone skin for years, and after searching and searching for a gentle, yet effective cleanser, I've finally found it! Purpose Gentle Cleansing Wash foams nicely and removes oil and make up (even eye products) without irritating my skin. It's the first cleanser I've used that feels like it cleans my skin without stripping it of all its natural oils. Plus, it's relatively inexpensive, long-lasting, and my dermatologist approved of it!
As a person with acne-prone skin, I use several prescription acne medications, which have a tendency to leave my skin a little dry. Because of this, I use Jason Naturals Vitamin E Beauty Oil (5000 I.U.) daily as a moisturizer-- a few drops mixed with sunscreen lotion in the morning, and mixed with a few drops of jojoba oil at night. The oil is so easy to apply to a slightly damp face-- I just squeeze 2 or 3 drops into my palm, rub my hands together, and apply gently to my face, spreading it around. It has a delicious almond smell and absorbs and moisturizes really well. And, when I wake up in the morning after using this, my skin is SO soft. The best thing about this oil is that it doesn't make me break out!
