Jojoba Oil. Works wonders on my oily skin during the summer months. Water. It's a must have! Ever since drinking more water and cutting down on my soda intake my skin has cleared.
My Routine:
I have changed my routine about a billion times since being on this site due to the weather changes. Right now I am suffering from some patchy dryness on my cheeks and nose and my skin is super sensitive. A while back I received the Luvalla Milk Cleanser from Meg and it worked wonders on my skin. However I just can't afford to pay that price so I am currently looking into finding a cheaper version. Due to my sensitive skin I am using a plain old Dove beauty bar as my face wash. It's keeping my skin clear and seems to be doing a great job at keeping the dryness at bay. I am also using a moisturizer from Aveeno. It's in their calming line and has SPF 15. It's main purpose in my routine is to reduce the redness in my cheeks and to help my fair skin stay that way. I only wash my face at night to get all the grime of the day off. I haven't had any need for washing in the morning since my acne cleared up. Just a splash of cold water is all I need.
My makeup routine is something that changes the more I learn from this site. I use the Monistat Chafing Gel as a primer. I put on some concealer where needed. Followed with my PQM. I usually wear a nice sheer pinky/peachy blush and a very light bronzer. I use the ELF Mineral Eye Shadow Primer. I love this stuff. I normally get major creasing and oilyness by noon on any given day but this keeps everything in place until I take it off. All of my eyecolors tend to be a very neutral brown color during my work week but I do love purples and pinks as well. I usually only wear one coat of mascara to keep things toned down for work. Currently I am using a Lancome mascara that I received as a gift. I'm more of a gloss girl but I do occasionally wear a lipstick. I just find it hard to find colors that in my eyes look OK on my skin tone. Sheer gloss has become my friend due to this annoying tick of thinking I'm too pale.
*Please note that this has been changed so the comments will not be for this product.*I love these minerals. After countless irritations by others (even after using for a while I would get irritated out of the blue) I have gone back to this product. My skin has really made a complete turn around. It hides my redness perfectly & makes my skin better all around. http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5089487
I'm a complete lipgloss junkie. Doesn't matter if it's liquid or stick. I love it and I have to wear it all the time. I love the GBG's because they have great colors to choose from and they have a minty scent to them that isn't overpowering. They are pretty sheer in color. I usually wear peek a boo for just a glossy natural look. I wear girly girl on top of my Mark Mini Mark It Stick in pink for a fresh girly pink look. I also love the fact that they are what Mark calls a hookup. Which means you can connect it to another favorite and go. (ie: my gbg in girly girl connected to my mark it in pink) Great for someone like me who hates to carry around a lot of things and tends to lose makeup in my purse.
This is a great mascara. It has the BIG brush to give those lashes the perfect volume. It's not waterproof but I've never had a problem with it running down my face. However I don't swim and I don't get teary eyed very easily. It washes off pretty easy. Just soap and water. Everything you could expect from a mascara.www.mymarkstore.com/rhunter
