i teach art and am an artist- and lllllove makeup. I'm Scottish and moved over to the States to do my MFA but ended up staying. I've always been obsessed with makeup and it was very handy that as a teenager my mum was an Avon lady. We got to test everything it was great!!!!!!

My Beauty Secret: 

well my latest beauty secret is the curly girl method!!!!!!!!!!! i love it~ the premise is you stop using harsh sulfates and silicones on your curly hair, washing with conditioner instead which is a gentle cleanser in its own right, curls will become more moisturized and will have better definition and less frizz~ Im just starting this so still havent done it properly but i am so in love with the idea and have read tons at the main forum site on naturallycurly.com it is fascinating. :)
drinking lots of water helps my skin too.

My Routine: 

In the morning i usually just use cetaphil gentle cleanse and then my oil of olay spf 15 complete, in the evening if i have full makeup off i remove it with a cream cleanser and then use my lovely mia clarisonic with some cetaphil or other cleanser.. i tend to not moisturize too much as i get clogged pores, instead i hydrate with a hydrosol and HA serum from gardenofwisdom.com. love all their stuff!

My Horror Story: 

mmm, i remember how i would put makeup on my eyes in high school, years ago, with the same brown color from eyelid all the way up to the brow! ick! hahahaha ive learnt alot since then, most of it thanks to youtube.

Clarisonic mia

I llloveeeee my clarisonic mia!!!!!! I have only had it a week, but it makes washing my face so fun! I get really excited. I find the mia really great compared to the full size as it does the same job just with fewer choices of speed which is fine with me. I can notice a dif in the smoothness of my face already and I am hoping that when I come back to add to this review in a month that I will have even more positive results. GoW Simply Clean Tea Tree Oil Cleanser

I love GOW stuff!!!! www.gardenofwisdom.comThis cleanser is very tea tree ish but i love it, I use it along with a few of their other cleansers and find that my skin is looking really healthy.I use their bha, aha and mandelic acids too.Great great company!!!!
