Everyday Minerals Matte Mineral Foundation

EDM Foundation in Matte is one of my HG products!!! It is a great mineral foundation that feels like on my face, yet covers imperfections!! I could never live with out it!! It's a great bargain for your money and a great company!

I honestly didn't think I would like the Matte formula, so it was the very last one I tried and only just recently. I have to say, I love it! It works so much better than the Intensive formula as a concealer. I wish I had tried it sooner!

Bummer for me - Everyday Minerals irritated my skin, even though it was supposed to be one of the "good" mineral makeups with fewer ingredients and such :( I guess my skin just doesn't like mineral makeup in general! Good to see it works for some people though :)

I'm really sorry to hear that, sweetxsoul! Is it just the foundation, or the blush and e/s too? I remember reading some threads on the EM forum about some women who had irritated and itchy skin from the mica in the foundation.. have you tried any mmu without mica?

I love matte, it works perfectly for me! I've never tried intensive but I don't need that much coverage, and I don't like any sort of shimmer, so matte is the perfect balance for me. Now BE is trying to compete with EDM's success by releasing a bismuth free, matte version of their foundation, but I'll stick with my EDM over that overpriced stuff!

I have been using EDM since May and have been using matte pretty much the whole time. I have tried semi matte and original glo but felt both made me shiny in a short time. Haven't tried intensive yet since I thougt it might make me look too made up. Been satisfied with matte so I think I will stick to it for now at least.

I love EDM foundation too, it looks great, esp now i have my application down. I have oily skin so it took a while to get the layers right so that it doesnt slip off my face in a couple of hours. My routine is.. moisturize with an oil (jasons vit e oil perhaps) on wet face. apply finishing powder once dry in light layer.. lightly buff edm semi matt on. on top another light layer of finishing powder. works for me :)

I tried the matte, but it actually made my skin oily very quick. I prefer the intensive formula, which keeps my face from gettin shiny longer than the matte did. Also, the intensive gives more coverage.
