My Beauty Secret:

The right tools are worth their weight in gold. I invested in some Trish McEvoy and Stila brushes and it makes all the difference in the world. There's no point in spending 100's of $$$ on expensive makeup if you use cheap brushes -- you're not getting the most out of your products if you're using inferior tools to put them on.

My Routine:

Straight business mixed with lollygagging. Straight to it = 20 minutes. Lollygaggging = hours.

My Horror Story:

When I was younger, my aunt (who is in no way, shape, or form, a trained stylist) used to cut my hair. When I was in the 6th grade, you know, like, when you're going through your Mean Girl era, I had this horrible dorky short-ish haircut when everyone else had ponytails (and boobs).

My Celebrity Look-a-like:

Kathleen Turner, Kate Winslet and Sarah McLachlan. Seeing a pattern? Moonfaces. We all got big ol' moonfaces. Not big heads, just big faces. What can I say, I'm Scandinavian. We are not petite people, nor are our mugs.

Youngblood Mineral Foundation -- Loose and Liquid

Both the liquid and powder are amazing. They give great coverage without masking your skin's natural glow. You don't feel it on your face and your skin can breathe, and yet it looks flawless. Seriously, I think mineral makeup is the biggest breakthrough for women since the disposable pad.
