About Me:

Hey everyone, my name is Sharyn. I'm just a simple girl living in Southern CA. Can't beat the sunshine! I have been obsessed with makeup ever since I was little, and only recently have I become more fascinated with techniques from watching Youtube videos. My favorite thing about makeup is that my creative side comes out. I like sitting in front of my mirror when I'm bored and experimenting with neutral looks as well as really colorful and adventurous looks. It's fun to discover new products and trying them out. I especially love eyeshadows&lipsticks whether they are drugstore or high end brands. IF IT LOOKS GOOD THEN ROCK IT!!!

My skin has become pretty oily and I can't find anything to battle them. Primers don't work at all, and I feel like it makes my skin more oily. Powders just slide off hours later and it's just shine, shine, shine. So if you have any products that you can recommend, please leave me a message in my guestbook. It would be awesome!

I'm a pretty reserved person initially but once you get to know me, I'm pretty outgoing. I enjoy smiling and laughing every moment I can. I'm really family oriented and that really comes with being in a Filipino family but I absolutely love it. I'm actually 3/4 Filipino and 1/4 Chinese but no one ever really gets my nationality right. That's okay though because I find it interesting and it keeps people guessing.

I currently work with an environmental consulting firm and I am loving every single moment of it.

My Routine:

-get out of the shower
-with a damp face, i apply Jason Vitamin E oil
-let it soak in for 5-10 minutes
-blow dry my hair
-Everyday Minerals foundation
-blush
-UDPP
-eyeshadow
-cream eyeliner
-curl my eyelashes&apply mascara
-chapstick
-lipstick and/or gloss

night time:
-cleanse face with Dove face wash
-apply toner
-Cetaphil moisturizer
-sleep :)

I can't live without this product...

Jason Vitamin E Oil 5,000 i.u.

This is like magic in a bottle. It's my favorite moisturizer hands down. I use it right after my morning shower when my face is a bit damp. The oil soaks in faster and better when the face is a bit damp when its applied. When I first heard about this oil, I wasn't sure I was going to like it because my face type is oily. I thought oil on an oily face? No way right?! After using it for several months now, I feel like my face isn't as oily. And my face feels so soft now! Besides using it as a face moisturizer, this oil can be used to moisturize your legs, arms, or whatever you feel is dry. It's wonderful for sunburns too! And we all know how great Vitamin E is for our skin!

I wouldn't die, but I would suffer greatly without this product...

Everyday Minerals Blush- Apple

This is my go to blush. It's great for an everyday look because it gives just the right amount of that reddish pink flush to the cheeks. It looks very natural. I like this blush too because it's in a matte finish. Most blushes out there have some kind of fine shimmer or glitter so I like that this can be worn anywhere such as parties or the office.

Solia Flat Iron

I love my flat iron and I don't know what I would do without it. I have really thick hair and this thing really straightens my hair. There is a temperature control that goes up to 450 degrees which is HOT but I like that I can control it. This iron doesn't tug on my hair so it's pretty smooth as I pull it down from my crown to the ends. It heats up pretty fast and there is a light that flickers when it's ready for use which is a great feature. I've had mine for about 5-6 years and it still works like the first day that I got it in the mail. And for being a REAL ceramic tourmaline flat iron, it was worth my $88 bucks!
