I have a pretty typical life. I live with my boyfriend and our two babies (they're actually cats, but hey..you have to start somewhere). We're just trying to save up some money right now so we can have a wedding and then buy a house.
Other than that, I'm like a lot of the ladies on here. I've been obsessed with makeup since before I can remember. My grandma happily fueled my addiction at an early age. I'm really good friends with the lady from the MAC counter. It's probably my favorite brand, but I'm definitely branching out. I'm also a huge fan of drug store products. I love finding a good deal! I'm also obsessed with bath and body products. I'm one of those crazy people with 5 kinds of shampoo in my shower. I'm okay with that (my boyfriend, on the other hand, is not, because he knocks them all over about every other morning).
I work crazy hours (right now it's over nights..which is awful!), but I really do like my job. I wish I had more free time, but I'm happy with my life.

My Beauty Secret:
White shimmery shadows on the inside corners of your eyes works wonders. Also, I never leave the house without using shine serum in my hair. Those two are necessary.
My Routine:
It really depends on the day. At work I tend to get dirty, sweaty, and covered in things I don't want to think about; therefore, my routine is pretty minimal. Give me some concealer, mascara, and blush and I'm good to go. My hair is wavy so I just put in some shine serum, gel, and split end corrector, "sprunch" my hair and go.
If I'm going out or want to look nice I almost always resort to a smokey eye. I love them, especially if they're something more "creative" than black. Purple is definitely one of my favorites. Mascara is always a must, as is eyeliner. Blush and bronzer are usually applied those days too. Days that I want to look more put together I usually blow dry and straighten my hair. I use a spray on heat protector from Dove, shine serum, and split end corrector. Pureology makes a pretty awesome one.
My Horror Story:
I, too, suffer from perms. There are no pictures of me until the age of 12 where I didn't have permed hair. It was pretty dreadful.
I accidentally turned my hair bright orange once during a dying incident. That mistake was expensive and kind of sucked.
My Celebrity Look-a-like:
I can honestly say I don't think I look like anyone famous.
I love this. I absolutely love it. I am usually a Cover Girl Lash Blast user, but I tried this out on a whim once and I am so in love with it. It has a rubber brush that's not nearly as big as CG's Lash Blast or Max Factor's mascara that's similar. It's smaller. This mascara makes my lashes ridiculously long and definitely curls them like promised. It holds all day too. I also feel like this makes my lashes look fuller as well. The only thing I can think that I dislike about this product is that it runs VERY easily. Even if my eyes water slightly I get all smudgey and smeared, which isn't the best, but they probably have this in a water proof option.
This is another one of my favorites. It's minty and slightly tingly. It gives a nice cooling sensation. It's shiny, but not sticky at all. It's super moisturizing like a balm, except with shine, which is pretty subtle. What more could you ask for? Cons for this product are pretty limited, I guess the only thing I could ask for is that it would be a little more long lasting, but then it would probably be sticky and I wouldn't use it nearly as much.
I love nail polish. It's definitely one of my favorite cosmetics. I just recently got hardcore into nail polish and China Glaze is definitely my favorite brand. I'm really not sure if I have a favorite color, but Ruby Pumps is definitely high up there on the list. It's a fabulous red color that is obviously shimmery and sparkly. As far as polishes go I have good luck with China Glaze. The polish has a good wear time. It doesn't chip too easily. The colors are highly pigmented and fabulous.
