I love trying new products and am always in search of "the best" for whatever I'm looking for...which is how I stumbled on Meg's Makeup a couple years ago- I've been lurking and finding new great things and always come here before buying anything! I'm not afraid to spend money on something that is worth it but love getting a good drugstore deal if it'll save me some dollars to spend on the splurges!
After almost 10 years of post-college "working for The Man" and doing my hair and makeup every day, I've decided to stay home with my new baby boy...but don't want to turn into a frumpy mess! I still want to look "put together," even when I'm sprinting around the grocery store grabbing groceries like I'm in Supermarket Sweep as the countdown to his almost inevitible crying is quickly approaching...
These 3 Kerastase products are all awesome!! The Bain Gommage for dry hair is the line's new dandruff shampoo...I have always had icky dry scalp issues and even though dermatologists say to use Head & Shoulders or Selsun Blue to take care of it, I never wanted to dry out my hair any more and risk ruining my blonde highlights! This is a creamy shampoo and, seriously, my hair and scalp have never been in better shape.
Love love love this product!! My hair went from straight growing up, to curly in college, to slightly wavy and has a hard time holding the curl now...I apply this to my hair once it's towel-dried and either air dry or diffuse it and the curls stay in place and don't break up and get frizzy. I could never use mousse b/c my curls would get all poofy and gel didn't work right...this is a creamy gel-ish product, and I love it!
I think I've finally found my favorite sunless tanner!! Every year, I try a couple new self tanners...I have super-fair skin ("the fairest of them all" as I like to call it!) but love being tan in the summer...shorts, skirts, and tank tops all look better with a tan! After spraying on carrot oil in high school and college (and having a couple of freakish moles on my neck and back) I smartened up and decided I should embrace my paleness...or at least not risk the damage I was doing to my skin and should only use self tanner.
