I'm definately a glamour gal, and my poor budget sure reflects it, but what the heck? What's more fun than looking and feeling beautiful? I'm addicted to this site and if I don't control it I'll probably end up losing my job because I never get anything done!

My Beauty Secret:
Oh boy... so many! Exfoliating is sooo important! Body and face... I make my own scrubs to save $$ and have them exactly the way I want (sugar for incredibly smooth skin, coffee grounds because caffeine helps get rid of cellulite, baby oil so my skin doesn't dry out, and essential oils for aromatherapy!). I don't tan anymore because I figured it was stupid to reverse all the $$ I spend on skin products! I absolutely love Dove's Summer Glow Tanning lotion; I've never got a streak from it and it's CHEAP. I buy in bulk :) I save $$ wherever I can so I can splurge on the most important things! My next adventure... learning how to make skin care!Oh! One more thing... I used to work for Estee Lauder (awesome!) and I sold Mary Kay for a while (not so awesome). I like helping people bring out their beauty potential. I wish more women would experiment with make-up and see how much it can really transform! Self confidence is much more attractive than any outfit or eye color.
My Routine:
Oh boy... in the morning before work about an hour or so. If I'm running late I do my makeup in the car (as I'm smoking a cig, sending a text, and shifting)! If we are talking an evening outing here, I like to have about two hours. Somehow though, even when I take that much time, I'm still late!! I would never make it anywhere if I allowed wine breaks...
My Horror Story:
Sooo many. Especially with my hair! I love how it seems that EVERYONE here started their hair dying addiction in the teen years with "Sun In"! I did that and from there it was a downward spiral to all things bad for the hair...In high school a new stylist kept chopping and chopping until she turned me in to a boy (I was too nervous to say anything), then I turned my blonde locks brassy red, a month later added black tips (beleive it or not I started a trend, and I still don't know why), then I wanted blonde again so I had to strip it (ugh!) and had straw on my head for years as it grew out. In fact, I still have some of that poor hair left on my ends.I finally learned my box color lesson when burnette trying to go blonde = purple. So now I always, always go to the salon.
For years I have desperately searched for something to fix my dreadful, straw-like, over-processed locks. Nothing helped until I finally reached deep into that Louis Vuitton and spent some hard earned cash wear it belonged - at my stylists! There are no words to explain how this has transformed my hair. It's silky now, and it holds color in between those monthly trips. I would certainly die without it! I buy in bulk now and I'm truly in love. I've also bought a gazillion of the syling products, which by the way if anyone is looking for something to help with fighting curls or frizz, I swear to you that their straightening gel is a life saver! I still am on the lookout for something to rescue my hair from the damage I cause with the hair dryer though...
Recently I had Estee Lauder's Re-Nutriv foundation listed as my fav but after a couple weeks of wearing it I have decided to go back to the tried and true. Nothing can beat Double Wear's coverage or long wearability (is that a word?)! It lasts through anything. I'm not kidding. You can sleep in it and have full coverage the next morning. The only downside (if it is one?) is that you need to be VERY thorough taking it off at night. I find the only thing that can remove it is Estee Lauder's Take It Away remover. The longest lasting, best coverage I have ever found. Oh, and they also developed Double Wear lipstick and concealer which made me the happiest girl alive!
This is a classic! I don't use it daily anymore but I did when I was younger and had to fight those pimples. I use it now a couple times a week to freshen up my skin and keep that acne at bay!
