My daughter tells me I look like Elisabeth Shue, we both had big hair in the 80's. When my I lived in NYC and had really short hair people compared me with Katie Couric. My Aunt thinks I look like actress Dian Cannon, recently played a judge on Ally McBeal and starred in many 70's movies like "Heaven Can Wait."

My Beauty Secret:
Drink lots of water, disregard silly Meg's suggestion that water = poop! And, be good to yourself and your skin. Use excellent skincare products and sunscreen. Your skin will look infinitely better when you get older, trust me!I was so inspired by this website I created a blog to discuss beauty issues: http://www.mythbusterbeauty.com. Also, whatever Kate and Desert Doll suggest, do it!
My Routine:
Are you kidding? Between several interuptions from little people, about 40 minutes.
My Horror Story:
My Dear Mother gave me a home perm when I was 8, and I will never forget my best friend Missy's reaction after seeing me the next day at school, my hair must have been a horrendous sight! Hair has always been a sensitive issue for me: thick, kinky, frizzy, and terribly dry. I recently came across Lorraine Massey's book, 'Curly Girl
Primers are my must have product now a days. In the last few years, I stared noticing that my "never needed foundation" face was changing. In my 20's a little concealer and a pat of powder did the trick. As I have clicked through the 30's, some cruel and inconceivable changes started to occur to my complexion, oh the humanity! In searching for the perfect primers, my favorites have been: Laura Mercier's Hydrating Primer in the dry winter months, Perricone's Ceramic Skin is divine, and Alison Raffale's are helping me get my groove back. Viva to the Thirty+ Women!
After mulitiple glowing recommendations, I purchased Suki's Lemongrass Cleanser. It really does smell like a lemondrop; it even tastes like a lemondrop! As promised, this cleanser is the best: great gentle exfoliator, cleans without being too harsh, and leaves my skin feeling soft and as supple as my little Becca's bum! Bless you SUKI and Meg's Team of Beauty Divas, you all are da BOMB!
I have been searching for a foundation like this my entire life and I have tried several. My main objectives: natural looking coverage without the cakiness/deposits some foundations can have, applies smoothly without too much work, & won't cause breakouts. My most crucial question: Can it live up to the lighted "magnification" mirror test? It is true, I am a bit obsessed with my skin, but I notice so many ladies with horrible foundation, and then ask myself the question, "Am I one of THEM?" With this foundation and a superb primer, I can confidently respond, "Not me!" The SPF 20 is a bonus, love it, love it, love it!!!
