No exercise and super healthy eating.Constant junkfood and hardcore workout.I'd rather do the no exercise and healthy eating since exercise just takes too much time.
oh man, well they both do totally different things, for the best health i eat well and work out. i think that good food is the foundation for a long and happy lifestyle. i would chose eating well... if i had to chose one i twould be no work outs and healthy food. crappy food makes your body shit down and makes it harder to work out. :(
I agree that both are bad options! But if I had to do either, I guess I'd be the junkfood junkie with hardcore exercise. Sweets are one of my downfalls! But I don't recommend either!
I go for the hardcore workout (think 300 crunches a night) and then pig out, it's a bad habit but I like brownies, and cookies, and donuts, and cake, and......... Oh boy......-Allya (http://paintedtips.blogspot.com/)
I go for the more or less eating healthy. And some exercise. Walking, yoga, pilates (at home to DVDs and I did buy a pilates bar). And to stop obessing on my weight. This has worked for me. I have lost 65 pounds since May 1 of last year and feel great.
I know that last sentence was an unfortunate typo but it still made me laugh...and I needed a laugh. Because fact is its true...crappy food DOES make you feel like s#*t. Thanks J baby...I needed that.
i eat pretty healthy and i havent exercised regularly for a few years now. Did not change a size..... People may not be able to exercise for health reasons, but what they eat is their own choice
If I had to choose I would take no exercise and healthy food. I already eat healthy now and have learned to make sweets better for me (thank you hungrygirl) plus I only do yoga a few times a month. My job and keeping our apartment clean is enough of a workout. Funny line about how junk food makes our body feel. :) I agree with that one. LOL.
since u dont want to combine exercise and healthy eating, i recommend the no exercise one. if u workout and eat whatever, u wont see any results. i know from experience.
If you lose weight by changing your eating habits, but don't exercise, you will lose muscle mass as well as fat. And the more muscle you have, the faster and more efficiently your body burns calories. I hate to exercise, too, and I force myself to do it at least 4 times a week, but it is never fun for me.
I workout like a dog and have a strict diet...does it make THAT much of a dif physically? Not sure but my asthma is almost totally under control without meds now.:)I would honestly say that at my "thinnest",I didn't workout and ate like a bird...so...I guess based on experience,I'd say healthy eating and no workouts! ;)It truly does seem to have more "benefits" than living at the gym,I am growing weary of it.
Definetley working out. I have done weight classes for years. Not to be a body builder but the strength and change in body shape is amazing. I think it was when I went to put on a t-shirt a few summers back and realized for the first time that my arms looked wimpy. It was then that I took control. I still have my junk.....Marble slab ice cream. Cookies, etc but with doing the weights I feel strong and empowered. Also it really seems to help with depression and anxiety.Artcandy
I would go for the healthy eating and no exercise. It's pretty much what I do now! LOL even though I'm trying to change! As much as I love to eat junk food, I'm just ridiculously lazy :(
I'd be so sad if I could never eat ice cream and snack food every once and awhile, so if forced to choose, I'd pick the junk food + hardcore exercising. In reality though, we all need a healthy balance of both. Some people may be able to keep their weight down solely thru dieting, but that doesn't mean they're actually healthy. Now, if exercising weren't so darn hard...
I find annoyinly some areas just take longer to tone up without the exercise, like your shoulders get bony and legs get skinny but its usually the area you want to tone the most thats the slowest also if you lose too much weight too fast from healthy eating and no exercise you could end up with scary slack skin situation which is enough to scare me back to the exercise.I think Im going to try out the tracy anderson dance cardio workout-cos is probebly would be more fun than most, gotta get the dvd.
I tend to combine the two.. really bad diet and no exercise. >_<Honestly though, I find it hard to stay motivated to eat well and work out. I do it sporadically, but then fall back into bad habits. I use SparkPeople to try to stay accountable for what I eat at least, but I tend to forget to eat a lot of the time which is my biggest downfall. When I make myself eat three meals a day and work out (Wii Fit is my equipment of choice), I always have more energy and feel better. Don't know why I can't get it into my head to do it on a regular basis.
tough choice! But I find that I cannot work out well if I eat a lot of junk food. I am definitely not a super-healthy eater though, everything in moderation!
When I can motivate myself to exercise regularly and effecively, I can eat pretty much anything in any quantity and maintain a size in the single digits, which is my personal standard for success. Not there at the moment, though.
I have a REALLY hard time losing weight regardless of how I exercise, but it rarely fluctuates-- no matter what I eat. So if I'm at a low weight (say size 4), I can eat whatever I want and not gain.. but the same goes for if I'm at a size 8, even if I eat a healthy balanced diet, I barely lose anything. Food isn't really a factor at all for me, aside from that my body tends to seem heavier if I only eat one meal a day. I was at a nice stable weight/size that I was happy with until I went on the Depo shot a few years ago, still struggling to get rid of the weight it made me gain even though I was only on it for a few months.
IF I HAD TO CHOOSE!!!The worse would be the junkfood with hardcore workout. Because without the right foods, you workouts won't get your body very far.I had a competitive bodybuilder tell me that you can eat 3000 calories a day and still lose weight as long you eat the right stuff!
Man this is tough! I'm lazy and I love junk food haha. I think I would take the no exercise one, too, though, I agree with it just taking too much time.
Of course they're both bad for you but I think I'd pick super healthy eating & no working out. I just don't have to time or energy to work out! The funny thing is that when I get on a good workout schedule and stick to it I have so much more energy, but I'm just too lazy to get myself to that point!
Definitely neither is a good choice. The food lover in me would probably pick the "constant junkfood and hardcore workouts" haha but I know that the better choice if I had to pick is the first option.I definitely have been living more of the "no exercise and super healthy eating" days in my life lol guilty. Especially when the schedule just gets out of hand, you move, vacation, and all that. But I do admit just eating right I feel a difference and I feel more motivated to get up and doing things which should but do sometimes replace workouts. Plus it's better for my health especially since I have Diabetes.
I'm really bad so I tent to eat bad and not workout. I walk a lot and love salad so I guess that's been my saving grace. When I lived in the states I went to an all girls gym, but they don't have those where I'm at. I'm just not comfortable working out in front of boys.
As everyone said, both are not that great, but I think the eating healthy option would be better. Junk food is bad for your insides, and people usually move around somewhat, whether it just be shopping at the mall for a few hours, lol
I would rather eat what I want and enjoy and exercise, then not exercise and eat healthy. I believe eating healthy is good, don't get me wrong, but I just am not into it, that much. I prefer to eat organic foods, fresh fruit and smoothies, but I do not eat veggies (only carrots) so healthy diets are not easy for me. I also LOVE pasta and dessert, I can't help it. I have seen movies that have made me think, I would rather do and eat what I want in life, I do not want to miss out. Exercise is also important in everyday life. Even though that is not so easy either.
I wouldn't recommend either. :(

bluedevilkitty, I know lol. I thought it would be a fun "Would you Rather" type of thing.
OH God, this is hard. I think I would have to say the hardcore work out and junk food junkie..I can't live with out my sweets lol..soo bad I know!

You body will suffer either way!

i exercise a couple times a week, and try to eat 5 small meals a day, but i sneak in my junk food every now and then

I say learn to love fruits and veggies in every season. Plus, exercise and walk whenever you can! Also, learn to love water!

If I really had to choose then I'd go for the healthy eating.

I'd rather eat healthy, as I'm not a big junk food fan anyways.

I vote healthy eating! As long ads you eat good youll get moderate exercise from everyday activity.

Man this is tough! I'm lazy and I love junk food haha. I think I would take the no exercise one, too, though, I agree with it just taking too much time.
Constant junkfood and hardcore workout.Without hestationeating healthy mean eating GOOD fat ( the one your body needs) !

I combine both hardwork out, junk funk and healthy eating
I think you should try to healthy eat and work out....its my new motto and seems to be working well :)
