Sephora 500 point redemption

I was planning on placing another Sephora order, the last time I ordered (3 days ago) I realized that I had 500 points. I didn't redeem, because the 500 point gift was a Kat Van D eyeshadow quad. I thought I would just save the points until the next gift came out. The last one I got was a really nice Sephora pallette, it had everything in it you need, and it's bigger than the usual compact, but not so big you can't fit it in your bag. But now I'm thinking that the Kat Van D quad has really beautiful colors, and maybe I should give it a try. Has anyone else redeemed their 500 points for this item? Just wondering how you liked it.
