Problem with a swapper. Help!!!

I swapped my MAC Prep and Prime primer with a girl from Europe, for Revlon Colorstay's Oily/Combination in Rich Tan. I sent mine on October 21rst and she sent it the next monday. As you know, there have been the post strikes and they sent back her package to her. She claimed having sent it again on Monday November 9th.I still haven't received it yet.What can I do? She's an honest person and sincere but I've waited so long!
What country is she shipping from? You are in France, right? Shipping can sometimes take a while, it's really hit and miss as to how long it takes for something to get anywhere. I ship a TON for my Ebay store, a lot of international stuff, and it's amazing how fast some packages get to their destination, while others seem to take weeks. You say she's an honest person, so I would think you have nothing to worry about. At least you aren't out any money really.

I live in Belgium and normally, from Europe, I receive packages within 5days-a week.
Sometimes these things happen. Nothing you can do but use good faith. I am sure she sent it but if not...it just wasn't meant to be. Consider in your head that you did a good deed, and sent out a gift to someone who really wanted it!

it may have even got lost. i know someone who ships 20 packages a week and she says a least one-two every week gets lost! isnt that sad?? the postal strikes are over?i say give it a whole month, then forget about it...have you told her you never recieved it? she might be nice enough to offer you something else

it was her first swap. I pray it wasn' lost but it sure could be. Geez, why does it happen to me!!! I feel so bad for that on my first swap! I'll have to wait til February to get that product!
I wrote her many times this week telling her everyday I hadn't received it and sking her to send a new one, but she hasn't answered. She's not on makeupalley anymore too.I wish it were all over!
it's really not her fault or responsibility to send you a new one (if she even has another). it's unfortunate, but it's part of the risk involved in swapping. i hope you do get it delivered, but emailing her everyday is probably overwhelming her when it's out of her control.

If you were swapping through makeupalley or livejournal, check to see what other swappers said about her (left comments/tokens). I still haven't received it. But that's ok, I'll buy the foundation in my French trip in February. She even closed her profile page on MUA.

I am French too, I wwas born in Paris and I'm not only going to a birthday party in February, but on the same day, I'm on a huge shopping spree. Girl, you are so beautiful!!!Anyway, I'll ask my brother who's coming from France to get it for me for Christmas, as he's coming to Belgium for the celebration.I think I will definitely not receive it from her! I still hope but there's no use!

I have never swapped, hearing this worries me a bit but then again I am in the US so there would be less of a chance of it getting lost I think
