OLAY REGENERIST PLUS BONUS

  • Giving Good Face! Here's The Skinny!

Hi Megette's, Chanelisbest here to advise what I have experienced with some products I have just tried would like to share with you. I found these at Walgreens, another one of my favorite places to shop because of the new and wonderful beauty products they are coming up with. Plus at bargain prices for us ladies who are trying to pinch a few pennies in this lovely time of our economic slump. It's very bad here in Vegas, we've taken quite the hit but it will get better or I am making a major move soon. Okay I did give a review on Olay Regenerist microsculpting cream. I needed some new moisturizer because I ran out. I wanted a good moisturizer as well and looked for bargains and good results. Some people had various opinions, but that's what makes this world great, we all have differing opinions and experiences we can all share.  I went ahead with Olay and seeing the commercials did get to me because it made me wonder #1, why is it always sold out at all the stores I peruse, and #2 the great reviews I read from various beauty experts about Olay's products plus I wanted to find out for myself. I was very pleased with the moisturizer. I use it at night and have been now for about a month and my skin is really soft and line free. Honestly I don't suffer from sun damage or wrinkles that look as if I'm going to keel over any day now. I've always been pretty dilligent about my skin care regimen thanks to my mothers advice when I was 13. But let's face it, as we all get older we have to change a few products. I live in the desert which is very drying on your face and the more emollient the moisturizer and sunscreen the better. The moisturizer is fantastic for a night cream and for a day cream, always followed or included in the product, sunscreen. It is a must to keep our skin line free. Because of the surprising results I found with Olay, I found more products in the Olay regenerist area that were on sale and included sample products. I couldn't wait to get home and try them, the skin care product maniac I am. That evening after cleansing my face, there was the Olay reversal treatment foam. It was like I was putting moose on my face. It was amazing. It was smooth, felt like silk on my face and neck and I definitely knew it was a good by the way my skin reacted. The results were great. With the Olay Revesal Treatment Foam, there was a sample of Olay night recovery cream. Another great product. Immediately pleased. No, I don't work for the company and I am very skeptical about all products, believe me. Next sample in the great find was the olay wrinkle filler. It says in the directions to use around your eyes, your lips anywhere you think you use a great deal of expression and it fills in what could be heavy lines or the even the faintest. Great find. So far all I can really say is that I have been highly surprised and pleased with all the products I've so far used from Olay. I was a huge skeptic on this product because when I was a kid I remember my mother always had great face creams she used and her skin was virtually line free. Yes, she was Italian, and yes she was dilligent about the sunscreen. She preached about it endlessly. I just remember her having this jar of Oil of Olay on her dresser once and I always thought maybe it was just a cheap product. I remember there were always commercials on Oil of Olay as a kid and thought, ah, whatever. It never struck me as something to get excited about.  They apparently have improved their products immensely. The main ingredient I have always told to look for from a dermatologist is either Cellex C or C peptide because it truly works very well with your skin. Much like products that contain Alphahydroxi acids. They're ridding the dead skin cells for skin renewal and glowing effects. I found this in very expensive and great products such as Kinerase and the ever so expensive and best stuff money can buy, La Mer. It is comparable. As stated used the best, used the most expensive, used cheaper brands, but you have to know what to look for as well. So far, so good. For now this will do and I'm pleased. Once the economy gets better, back to my others. Shhhhh...

megsplace says,

I was really excited to use the Olay Regenerist night cream because I've heard so many good things about it but I didn't have great results. I was really displeased because I had peeling and increased sensitivity when I woke up after a few days of using it. I was hoping for a better response from it and I don't have sensitive skin so needless to say it didn't work for me but I'm glad that someone is enjoying it. It is getting good reviews for a reason, just not for me :)

I just got a 28 day sample of this and am starting it out.  I'm 24 but it's never too early to start with products like this I guess.  I am excited to try it after reading this review!

Megsplace, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. But as stated, it may not work for anyone. Some of us have very dry skin, sensitive skin, oily skin, etc., It worked well for me and I do hope you find something that may make your skin feel better. It could be the ingredients were harsh on you because you're only 24 and most girls in thier 20's are good to go with just sunscreen. I hope you find your product because it is hard to try all the great ones out there and find you niche. We all have to do that because what works for another may not work for the other person. We all know this. So far so good on my end. Nbomski I admire your stating that your never too young to start a good skin care regimine.

erica says,

I have really oily skin, and all I can really use is retin-a, sometimes with a serum over top. But I had purchased some Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting cream for my sister, after hearing such rave reviews about it, and listening to her complain that her dry skin shows fine lines so easily. She loves it, she even repurchased, and she's never done that before. Her skin looks really good, I can definately see an improvement.
