This challenge I speak of? I want to know your BEST hair products for volume and thickness! History: I got a short, layered cut from a friend who was just starting out at beauty school. Well.. it grew out, and ohmygosh I looked like I had a mullet. Two days ago I got it cut (the right way!) at a salon. I haven't blow-dried it yet, but I'm going to try out the product the woman recommended for me today. So, here's what I use (aka what doesn't work.):Herbal Essence body envy shampoo, conditioner and hairspray.Matrix Blow in volume.This is what I got:Nioxin Thickening Spray.Buttttt... I wanna know, what gives your hair awesome volume?
Well... I use a cavalry of hair products... but it works... I get volume!Lol I start out with a layer of leave in conditioner because I know all the hair products I use is really bad for my hair.Then I add some root booster. I'm using BIG sexy hair root volumizer foam spray. The (since I have curly hair) I use any various mouse. Right now Im using Curly sexy hair spray mousse. Scrunch... Flip upside down and blowdry with a diffuser on low. Half way dry add half a bottle of hairspray(only slight exxageration)When 99 percent dry flip back over and use other half can of hairspray.TA DA!

I've been using some Herbal Essences Volumizing Mousse and it works really good for me, but I have naturally curly hair and don't really have a problem with volume. The mousse just makes my hair a lot curlier and defined.
