Invitation Contest

Now that the contest is over? Who actually participated? I deifnitely did. I invited my butt off! Although I sent a lot of invites to people who SAID they were interested, only a few accepted. The site DOES sound too good to be true, so some people were a bit iffy about joining.How many people did you invite, and how many accepted?I think I got about 25 people to join out of the 60 I invited.
I invited about 10 people and none of them joined so i just stopped inviting. all of my friends thought it was to good to be true. haha
Wow, if you invited 60 and got 25 to accept than you hit 250 points quick! I participated, but I don't think I got very many people to join. I'm really not entirely sure. This site is great, more people should check it out.

Wow really? I personally messaged A LOT of my friends, and asked them if they were interested, and explained what it was about. I made sure I got a YES from everyone before I sent an invite. Most people overlook that stuff and think all those little invitations are just spam. So I found that messaging and taking the time to explain the concept to them worked better than mass messaging people. I have a CRAAAP load of people on my facebook as well, so I just linked them to my blog, and I got a lot of affiliate link clicks too. I also use Facebook to sell my clothes, and makeup, and there are a lot of groups on facebook for makeup too. So I just asked if anyone was interested, to send me their email to my inbox on FB, and explained to them what it was all about, and left it up to them to accept or not. Some people thought it was too good to be true, and I said, well some things can be true, and it's totally up to your own discretion to join. So I guess I did a good job of inviting.I really do hope I win though. I spent a lot of time inviting people lol it almost felt like a job! But other than that, more so because I love makeup, and I have $104 to my name right now, and I live on my own, so my makeup habit has been put on a MAJOR PAUSE since I've moved in. Im still waiting on my student loan and scholarships to come through. Its kind of depressing, because Im on beauty ticket and Im thinking about my maxed out credit card from books and stuff, and I cant order a single thing!Regardless if I win or not, Im just excited to see who won! Even if it ISNT me! Because I get so excited when things like this go on, and I always feel happy for the winner. And Meg is just amazing for doing something like this! Any word on when the winner will be announced?! I cannot wait!
I messaged and talked to a lot of people about it, invited a few, and I think only one accepted :( I did try though!
Wow, and I thought I didnt invite that many people!I checked some of their profiles though, some I couldnt access, and some didnt even post or do anything on it. I really hope that they start to use the site, they dont know what theyre missing!

wow! 25 people is a lot!!! congrats! :) only one person i send the invite to joined lol, i've noticed that a lot of the people who asked me for an invite didn't join through the link i sent them :( oh well.

I was really afraid to invite a lot of people because they might be just in it for the prize packs. Anyway, I'm excited to see who won!
Huh??! how did i miss this i come on this site everyday?! anywho goodluck to anyone who worked hard at it! whats the prize? yeah when i first signed up to megs loads of people wanted invites so i sent them and only like 5 of them joined! lol well as you said pr3ttynihkee thay dont know what they are missing!
