Fragrance Poll
I am a perfumaniac- 20 bottles currently, and many more given away to grateful friends:). This forum is kinda slow, so let's take a poll:1. Current fave summer scent/s and why- Escada Sunset Heat and Rockin Rio together, juicy mango cocktail works wonders during 90 degree weather (not so much during colder times).2. New fragrance I like- Prada Infusion D'Iris. I love iris flower but never found a nice scent, this Prada may be the one! Soft and a bit powdery....3. Fragrance Disappointment- Nina by Nina Ricci. Oh I loved the fragrance strip in a magazine- a sharp juicy apple but unlike tart DKNY Be Delicious, it promised to be a sweet apple. New Fragrance I likeLemon EDT by CO Bigelow. I tried it on again at Bath & Body Works and I'm hooked. I haven't bought it yet, but I need to buy it :) It's the lemony scent, in my opinion, and it doesn't smell like household cleanser! It'll be good for summer too!3. i am in love with karmala by mark. i use the scent and body lotion when i want to impress...i recently moved and lost my bottle of spray though :( now i have to wait until they sell it again. in the mean time i will make do with other favorites, like pink by victoria secrets :)

and I really loved the concept for Nina Ricci - a sweet juicy red apple, but on my skin it is nothing but sugar. But we all have different chemistry- so I hope it turns out better on you
oh, Red_Velvet - you listed 2 of my favorites- I love J'adore, though i get bored with it sometimes, and Pure Poison has a very delicate jasmine scent i love!
jaccijo12 - i tried Pink by VS but it wasnt too long-lasting or distinctive on my skin. but it is a really nice fresh fragrance on one of my friends
faith--definitely try Lemon then!! I don't know why I love lemon scents so much... not very "sexy" or appealing to others necessarily. I'll try to get a tester of Nina Ricci so I can see how it reacts with my skin... Thanks for the info, though!

My current favorite is Cannibis Rose by Fresh. I don't know why I love it but I do. I am also back into Maybe Baby by Benefit. And have been using Beautiful Love by Estee Lauder a lot this spring. I am fickle and change fragrances nearly daily.
I wore "Angel" for @ 15 years and have now become a total "scent ho'" LOL! Nothing is above or below me when it comes to smellin' good!Summer fav: Tea Rose by Perfumers Workshop...yep,that ol' one.I gets stopped constantly because it just smells so girly n' good! New Fav: The one by Lolota Lempika in the amazing green bottle with starfish on it,her names are confusing but it's her latest,not the apple-bottled one.Smells like sex on the beach to me. :)Dissappointment:Would have to be the "Dove Burst" body spray in nectarine something,I though it'd be "good" for a cool off after the gym but it isn't good or fruity.
bluedevilkitty- Ulta stores usually have tester of Nina out... and there is a new version of Nina perfume, not sure but maybe it is a summer version, it has the same name but bottle color is different
hey makeupper :) I love Flowerbomb too, and i dont even care for patchouli usually.... If you like scents similar, try Prada (the first version in pink box)- very similar patchouli scent... But i confess, i like Flowerbomb better.
i have yet to find celebrity fragrance i like.... but I know that Fantasy by BS smells soo good on some girls, just not me.
agrimony- Cannabis Rose? sounds very intriguing what does it smell like? I am looking for a light rose scent, but Stella was too heavy on me...
hey mjsred- Lolita Lempicka always has fanciest bottles and most delicious scents. I have the original and it smells amazing during cold winters... I want to buy L (that is the one you have) but so far havent found a good deal.... You may like the original as well. Angel was too rich and sweet for me, but my mom and younger sisters totally love it.

Oh ladies, you will LOVE it! I get alot of compliments when I wear it. Maybe it's the cannabis? lol. You can buy it at Sephora or a Fresh store (if you are lucky enough to have one closeby). I bought a set (eau de toilette, lotion and body wash) for around $45 a year ago.
The next time that I make it to a Sephora I will ask for a sample of this. You have all convinced me to give it a try! It sounds delicious!!
wow, it sounds really nice and you got quite a few people excited here, lol. i am gonna try to test it in Sephora, and if anyone else does, please tell the rest of us too! Pomegranate flower is one of the ingredients i am curious about too, if you want to sell me anything - put "pomegranate" as one of the ingredients :)

All of my favorite scents are older. My all time favorite is Chanel's Coco, but I also love #19 and Chance. Donna Karan's Chaos, Armani's original Gio, Angel, Chloe Narcisse and Casmir are a few more of my favorites. I also like quite a few scents made by Guerlain, Champs Elysees and Samsara to name a couple. There are so many fragrances past and present, produced by fabulous fashion houses, I can't imagine buying a scent made by the celebrity of the week.

1. Current fave summer scent/s and why: Well, my all time favorite perfume in general is Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs. It's the perfect floral in my opinion. 2. New Fragrance I like: DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom, I guess this isn't really all that new anymore, but I do love it. It's another great fruity floral scent. 3. Fragrance Disappointment: Dior Addict. I got it as a gift and thought that it was going to be fantastic. Instead on me, it smells a little "old lady". Too spicy. Too oriental. Totally not my style!

Fresh Cannabis Rose and Lavanila Vanilla Coconut. I use Vanilla Grapefruit in the winter so my mind won't let me use it as a summer scent, haha. I've been meaning to try Pucci Vivara and Marc Jacobs Cucumber.Fragrance disappointment? This isn't very new but Aquolina Pink Sugar just didn't cut it for me. The little sample I got from Sephora was fantastic but for some reason the rollerball smelled different.

indy great advice! and if you like guerlains- have you tried L'Instant or L'instant Magic? I love the way L'Instant smells on my friend- honey and citrus, and extremely sophisticated magnolia.... On me it is mostly honey:( I would love to know your thoughts on these, if you tried them
kate2004rock thanks for reminding me of Bvlgari, i love Omnia Crystalline, though i cannot smell it on me...And i agree about Escada, but they are my cheap guilty pleasure for summmer when temp is over 90
himekosorano Chance is my favorite forever!!!! You must try it and I hope you love it- it smells very different during summer or winter.... Top note is citrus and middle is jasmine- sillage is great, people at school used to tell me they knew I passed in the hall as the scent remained :) Viole Jasmine- great office scent- quiet powdery jasmine, very business woman :)Angel- it chokes me... as well as Aquolinas.

lulu- Gucci I? such a unique smokey scent, i cannot wear it but i appreciate the genius that created it. I am a fan of more "pop" Gucci II- smells like tart raspberries on ice :) Delicious and I love wearing it during rain...

My faves.1. Mac - MV2 ( Think that's the one) Its has vanilla and musk in it and every time I wear it I get compliments. A lot of times I go to buy it at Mac especially at Christmas and they are sold out. 2. Lolitta Lempikka- Light blue antique bottle ( Love the scent of vanilla...smells like baked cookies....Yum!)3.Victoria Secret- Love spell. I bought this after smelling someone and having to ask what the scent was. It's such a steal and yet such a beautiful smell. Smells fresh....like summer.3. D&G Light Blue. So unique and of course vanilla my favorite smell.4. Gap- Old scent from years ago. Just came out again. Grass. Smells like you guessed it, fresh cut grass.

artcandy - Lolita is my favorite- are talking about apple shaped one? I am not a big vanilla fan at all, but I enjoy this gourmand scent during cold weather.Love the Love Spell and Light blue too, but I dont get any vanilla there, just citrus
The one I love in Lolita is the L one. Smells like cinnamon, bitter orange, woods, musk and of course vanilla. Also reminds me of angel but not as harsh. ( I love that scent but can't wear it as to strong on me.)Victoria secret doesnt have vanilla in it but it reminds me of fruity pink bubblegum. D & G Light blue has basil, tangerine, orange flowers and vanilla. Looking at all my perfumes you can tell I love the ones that you could eat! lol.Artcandy

All-time favorite is Chanel Cristalle - really wish they'd put some work into getting others to discover it. It's crisp, clean, just yummy.Favorite every day is The Healing Garden White Tea. I mix it 50/50 with purified water and spray it on whenever I like.
I am wearing Stella today. I also like Bucheron, mat, Chanel and so many others.I feel like certain perfumes have certain memories from different phases in life.

Faith24, I just got my Nina Ricci perfume in the mail a few days ago. I like it a lot! It smells just musky enough on me (although lately I feel lik everything smells musky on me?) It does smell like sugar though :) I like it a lot... sorry it didn't work out for you!
