clip in hair extensions

My hair is fairly short so I wanted to purchase some hair extensions. I know that remy human hair is the best out there but I was wondering if anyone knows if Indian remy or european remy is more desirable. Which one would last longer/ having better quality?

I would get them done professionally, and forget about the clip in ones, because no matter how you try, they are always easy to spot as fake. But I have seen some amazing extensions done professionally.
I own hair extention in clips and they never fell ! I love them ( I am wearing some in my avi )it's so much better than the keratine one cause the clips dont kill your hair !!I made mine myself for about 35 eurosI go to african shop I ask for natural hair ( dont care about the brand I just want them natural)and I bought on ebay the clips 17 euros the box of 100and I sew the clips on the hair and VOILAI have mine since 2 years I can curl them wash them !!!and nobody notice them even my FIANCé !

I make my own clip-ins & it's super cheap. A pack of human hair usually costs me between $20-$25 (i usually get 18") & the clips are pretty cheap as well. I double-up the weft and sew the clips on, it's super easy and doesn't take too long (it may you're first time). As long as you tease your hair where you will be inserting the clip, the pieces are secure, I have slept in them millions of times and they are still in place for the next day. I would honestly not recommend getting them sewn or glued into your own hair, it is a killer for your natural hair & causes so much breakage. I am a hairdresser & although we offer hair extension placement at my salon, I ALWAYS recommend clip-ins over attaching them to your own hair!!
I forgot to add that my human hair extensions usually last a few years (although I only wear them when I go OUT out). As long as they are taken care of they will definitely last you a good amount of time. i hang mine on a hanger inside plastic (like they do at dry cleaners) when i'm not using them, and wash them as they need it.
EXACTLY MEGAN same for me =) they last me for EVER since you dont damaged them washing it or brushing it as often as real extensions !

wow, i thought that was your real hair, so pretty
Chloe I didn't know you had extensions !!!!
I am going to make my own. thanks for the tips. I recently bought the Jessica Simpson clip on extenstions. The one piece kind. What a mistake! It won't stay in unless I really tease my hair. The ends stick out from my head, and it keeps sliding down. One good thing about it. I didn't spend too much money on it. It was 50% off at the place I got it. Now I know why.P.S. Cloe, great hair!
Megan and Chloe..where did you buy your human hair from? $20-$25 is amazing!I have never used hair extensions but my friend Kendall swears by Remi. She only buys the Indian and her hair is just gorgeous!
I would like to know where you find the human hair too and where to buy the clips also. You guys should do a DIY video to show how to make them yourselves! I'm making a big trip in November and I would love to have something like this to fix my hair in a pinch

I've been looking at those, good to know it's not worth it.

Sorry for responding like 10 years later! I get my human hair at beauty supplies (ones that carry wigs). I wouldn't go to Sally's to purchase the hair because you will spend a TON more. I think they're cheapest pack of human hair is like $60-$70. I'm not sure where you are from, but you can google beauty supplies or wig stores in your area! & the employees are always really helpful in those types of stores, because it can be truly overwhelming if you don't know what you're looking for. Another option is Ebay! I have definitely purchased some quality human hair on ebay, you just have to be sure to research the seller (check out the feedback) to be sure you are getting human hair!
I love clip in extensions, because you can do some many different things to your hair with them! Also, when you get bored of them you can just un-clip them and have a 'short hair day' like I say.:) x
