Apple Cider Vinegar

I'm just trying to get some clarification on how to use Apple Cider Vinegar in your hair. So I'm reading that its used as a rinse, but how often? For how long? And do you wash after you put it in to get rid of the smell? I'm seeing a lot of "recipes" on what to mix with the vinegar but not really directions on use. Help!!

Did you try searching for it on here? There was a whole article about it maybe a month ago that was really informative.

I searched for it and looked at the results but I didn't find how to use it. Maybe I'm missing it...

If my hair and scalp has been acting up I mix 60 ml ACV with around 1 litre of water. This I pour into my hair slowly, after shampooing and conditioning as a final rinse. I do rinse with lukewarm, bordering on cold water to get rid of the smell. This helps close the follicles properly, making the hair smoother, and of some reason works to stabilise my sensitive scalp.
I can't find it now either. :( I tried it once or twice though and loved the results. I just put maybe a cup of it in a plastic drinking glass and mixed it with about a cup of water. Poured it over my hair after I was done washing/conditioning it. Made my hair feel really soft and free of all that styling gunk that can build up.

I keep meaning to buy apple cider vinegar and forgetting i here so many uses for it-i want to try it as atoner but this post has made we want to use it in my hair too! i will update here when i have used it! =)
hmm..I've never used ACV in my hair before! I use it as a toner and it works great for my acne prone skin. I just HATE the way it smells!! I think I'll give it a try in my hair though, I would imagine that you would just dilute it with water or maybe even jojoba oil or something and leave it on for 15 mins. or so??
OOOH, i've never tried that. Beer does your hair well if you use it to rinse your hair, no joke!
I have never tried this before :) I am going to have try this!
just reading this and noticed i wrote here instead of hear! dope!
ACV is great for sealing the hair cuticle, which slows color fading, and if you have curly hair, or frizzy hair, it prevents frizz, and makes hair shinier.I do an ACV rinse once a week. I mix 1tbsp of ACV with 1 cup of water. After I cleanse my hair I pour on the ACV, and then put my deep treatment on top of that. Once my DT has had time to soak in, I rinse it all out. It works wonders on my hair!
