MissRo here! It's one thing to read all of our fabulous product reviews, it's another thing to actually hear from the creator of that product! Well, that is what's happening today with Dr. Dima!

In most of the Western hemisphere it's winter and naturally I think we all look for products that are going to be richer, heavier moisturizers to combat our dry skin. Well, Dr. Dima recently received a question about dry winter skin and what to do. Check it out below!

Every winter my skin gets very, very dry. I’ve tried so many moisturizers but none of them really work and some leave my skin feeling really greasy. Can you please help? Wendy W. in NYC

What a relevant question for this time of year!

BabyLove here!  I have been waiting anxiously for the past two months to post about this body wash and moisturizer, and am so very, very excited that the time has finally come!  I'm betting that the other nine reviewers probably feel the same way, and I'm thrilled to be able to recommend this company since all of their products seem just lovely.  I'm sincerely hoping that you Meg Heads get some traffic to this site, and for those who are "makeup obsessed" spend their weekly allotment at 100% Pure!

When I received the package of Yummy Ice Cream, 2 in 1 wash, I was shocked to see that it was in a 19oz pump.  Equally exciting was the 8oz tube of vanilla moisturizer that was sent along with it.  Talk about bang for your buck!  I go through at least two shampoos and washes a month, but let me assure you that we have used these products everyday since I got them in the mail, and we still have a ton left.  With that being said, I also want to add that not only do my two boys use it, but it has also become the wash of choice for me and my husband.  This wash is definitely a must have for everyone, not just the little ones in your life.

MissRo here and yes, that's the title of Cosminology's cleanser. I am extremely picky about the type of cleanser I use. I have been using Juice Beauty's Green Apple Cleansing Gel for almost a year now and I love it! However, the other day I ran out and honestly I was too lazy to go to Sephora to replenish it. So, I thought perfect timing to try Dr. Dima's cleanser.

I first used their Global Debris Remover Get Cosmically Naked makeup remover to take off all my makeup and then used the cleanser. It's a non-foaming botanical antioxidant wash. It is more of a cream cleanser so it is extremely gentle and really effective for removing debris and impurities without stripping your skin of its moisture. You can either wash off the cleanser or use a cloth to take off the cleanser and then finish by splashing your face with cool water to close your pores. I always use toner no matter what just to make sure all my makeup and dirt is off. It's also a refreshing feeling before putting on moisturizer.

Sweet Polly Purebred probably tried "Pure & True" products just based on their company name alone. Jeanasina here! I got to try the Glow Intensive C Rejuvenating Serum product by Pure & True because Meg loves me and sent it to me! YAY!!!

As I mentioned, my product to try from this lovely company is called GLOW Intensive C Rejuvenating Serum. Doesn't that name itself sound nice? Anything that has the word 'rejuvenating' as part of it's name says to me that there is a possibility of major changes happening in the dastardly skin department! The formula comes in an clean looking white decanter with a silver top which looks quite impressive on your vanity. It stands out as a 'high end' product. Under the cap is a push dispenser which doles out the magic, rose hip, infused with vitamins C & E and several other natural ingredients, product. This serum is structured to revitalize your skin and promote collagen synthesis and lighten hyper pigmentation. All those things are things I have my hand raised up in the air for daily while I shout “Pick me! Pick me! I need those things! I need collagen for droopy skin" and I have hyper pigmentation big time which is another way to say “horrible, unsightly, stupid-for-sun-bathing-like-a-maniac-skin-damage!" Bring it! Slather me up – make it transform! GLOW was easy to use as it's intent is to be a one step treatment that combines the power of a serum and the hydration of a moisturizer. It can be used as an eye treatment and all over the face and neck. For best results you should use it on clean skin morning and night! This means don't put it on immediately after you get home from your mud-wrestling gig.

Sweetassgal here...laughing a little about Meg's description of the women who dress up on Halloween, and I have to say for the most part girlie nailed it!  I, however, am one of those rare creatures who lays in bed at night for weeks prior to All Hallows Eve planning every detail of my costume and salivating over my pending trip to the fabric store for beaded applique and sequined fringe!  Yes, I make my costumes and I LOVE dressing up (minus the tramp girl motif...I'll leave that to the Hollywood starlets trying to get on Extra's Fashion Police list) in the most elaborate costumes I can dream up.  I have not missed, nor have I duplicated a costume in 35 years and I don't intend to. I will be 80 years old, dressing up like Greta Garbo in a silk dressing gown with marabou trim handing out candy to neighbor kids vamping "I want to be left alone!".  But I don't...I want every little witch, goblin and three foot Spiderman within a twenty block radius to stop on by and raid my candy bowl!

For this years costume I went as a Flapper dressed all in black and white.  Not original...I know...but it suited my mood and I was dying to try my hand at a really killer headband.  I spent hours hot gluing satin roses, feathers, rhinestones and sequins to the coolest elastic I could find and I felt like the girliest girl in the world.  And I for one have to say GOD BLESS GOSSIP GIRL for bringing headbands and girlie frill back!  Now that my headpiece was complete I needed really my makeup to POP and turned to my latest offering from Meg to make it happen.  Tarte's Lifted Natural Eye Primer with Firmitol was calling my name and was just the ticket to give my all black and white makeup the kick it needed for some true depth.
