KAI!
Meg here! I was just editing Megken's upcoming "Manly Monday" article and sometimes I just want to reach through the computer and pinch his little cheeks! He cracks me up with his campfire memories from his Grandpa Tar Shampoo. It must be a guy thing because my first thoughts would not be of sweet, nostalgic campfire stories if my head started to smell like pine oil.
I love white flowers. I love gardenias. I love the perfume Fracas and I LOVE the entire Kai scented line. I'm not the only one. In Style Magazine named it "One Of The 5 Great Cult Perfumes." I'm so glad I'm writing this post because Valentine's Day is coming up and I'm out of my Kai Perfume Oil. So if anyone is reading this and wondering what to get me then... What? I included the link! Sometimes it's a heck of a lot better to accidentally send this write up to your boyfriend then risk getting a big bottle of Jean Nate marked half off from CVS bought at 6pm February 14th on the way home from the office. Just sayin'. 
I adore the entire Kai line, they even came out with a candle that would be very romantic to light on Cupid day! If you are unsure about a new scent then I would like to officially endorse the Kai Perfume Oil. It smells like Hawaii (Stylemama just got back from an amazing trip there! Is Stylepapa going to be getting this write-up in his inbox?) Yes, it's not too pushy for me to want to endorse the Kai Perfume Oil. I mean they have Me endorsing them! Wow! Oh wait, never mind it looks like they have a few better choices on their roster- Reese Witherspoon, Naomi Watts, Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron. Kai body butter was named as one of "Oprah's Favorite Things." Rats! I don't think my phone will be ringing anytime soon from Kai corporate.

The Perfume oil is roll on and a little dab will do ya! It lasts a very long time and is perfect for your purse. Even though it is "gardenia" it's not at all grandmotherly. It's island sexy gardenia.
I hope you love it as much as I do and as much as Hollywood's leading ladies!

i'm caught by their packaging.. it's simplicity at it's best!i'm in love with perfume at the moment as well, i've got a whole lot of perfume samples but i hate applying them with a stick! roll on perfume is perfect for my purse and traveling!!! i'm on my way!.. actually, good idea, i'll call my bf first... :D valentine already! i have a feeling this year is gona go faster than last.

I haven't tried it. I am so perfume-ignorant. I use my Issey Miyake whenever I need a lift but that is the only perfume I have ever tried. I love the smell of gardenias though- so appropriate for where I live. South Carolina is gardenia central.
This line sounds wonderful. I had never heard of it, but plan to give it a bit more of my attention.
I LOVE KAI!!!!! I had the pleasure of smelling this many years ago at one of the flagship Victoria's Secret stores in Columbus, OH. I shame myself for not buying it everytime that I think of it. I used to live in Columbus before relocating to where I am now. I have not seen Kai since that time in OH. It is a little more difficult to find than I had realized. I know that I can order online, but I keep on putting it off, and trying other perfumes. This stuff is amazing. Oh, Meg! I adore Fracas, too. It's what I wore on my wedding day!
I wore Fracas on my wedding day too! I layered the lotion, sprinkled the powder then topped it off with a few spritzes of Fracas. I got compliments on how "gorgeous" I smelled all night. It is very romantic. I think Kai is Fracas's more exotic naughtier sister!!
Love Kai! I have the spray Body Glow oil and the body Buffer. There is nothing quite like Kai for that tropical, summer, sexy smell. A little does go a long way. The perfume oil lasted me for a year at least.Love it

I do not like gardenia, but the mention of Jean Nate sent me to the floor laughing. You know someone truly hates you when this is their gift to you. I have seen Kai at CVS and it truly is a far more upscale packaging and apprently quality then you would expect to find. But back to Jean Nate - you are killing me.

I adore KAI and anything gardenia as well! I saw a dusty-ass bottle of Jovans "Jungle Gardenia" on a Walmart shelf the other day and about dropped!It's actually pretty decent :)Chanel did a limited edition as well but I'm with Meg: you cannot beat Fracas or Kai if you truly want lush! I also adore "Black Gardenia" by Michele Bergman but it's deeper and richer than these floral-sisters of sin.Men go GAGA for gardenias...
Sound gorgeous - I love gardenias! Frankly I'd take take your opinion over Reese, Charlize, Naomi and whatsername anyday! Not that they aren't all lovely, but I'm a Meghead...so maybe KAI should think of giving you a call after all!Btw, I know this is shallow, but what's the worst Valentine' gift any of y'all have ever received? Let me share - I had a bf who used to stock up on gold jewelry on his many overseas trips. Didn't date him for very long - once I realised my 'gifts' and cards were coming out of a 'gift larder' which he bought months in advance, so he had something on 'standby' if needed. Nothing says 'you're special' like a lucky dip bought in bulk supply.

Is there any place to test this scent before we buy it online? I love tropical/coconut scents, so I'm tempted by the line "it smells like Hawaii", but I'm not huge into flowery scents. I suppose I could always buy it, smell it, and give it as a gift if it's not my favorite. P.S. I love the Jean Nate reference...made me laugh!

Wow this sounds amazing....I love the scents or gardenias, honeysuckle, sweetpeas, roses etc.... I have had all of these at one point made into perfumes....I tend to get over the scents quickly though and go back to sweet scents :)i should give this a try though!!!!

Hrm, I'm not a huge fan of Gardenia - my allergies mean I tend to react with huge sneezes and watery eyes to anything even remotely floral. :| That said, I LOVE cocnutty-tropical scents. This might be something I need to try before I buy!
