KORRES! NIGHT CREAM WITH QUERCETIN AND OAK NIGHT CREAM! UPDATE Code MEG for 20% Off and FREE DAY CREAM!

OAKSweetassgal is back in the real world after a full week of riding and roaring in the high desert.  I'm talking 60 degrees in the day and 20 degrees at night and that's without the wind chill!  Yes it was cold and fierce and gave me the BEST conditions to try out skin products while zipping around the sand dunes by day and lazing by the fire at night.  I had a great Thanksgiving with my family and an even better time riding with my daughter Samantha.Provost.  She just amazes me.  Seventeen years old and she's got the fire of a young woman with the brains of her father.  She took me over dunes and down steep hills with the ease of a pro and kept her cool the entire time.  Me on the other hand...I screamed liked a little girl in ruffled underpants!

The most obvious choice for my sojourn to the sand was of course the Korres Night Cream with Quercetin and Oak Age Reversing Night Cream.  Though my experimentation went beyond a night treatment.  I used it at night after a long day of riding to refresh my parched skin and again in the morning to protect against the ravages of the day.  It really had its work cut out for it as these are pretty harsh conditions and moisturizing potential was at its zenith.  Every day I tapped into my little pot of Quercetin, Oak Extract, Mourera Fluviatilis, Myrtle Active Extract, Amaranth Lipids, Jojoba, Grape and Pomegranate oil infused moisturizer and set out to see what it would do.

First off I must say this is an intensely moisturizing cream and really puts the moisture back in your skin.  You can feel it instantly quenching dry skin and plumping your dermis.  It's a nice feeling and one I look forward to at night!  During the morning hours I noticed a softening of the fine lines I have around my eyes and the deeper one's that appear next to my nose.  The best part is I didn't wake up with a morning oil slick.  I know this is a face cream but I figured why stop there and I made sure to always hit my neck and decollette'.  There wasn't a marked change in the rings I have in my neck (which I hate!) but I didn't expect it to because I think it will take an act of God, Congress AND Oprah to remove those buggers.  But it is incredibly softening on my chest and does smooth the skin in that area.  All in all I liked it a lot and would recommend this to ladies 30 and up for extra moisturizing, anti-age and anti-wrinkle properties.  Though I believe it's never too early to treat your skin well, I would tell our younger crowd to find a great lighter cream to keep your skin young and lovely and invest in a really good cream like this when your skin starts transitioning from well balanced and dewey to showing the beginning signs of aging and needing a little extra help in the moisturizing department.  At 35 I'd happily spend $52 a jar to keep my skin looking the best it can and protect it from any future damage.

Korres is no slouch in the skincare department.  Direct from their website they were established in 1996, out of Greece's oldest homeopathic pharmacy, KORRES today offers advanced natural formulations that deliver maximum results. The active natural extracts used in the formulas ensure enhanced product performance, bringing you clinically proven, advanced skincare benefits, while also avoiding harmful synthetic compounds, to ensure maximum skin compatibility and environmentally- conscious products.  I'm often drawn to their products in Sephora and the best part is, if you ask, they ALWAYS give you a generous sample to try.  There is LOTS in this line to try, and I know that my friends all LOVE their pomegranate products (and we're talking some picky bitches here!) so I'm confident to say that the Korres Night Cream with Quercetin and Oak Age Reversing Night Cream stacks up well with those beloved products.

Well folks in Megsmakeupland...it's way past my bedtime and I've got a weeks worth of camping sleep to catch up on.  I'm heading upstairs to do my nightly routine and finish off with my Korres night cream.  Here's praying to the Ghost of Wrinkles Past that a few more weeks of this lovely cream will banish them to the badlands where they belong.  GLAM ON!!!

The only Korres products I currently own are some lip butters I got a trio of recently, but I'm really loving them!  They really do melt onto the lips like butter.  Based on them, I'd love to try more from the brand.  Thanks for the great review!

Love, love, love this night cream! I've been using it for over a month now and see a absolute difference in my skin the moment I put it on and upon waking up. Only problem, is it has a distinct play-dough smell to it,... If you get past that -- this is a keeper!  Tried a sample of this in the day cream spf version, I think it would be fine for a windy or wintery day since it is a little thick, but not for everyday use.

In the cold, harsh winter months here in Sweden I always transition to a slightly thicker cream even if I am not even halfway through my twenties yet. The weather is just so drying!Anyhow, I'm waiting for a few samples from Korres and cross my fingers that this will be along them (if I had only know a few days ago, I would have requested this especially) because I am looking for a slightly thicker, natural cream at the moment as a compliment to my usual routine when needed.

I recently bought Trilogy Energising Face lotion. I've been using for about a month now. It's really good. It moisturizes well, it was affordable for the amount of product you get for the price. I haven't had any bad reactions or breakouts (I have very sensitive skin). I use it mainly as a night cream, it's a bit too heavy for me as a day cream. I have an oily t zone, so this lotion doesn't really help with that. Also it's all natural, so no nasty ingredients. I bought it from feelunique.com. Trilogy has a few different face lotions. This was the lightest one, but it is really moisturizing for being a light moisturizer.

I received this Korres night cream from Meg -- and I must admit that I am pretty crazy about it.  Yes, you must get past the playdoh smell.  As a mom of a 2 year old, it is a very familiar smell, so it doesn't bother me at all.  It goes on pretty thick and takes a while to absorb.  But, it leaves my dry sensitive skin soft and smooth.  My skin feels so nice and soft in the morning.  It doesn't leave an oily residue like other night creams I have used.  I am not sure if it has had any effect on my fine lines after 2 weeks of use.  I will need to give it some more time to see.

I got a FULL size jar of this cream from Meg (and co.) when I redeemed my points and I love it!!! What I like is that it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't feel slick and heavy. My skin has begun to get a little dry with the change in season and this cream works really well on my dry patches. I even put it on any dry patches on my face in the morning before I put on my makeup. Love this stuff!

So, I  just polished off the jar of Oil of Olay Regenerist night treatment that I really liked and was planning to zip over to TarJJJJJJJJAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY today to get some more.  Then I read this.  Then I go to the website and there is a 20% off sale and FREE SHIPPING!  And it is sold out.  Who took my jar?  Now I have to go running all over the internet to find some more.  This could take seconds.

OK...new version of an old song ready to sprout forth here...take it people..."Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree...” in this case the new words would be “Tie a yellow ribbon round my new oak cream treated face!” That's right – I'm officially a fan of Guercetin & OAK Antiwrinkle Night Cream! When I first saw the word “Oak” as part of the descriptive words used to describe the ingredients in this new Korres cream “Regenerative Oak Extract” I thought “Wow! Now there is an ingredient no other products have used before!”
When I opened the jar and checked the cream the first time, I also noticed that it had a bit of an unusual fragrance. I have read several comments stating that this cream's smell reminds one somewhat of play-doh; I can see where they get that but it definitely wasn't off putting to me. It just might mean that little children will be inclined to follow me around when I'm out and about and want me to play with them! I see that as a good thing, especially since I'm a grandma! But really, the fragrance dissipates in my opinion quickly. My thoughts were that it was earthy smelling and being a gardener I like earthy fragrances! I enjoyed the fragrance!
The texture of this cream is really nice, I love how it feels when I apply it to my face and feel it sinking in. The word HYDRATION comes to my mind big time every time I apply it! I wondered how my entire body would feel if it came in an industrial sized jar for all over body use! I love products that ease the discomfort of my dry skin. This cream sure gave my face an extreme enjoyment factor! In the morning, the biggest thing I noticed was that my skin was super smooth! What I really liked was that long after I put on one thin layer of this I could still feel it so I didn't feel a compulsive need to apply even more to get good results! Because it's so rich and potent with excellent ingredients and the fact that you don't need much to get results, this lovely little jar will last you for quite some time!
Now the question is, after trying this product courtesy of Meg, did this product impress me enough that I would pay $52.00 to purchase this product again on my own? I would! When I checked the link here for Korresusa.com they were SOLD OUT of this product! I checked to see if it is an option to order this product on Sephora's website and it IS! Not only is it an option, but ladies, I'm not the only one out there who thinks this is an excellent product! There are 131 reviews of this on Sephora's website – lots & lots of other women are pleased with the results too! This night cream really does some wonderful things to your skin!

Wonderful review and glad you had fun! Ruffled undies aren't so bad sometimes,LOL! I am a fan of the Korres line: their lippys are amazing and the company and ingredients are top-shelf.I received this cream and couldn't wait to give it a try,it has that 'rich girl/good stuff" quality and I liked the scent.Unfortunately,it didn't like me.After one night of wearing it to bed,I woke up with tiny itchy-red bumps and it's just not their fault,I have THE world's most sensitive skin....sooooo....I gave it to Mike to use.I got him the Korres "Marigold and Ginsing" aftershave balm for Halloween and he raved about it.After using the night cream for a couple of weeks,JUST this am,he commented that "he really loved the stuff and really saw and felt a difference!!!" I'm so thrilled he's using what I leave out for him,it's just getting him into a "good habit":) So not to worry,I give it a HUGE thumbs-up and will be re-stocking him although it's for me personally. trust me,for him to comment is huge. :)

I've never tried this, but I looove Korres lip butters. They're one of my all time favorite lip balms/glosses. I have their Rose concealer and I love that too. I also have 2 or 3 of their eye shadows which are nice - they're nicely pigmented. The only thing that I've tried from Korres which I didn't love was their silicon free primer. It seemed to melt off my face pretty quickly. I also tried their wild rose moisturizer which was just a little bit too much for me. My skin tends to be on the oily side and while the cream was fantastic, it just made me a little bit too greasy.

Good to have you back Sweetassgal!  I've never tried this cream but I love the pomegranate make up remover wipes.  They must have the perfect pH balance, because your skin doesn't need any moisturizer post-use, not too dry, not too oil-perfect! (I know, I've said it before but they really are that good.)  My sister uses a regimen from this line and she is very happy with it.

I hope to get some of this night creme soon.  I love Korres products.  I've used the wild rose moisturizer (very nice), mascara (nice for everyday, nothing dramatic), and my fave - the lip butters!  I have the lip butter in Pomegranate - the color looks a little funny (orangey) in the pot, but looks great on, much more subtle than you'd think.  And oh... it feels so smooth and silky on my lips.

I haven't had a good run with Korres.  Their Almond Meal scrub smelled like mildew and had a thin consistency--it made my face red but didn't exfoliate, while the Honey Moisture Binding face mask was also of a thin, lotion consistency and it didn't do any of the things it claimed--improve my skin texture, tone or moisturize.

I'm going to try this, I am always looking for something to put on over my retin-a at night. I have the korres lip butter trio, which I love, and I got one of their mascaras as a deluxe sample from sephora. I was very impressed by it, because sometimes products that are marketed as natural are not as effective as ones that are marketed based on their efficacy. I also got a sample of their "wild rose" foundation, which I actually didn't like so much, but mainly because the color match wasn't good. Oh, and their shower gels are amazing, I used one while house-sitting for a friend, it was sitting in the shower so I gave it a try, and I loved it!

I keep reading about this brand and the more i read the more i like :) Being from Eastern Europe I like that this Greek based brand uses all the natural ingredients we commonly use for homemade masks (yogurt, honey, rose water, etc). Ladies, make sure to check out your TJ Maxx- last time I was there I found quite a selection of low priced Korres skincare and body washes. I dont think this particular cream was there, but next time I go to TJ Maxx I will be sure to grab some Korres products

My mum has this night cream, I like how it leaves your skin nice and soft but I think it's too expensive.
