SEAL YOUR SKIN WITH DR. DIMA'S GALACTIC GLOVE SERUM
MissRo here! In the land of skin care, there are women who prefer using only a couple of products. Whereas in places like Japan, they have a very specific cleansing process, especially at night and can use several products. My regimen is the same morning and night. I use a cleanser, eye cream, and day cream with SPF and then at night I cleanse, use my eye cream, and then put on night cream. It's been that way for a while.
I have, every now and again, used a serum, but I'm so used to my three product regimen, that I never really stick to using it. When I was checking out Dr. Dima's Galactic Glove serum, I was quite surprised that they suggested you put it on after their SPF day cream. I don't mind layering at night to give my skin the treament it needs while I sleep, but not too keen on it during the day. Regardless, I gave it a try.
I wore it a couple of days without makeup and a couple of days with makeup. For me the biggest test was putting on makeup and see how it lasted throughout the day. It honestly had the same effect as those primers you use before putting makeup on. At least this serum actually benefits your skin, while the primers are usually an extra layer of nothing.
The key ingredients in this product are ceramides, vitamin E and vitamin F. Ceramides are lipids that rebuild your skin barrier and form a hydrating seal over the skin to prevent moisture-loss and play a key role in maintaining the firmness of skin. Vitamin E is a powerful natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, and provides skin protection from environmental pollution, stress, and photo aging. Vitamin F is an essential fatty acid that is not naturally produced by the body, but is vital for healthy skin.
The overall benefits of this product is increased skin radiance, vibrancy, and hydration. It will help clear pores and prevent less acne breakouts. It will also decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and we can never get enough of that. Finally, it will provide a fabulous base for your makeup application.
Now, I'm not going to lie, this product is slightly pricey, but all serums are because of the quality of their ingredients. However, a little goes a long way and at the end of the day, it's about investing in you, so you look good and feel good too.
What is your cleansing regimen like? Is it the same for day and night? Are you currently using a serum, if so which one?

I only briefly checked thier website before-im off for a good ole browse (and maybe a good ole splurge!!!) ;)
lol... i was thinking the same too. I associate glove with hands
I have the same regimen as well, MissRo, Cleanse, moisturize and eye creme day and night, but I do live a good serum. My fave is REN Omega 3 Overnight Lipid Renewal Serum but Ole Henriksen Truth Serum is okay.

I use diferent things for night and day (is this an Asian thing?? hehe). At night, I'll use a cleansing oil (I'd used Shu Uemura, SKII, Fancl and the latest one is Silk Naturals's Apricot cleansing oil) to remove makeup, sometimes I'd double-cleanse with a foam cleanser, sometimes I don't. I use the foam cleanser in the morning. I use a different serum for day & night cos I have too many. Night: Silk Naturals Facelift serum; day: SN's Super Serum. Sometimes I layer with a green tea/aloe vera serum or oatmeal serum. I'm pretty intrigued by this serum -- can it only be used with Dr. Dima's products?
Great review MissRoro, this is a product I would buy cause I really love serums and face creams and the fact this act like a primer too make it even more special.I wash my face every before going to sleep with the Lush Coalface cleanser and I put Murad Active Radiance serum (I got it from Meg and I am using it everyday days and nights since).in the moring I just put water on my face and again put the Murad serum on it dries very fast and make my skin feel and look flawless I really love it !

OK I'm not sure if this is too much. Should I simplify?Morning:No cleanser (unless i have breakouts!). Mario Badescu Aloe vera Toner (I got it for its container so I can put a DIY toner inside)/Pampers Baby Wipes (it's basically the same as those Olay or Ponds Cleansing Wipes only cheaper). And Olay Complete SPF 15 moisturizer!NIGHT: Extra virgin olive oil/Johnson's Baby Oil for taking off eye makeup.Philosophy Purity (HG!)Mario Badescu Aloe vera Toner/Pampers Baby Wipes Both are good for taking off the last traces of makeup. Philosophy Purity actually gets it all off, but I like to be 110% sure, ya know? And moisturizer of course :D--I add Noxzema Blackhead Salicylic Acid Cleanser (its has such gentle exfoliating beads!) maybe twice a week. If my skin is actually clear, I use St. Ives Firm & Renew Apricot Scrub once a week.So no serums for now!
I actually thought it was for the hands too! I really don't use serums, but I have tried the one from Lisa Hoffman. I've used her Vitamin A & C serum. Feels nice on the skin but I haven't used it long enough to see any significant results. I am more concerned with my acne right now so I'm on Proactiv.
HOORAY!! Another Dr Dima, YES, Ladies, I got a sample of this too. IT IS AMAZING!! Not greasyor heavy. Very nice feel to it. I ordered her compact. I was looking for something on EBay, I found "minacles" I thought, what the Heck is a minacle, thought someone spelled miracle wrong. I saw the name "Dr Dima" and decided to check it out. Ladies, I have used a lot of mineral make up. I think a lot of the products are great, however, this wears like bare, skinn,EDM,etc.. BUT not messy, it is in a compact with a mirror. It doesn't have an applicator, but, it does wear beautiful with a kabuki brush. No applicator is my only issue bc then I have to bring one. Its ok tho. When I got my make up there was a whole bag of samples.Galactic glove (at 1st thought it was for my hands LOL) was 1 of them, i used it and I LOVE it. The small sample looked like sewing machine oil! It wears light and airy, combine it with Dr D's Fault Line Defender and WOW, primer that is GOOD for your skin. You Rock Miss Ro. Thank you for bringing Dr Dima to Megs.
Ohh cool(: This product looks awesome, I'm going to have to try it on my skin(:
I usually clean my face at the morning and apply a tonic and a moisturizer before my makeup. At night I only clean my face with makeup remover to remove all traces of makeup.
I'm so lazy with my skin, except for wearing SPF and washing morning and night, that's all I do. I know I should be more concerned with aging but I just don't find the extra money or time!!

I was never a fan of serum, but I'm loving the Murad C serum Meg sent me. I can really see an improvement in my skin.
I've never heard of a serum that's applied over moisturiser, it's an interesting idea. I currently use a serum, I find that it helps keep my skin hydrated. In fact I couldn't imagine not using a serum.

Yea Miss Ro! All these reviews of Dr. Dimas products are so great! I love everything that I've read about her and her products. I really want to add every single Cosminology product to my shopping cart... but thats as far as the dream gets because the grand total put me in cardiac arrest! One product at a time and I think this will be the first one. Thanks

I've tried some serums in the past but I am trying out a pretty simple routine now that doesn't include one, and I may add one in later. This one looks very nice. :) I am using mostly Garden of Wisdom products and my skin is starting to really improve, with clearer skin and fine lines fading. I cleanse with Purity made Simple (and will try out a GOW one when I use this up) then I spray with a GOW rose hydrosol which smells wonderful, and apply a GOW natural moisturizer at night and use Oil of Olay moisturizer with SPF 15 in the morning. Then I exfoliate every other night with a GOW AHA product or BHA product. So far so good!
I've never been a serum fan, but if this has the same effect as a primer, I may be interested. Thanks for a great review
My cleansing regimen consists of pHisoderm gel cleanser and my Clarisonic day and night. I use the Murad vitamin C serum I got from Meg in the mornings (it's great!), and a Lancome Collaser serum at night.
The reason Galactic Glove feels like a primer is it's full of all those nasty 'cones that smooth your skin in a primer. They just float above your skin, filling pores, wrinkles, etc.. and aren't good for you. For a company that touts all their natural ingredients, Dr. Dima's sure doesn't care about what isn't natural that goes into their products! Their overpriced also!
I use a cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and eye cream every day, with different moisturizers and eye creams for morning and evening. My favorite serum at the time is Matis Intensive Purifying Serum (or something like that), it's had the most effect of the ones I've tried.
My skincare regime is different morning and night. I usually just use a gentle soap bar and moisturize then put on my makeup. At night I remove my makeup and use a cleanser and then moisturize. This was a suggestion from my mom's derm so I figure he knows what hes talking about!
I usually just use whatever facial cleanser I recently bought, since I tend to switch products a lot, and then moisturize. I haven't started using eye creams yet, and I occasionally use the Dermadoctor serum that I got in the mail from Meg (thanks Meg!), but other than that my routine is fairly simple.
I usually do the same routine morning & night just swapping my SPF moisturiser for a non-spft moisturiser at night. At the moment I don't use a serum and don't see myself using one for another 8 or so years. I'd probably invest in one like this, especially if it can double as a primer! Sounds great.
My cleansing regimen is different for day and night too (and I'm Asian!). I primarily use Neutrogena's Stress control line. In the morning, I use a Neutrogena Healthy Skin moisturizer after using the 3 in 1 Stress control acne treatment and GOW's sebum control serum. At night, I just apply a mix of Vitamin E oil and Jojoba oil for moisturizer after I was my face. I also use the vitamin E oil to remove my eye makeup. I try to simplify my routine, then something new catches my eye and it gets more complicated again!
I don't use a 'serum' per say, but I do use a few drops of pure rosehip oil on my face every morning and every night. It's cheap and really smooths my skin. It instantly feels softer and plumps out any lines or wrinkles, and I have noticed it reduces any discolorations and even prevents break-outs!! This is a minor miracle considering I have oily skin!
Serums always make me think 'oily'. This one sounds like it's not. I don't use foundation or primer, I don't like feeling 'heavy' throughout the day. This might be a good alternative then, if it keeps your skin smooth and the small amount of makeup I do wear on.
I have been back and forth on serums, too, but I think I like them. I believe that they are meant to deliver ingredients in a more potent form than a moisturizer can. Even if that's not true, they allow the addition of more things in my regimen without extra heavy layers on my face.Currently:MORNING-glycolic cleanse, serum, moisturizer w/ SPF, eye cream w/ SPF. I use a toner spray to help my moisturizer spread and sink in better. If I have dry patches, I use Josie Maran's Argan Oil Moisturizing Stick on those.NIGHT-oil cleanse, glycolic cleanse, retinol, moisturizer, argan moisturizing stick, something for my eyes.I use a scrub, and sometimes a mask a couple of times during the week.
In the mornings I usually cleanse, sometime I just use a toner. Then I put on a facial moisturizing self tanner I use bronze goddess by estee lauder. Since my skin is oily I usually skip the actual moisturizer part since the self tanner is moisturizing. The I out on my mineral makeup. Currently EDM.No primer most the time. I use their kaolin powder as a oil absorbing base. I need to find a good primer that wont produce ANY excess oil.At night, it remove makeup. Sometimes cleanse sometimes just toner again. And I use the night recovery serum and time zone night cream from estee lauder. But I use serum BEFORE night cream... should I be doing it the other way around???
Tan is Love
My cleansing routine is usually just a complexion soap followed by toner and moisturizer. I really, really need to add an eye cream into the mix but I just haven't really had time to research into which one I want to use--gotta get on that!!
It depends. I rotate between. -Biore Skin Preservation Cleanser-Biore Skin Preservation Moisturizer-Dove SPF15 Moisturier-Oxy Page-Purpose Soap-Biore blemish fighting ice cleanser-Biore shine control acne wash
this product sounds promising. i like serums and creams as well so i'm sure this line would provide a good outcome.
i don't apply serum in the morning i'm too late lol but every night before go to bed i have my little serum for my eyes ...
I also don't like to pile on the skin care products in the day. My day regimen is very small. I wipe my face with a cleansing wipe and apply my Mark lotion with SPF 30. I let that dry and put on my primer and eye cream and that's it.My night regimen is a bit more detailed. I remove my eye make up and then wash my face with an acne wash. I remove any remaining residue with a Lush toner. I put on my eye cream and any acne spot treatment I may need. After all that dries I put on Philosophy's On a Clear Day's retinol cream to help with my pores and acne scars. Finally, right before I go to sleep I put on a moisturizing night cream.
I love anything that can clear my pores and fight wrinkles. I have been fighting both of these battles and most products are only geared toward one thing. It is a bit pricey at $75 but it looks like something you should splurge on. I love every review done for this company and have already racked up a huge wish list of their products.

I'm not using a serum at the moment. I use the Korres Wild Rose moisturizing cream day and night and use Clean and Clear cleanser at night. In the morning though, I just wash my face with water.

I usually cleanse with a Chagrin Valley soap (Chocolate Almond right now) and moisturize - I always forget to use a toner. If I spend all day at home, I only wash my face with water in the evening.
I like how you mentioned the ingredients & then briefly explained each one
this looks amazing! i really want to try this!
