WE LOVE OUR MEGHEADS WHO LOVE THEIR POINTS!
Hello lovely ladies!
This is Eleni, wondering if you feel appreciated enough as Megheads.
I mean, some of you do, because you have turned in your points and then you received a goody bag and, come on, you must have felt rather appreciated and happy about that, right?
But some of you don't, because you have turned in your points and we might have been too busy and not packed your gift yet.
Or me we might have had a bit more to drink and skipped a number? Slim chance. We are extremely functional tipsy packers!
Or maybe your mailman likes mascara more than you do? Yes, that must have been the case.
Point is, it really means a lot to us to keep our Megheads happy.
So we want you to tell us if you think you should have received your gift but still haven't.
But we also want you to tell us if you have received your gift and loved it and why you loved it and if you think it was a good fit for your look and beauty preferences.
You help us become better with your comments and we help you become prettier with our gifts. This is also why in your profiles it helps us if you completely fill them out. We check before we mail each pack what your profile says about you. If you are complaining about frizzy ends then we try to throw in something to help that. If you say you're a gloss junkie then you'll get a gloss. If we notice you're into organic products then don't be surprised to see that you got a natural item. We appreciate you and try hard to be thoughtful like that! That's a fair trade, don't you think?
We are really trying to make everyone happy and we really need your feedback. If you turned your points in a while ago and have not gotten your pack, please email me at eleni@megsmakeup.com so I can go back and see in our notes when it went out.

I recently got my 250+point package and I think it had such fabulous items with a great variety of products I can't wait to try! It's so wonderful for you guys to even be doing this as this blog/forum site is such a great community as is, so to offer gifts to dedicated members is a bonus! I totally agree beautyallthat-by far the best make up review site and online community by af (regardless of points and packages) I havent got mine yet but everyone who has has been sooooo happy with what they were sent, the packages sound really custom made to suit the individual recieving it so thats even more of a bonus (and pretty amazing!):)

I redeemed my points twice I got both of the packagings and I LOVE WHAT I GOT !!!! it was TOTALLY METhe first time I tought i was luck cause everything I got was exactly what I would have bought (if I had the budget lol) but the second was as good and "ME" as the first one ! This website provides intricate reviews and sets upon a great community of ladies, i think whether or not we did receive gifts i'd still participate.. but having a wonderful team who post custom goodies out is a massive bonus on top of a giant chocolate mud cake with strawberries. i received my first package not long ago and was in awe to see all these custom goodies!

I agree with you Is820. This site is awesome as it is but the extra bonus gift is a big fat cherry on top with some whip cream. I just cashed in on Sept 29 so I'm not expecting my package anytime soon. I have been reading the forum for what did you get and I must say that Meg does a great job trying to send products that we would love. Thanks Meg for putting together a wonderful site for all us makeup junkies and then giving us a cherry. You are the kindest and most generous beautiful lady around.

MrsBlacksten, I'm in the same situation. I cashed in on 9/27 but don't expect to get my package right away! As long as it's here within the 60 day timeframe that Meg specified, I won't worry. :)

Ohh you are soo all so wonderful! I'd stilllove to be a Meghead without the fantastic rewards.I really loved my gift - It wasn't what I expected, as if I'd seen them in the store perhaps I wouldn't of purchased them but thats all the fun I think. Trying things you usually wouldnt'! Because now I have three fantastic items which will ALWAYS (if I can get them in Australia) have a place in my beauty bag!

It makes me feel like my opinions are valued.I seriously cannot stop raving about a few of the products I've received, the Murad products, the Klean bath syrup, and the U'valla facial cleanser that my partner has started using too.They've all been wonderful and very nicely thought-out. Thanks, Eleni (and everyone) for caring about us! I got my first 250 pt. prize in about a month and loved a lot of the gifts. Most of all, the Garnier moisturizer and the Stiletto mascara! The only problem was that one of the lip glosses (it was like a yo-yo lip gloss); unfortunately, the protective wrap was ripped off, and the other yo-yo lip gloss actually stung my lips. :(I cashed in for the 150 pt. gift because I'd like to know what it comes with. LOL. Hope it gets here soon~

I got a Klean Kandle and a Maybelline colorscensational lip gloss in plum-tastic for 50points, and I received them 5-6 weeks after turning in my points. I was so happy to see the package that I forgot about my painful feet! I love the l/g, it's not a color that I would normally buy but it turns out nicely on my lips. The candle -- it actually has all my favourite scents in it (how did you guys know?? it's not in my profile!). I just leave the candle uncovered in my room & really loving how the room smells right now.
You guys are awesome, gifts or not.. I cashed in 9/30.. it hasn't been quite a month yet. I think I'm okay :)

I love this site and even without the gifts it would be one of my favorites. The fact that the prizes are personalized makes them even more fun, since you get stuff you actually use. I haven't been able to use a computer for nearly a week now, and I can't believe how much I missed this site, it's so addicting!

I cashed out 250 points on 9-14-09, I haven't gotten my gift yet but everyday I come home and can not wait to check the mailbox. I love this site regardless, it has actually saved me quite a bit of money. I read all of the reviews and info and decide whether or not to spend my hard earned moolah on the product! I hope any info that we as megheads put out helps other megheads to decide and either purchase an awesome product or avoid a dud! Thanks Meg and Eleni and all you great megheads for everything!
i think it's great that Meg&co really try to personalize our gifts. i felt like my gift was perfect. i really like natural products and most of my items were natural so my package was really fun to open! i truly love this website and look forward to checking it throughout the day!

I got my 250 pnt package last week and I loved it!The scent of the solid perfume I got was just amazing. I was so happy when I smelled it. I live on my own, so the candel was a really good addition because my basement gets stuffy at times.
i can't wait until I have enough points for the 250 points pack...I don't think anyone complains about the stuff they get... it's such a greta way to connect people! (:keep up the GREAT work.

You are so sweet! I have cashed out twice - once at 50 points, second at 150. Both were fabulous! I'm now trying to hold out til I hit 250, but I do have a problem with delayed gratification! Anyway, I really noticed how the things I received were things I was likely to love or wanted to try out. I have been on this site for a couple of years, and it just keeps getting better. And I know that Meg's personal notes included with the packages must take up a lot of her time, but please know that we appreciate them. I wouldn't mind if they were sometimes from Eleni or Miss Ro - it's the personal touch that counts. You ladies rock! thank you so much.

I received my first points pack a few weeks back, I cashed in 150 points and was issued with three full-size items. I received: EM Apple Blush - very excited to try this out! I have never used mineral anything and this was a beautiful way to start. I'm now hooked on the stuff, and was so happy to find it matches with literally any skin tone.Laura Geller i-care duo in brown - I generally use liquid or powder, so it was be great for me to try a pencil on my eyes. I found it to be a great match for my colouring [I'm dark eyes/hair and a buffed honey-tan complexion].Aqua Intense Hyalurone Cream - this looked just heavenly in its bright blue pot, and I had been talking about how I should really start moisturising instead of just using Rosehip oil [I know, I'm a bad girl!], when this came! Unfortunately it was way too moisture intensive for my oily skin, and caused it to break out from over-moisturisation.. oh well, two out of three definitely isn't bad. : ]Thanks again ladies, love the program. ♥

I never received my first package, but it's no biggie. I've have this type of thing happen before, I think that there is something wrong w/ my mail lady. I know that it's not megs fault, plus, I've been a member of this site long before the points system. I just redeemed for the second time, and am excited.

I love that the packages are so custom made and packaged with so much care! I just wanted to say thanks again, and I really appreciate your hard work. I love being part of the Megs makeup community, gift or no gift!
I was very happy with my 250 point gift. I received: - A KLEAN kandle and the opportunity to sniff a specific scent I mentioned from a company I didn't know and had specifically asked about in the forums. That kind of attention to detail is awesome. - A Julie Hewitt lip balm (something that I would never order myself) that I've really enjoyed. I like the kind of oily texture and the fact that it's a bit lighter than some other balms (like eos) that I've tried. The orange scent is delicious as well. - A box of Nad's wax face strips. I haven't waxed my brows since the disaster I had (which I mention on my profile). But I loved the really bare feeling that I got from waxing. So as soon as mine grow in a bit, I'll be trying these. - A Supersmile whitening toothpaste. I don't have white teeth. I needed this. - An M. Asam cream. I was a little confused about this pick since I have very oily skin and it seems like this is for drier complexions than mine. But winter has come quickly this year so I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. All in all, it's pretty obvious the amount of thought and care that went into putting my package together. Thank you ladies!

I am about 25 points away from the big 2-5-0 and I can't wait. It's great to know that you care about each person getting their package. Some places would just 'ooops' and forget it...save themselves some money. But not this site...and this is why this site will be around for a long time!
I love my rewards. It always happens that when I start looking for it and searching like mad, I'll ask the mailman and neighbors and nobody will know what I am talking about and then magically, a week later, the package "arrives." No complaints though... Unless they've been sampling my stuff!
