DIANA B. GREEN TEA BATH GEL AND SUGAR SCRUB!
Sweetassgal has come to a conclusion about her too cluttered decor'...its time to get all Western Style Feng Shui on its ass! Yes Meghead's...I'm in full simplification mode. I started small just going around the house getting rid of tchotchke (geegaws, dust collectors, brickabrack...whatever you call it) and soon realized "MY GOD...HOW many shot glasses from far away destinations do I NEED?"...answer =NONE! I'm letting everyone I know off the hook for future souvenirs. Second sweep I hit drawers and closets and started pulling out things I haven't used in a year and don't need. Feeling exhilarated I took a deep breath and hit the Behemoth...my walk in closet. Riding the wave of simplicity I started yanking hangers and tossing GASP...SHOES! I quite easily boxed up about 30 pairs and at least 4 jumbo garbage bags of clothes that were too small or no longer stylish.
I even hit the "Leaning Tower of Bath Products" disaster also known as my tub getting rid of inferior product, old unused samples and those "generic chick gifts". You know the kind. That gift box of assorted crappy smelling seasonal bath gels some relative gave you out of last minute sheer panic. You re-gift it...don't you? ADMIT IT! I thought so. Thinking of my loved one's here at Meg's sans bathtubs (I heard you loud and clear last review) I began to feel a little "neener neener neener...I've got a bathtub and you don't!" Bitchy...I decided to look through my wares and review something GREAT for the deserving Shower Set!
Diana B's Green Tea Desert Grapefruit Bath Gel was the PERFECT choice! Not only is this squeeze tube shower friendly for storage and application but it just so happens it does about TEN jobs in one! #1 - cleanses beautifully - #2 - luxurious lather moisturizes to silky perfection - #3 - instant energizer from the grapefruit - #4 Intoxicating aromatherapy from the green tea - #5 - entices your significant other to join you in the shower - #6 - lathers enough to double as shave cream - #7 - washes off without that squeaky soap film - #8 - the scent lingers in your bathroom keeping the air fresh and lively - #9 - the scent lingers on YOU keeping YOU fresh and lively and #10 - is SO addicting you are compelled to try the accompanying Sugar Scrub just to give you another excuse for a before bed shower, skin polish, and after shower fresh smelling ROMP! Try it...you'll see. Add the scrub to a half empty shower gel tube and you've got easily applied and SHOWER safe application for a great cleansing and exfoliating duo!
Lover friendly scent aside (no joking here...my Sweetassguy came barreling in the first time I used it so it's a two-fer if you are looking for one bath product to do double duty for both sexes) this is quality, but spendy product. Aloe Vera, seaweed extracts, Spirulina and chamomile are all naturally infused into the product to give you the kind of superior shower gel experience that is salon spa worthy. Diana B "Be Beautiful" boasts products able to transform your skin to silk.
Not only do they have wonderful shower delights but check out the website for sunless tanning and to die for candles as well. Spa experience at home...and in the SHOWER too! So go on my Shower Sirens...
Indulge in a little Diana B Green Tea and Desert Grapefruit Shower Gel and try to resist the urge to gush a gratifying GLAM ON!!!
What do you bathing beauties think of Diana B and to those that only have showers-what are you grabbing for to make your shower a spa-like experience?

This sounds amazing! I'm definitely going to have to try this product!
Sounds like an awesome product. I love that you described how it lathers so well!Don't you love when you clear out your home of extra stuff? I do it twice a year. And...how the heck doesn't have a bathtub? Geee... my condolances to those people :)

It looks kind of strage, but still I want to try it.
That gift box of assorted crappy smelling seasonal bath gels some relative gave you out of last minute sheer panic. You re-gift it...don't you? ADMIT IT! I thought so.NO! I keep them all, I love scented bath products, they make my morning shower exciting!
It sounds like a gorgeous product. My favorite shower product at the moment is Natio's spa shower scrub, it smells amazing.

Ohhh this looks like it'd be totally amazing! If its even remotely as fabulous as the shower gel, I'd buy 100. Unfortunately the one place that should stock Diana.B in Australia doesn't.... Boo!
The shower gels, scrubs, lotions and candles in this line are to die for. The self tanner, not so much. It's expensive, doesn't give much color payoff, and what color there is, turned out to be quite orange... I'd give it a pass. Everything else? A++++
Thanks for the heads up on the sunless tanner!
Love, hugs and shoes...Angie
this is wonderful!!! ever since i've tried the diana b bath gel in a tube my skin refuses to use anything else. this sounds like a versatile product and green tea=love!!!
My new Ebay Store: cossiepieMy blog: http://lazyscorner.blogspot.com/
not sure, will try maybe?
sounds like a great product. I love green tea & I am currently using it in my toner as well as my facial spritz (to set & refresh my makeup). I would love to try it in a body wash!
I love the scent of green tea! And personally, I could not live without my bathtub! I mean, I could, but I wouldn't enjoy my life nearly so much. After a long day, the thought of a nice bath with a new bath product is what gets me through the day.
I've only tried one thing from Diana B, a sample of a sugar scrub, but it sounds like the brand has some amazing products! Almost everything in my shower is Bath and Body Works, I always stock up during their sales. I love the scents, but the Diana B ones sound a lot more nice and complex.
What a great idea to mix the shower gel and body scrub! It sounds like a really nice product
My skin is itching to try this! I am bored with my current shower gel, I need a Diana B overhaul!

Looks like a great product...and I totally need to purge my closet. However I have a hard time letting go of shoes because you never know when you might need a certain shade of pink shoes to make an outfit pop. Seriously, I have these adorable pink shoes that I haven't worn in a year but I can't bring myself to donate them...eeek!!!!
Yup, this sugar scrub is a Godsend! I have it in the Peach Frangipani and I never thought to mix it with the matching shower/bath gel when I was running out! Great looking out Sweetassgal! That's a wonderful tip. As with all the DianaB. There is absolutely nothing scrimped here! Pure luxury. I also love the way the entre matching pink and black set looks in my shower. Very fancy. You can never have too impressive a bath collection! The sugar scrub is definitely the stand-out!
I just wanted to reiterate to everyone that the scent quality of these products is OFF THE CHARTS which is how I know they are such a great spa quality bath offering. The scent is purely intoxicating and really stays with you energizing you throughout the day. NO wimpy aromas here...you get the quality you are paying for!

I have been using the Black Fig scented bath gel and sugar scrub and I'm loving it. The smell really stays on your skin! I usually shower before bed and from the day I started using the Diana B products my bedsheets smell like fig! Plus, it's amazing how the shower gel is so rich it can be used as shave cream. And the scrub leaves the most amazing moisturizing film on your skin (the good kind of film not the yucky kind) and you really don't need a body cream after using it!
This is an amazing duo, and so great to pamper yourself after a tough day at the office. I'm happy to now be able to bathe again, after getting my tub repaired - it formerly had a set of faucets at either end, making floods a frequent happening -- and both the scrub and the gel are perfect tub-mates. And the fragrances are subtle and non-cloying. So yummy.
lol I hate that generic nasty smelling gift sets!!!! they always smells so fake and gross!!! why would you get that for someone!!!!!LolI love my diana B bath gel in fig!I havnt "bathed" yet but I have deifnitally used is as a shower gel and god it smells good!!

I tried the bath gel in Black Fig and personally did not care for the scent. Mine did not smell like any fig I ever smelled. I did purchase the gel in peach frangipani and liked it much better. I tried the sugar scrub in the peach frangipani and found it to be a pleasant scent. The scrub was in the okay catagory for me, not coming close to Elemis Lime and Ginger Scrub. I tried the sugar scrub mixed with Elemis milk bath and then it was a winner in my opinion. It made my skin feel wonderful, smooth, moisturized and pleasantly scented. I should point out that I have dry skin and that I almost always mix Milk Bath into my sugar/salt scrubs. This combo helps keep my skin from drying out.

I got it in the Peach Frangipani. When coupled with the bath gel in the same scent the results are A-MAZ-ING! I love this line. I feel so luxurious when I use it. The scent, the quality and the fact that you don't need tons of product to get great results makes it a favorite of mine. It even got a spot in my suitcase for my recent Maui Vacation. (With the current weight restrictions, that is really saying something.)Stylepapa loves the scent as much as I do. He also loves the way it makes my skin feel, so.... do... I. (Zero irritation on the sensitive skin factor, major + in my book.) I plan on giving gifts from this line to my BFF for Christmas and keeping it on hand for the next bride in my life. (It's so pretty, sitting there on my vanity looking all sleek and intriguing!) LOVES IT!
not entirely sure im convinced...we'll see
I was all set to click on over and buy this until I saw the price! Yikes! But, I LOVE citrus scents, so the grapefruit sounds amazing and I know how great green tea is for just about anything, so my husband is getting this link and I'll be hoping Santa drops this under the tree for me this year. (hey, if the stores have Christmas stuff already, then I can start writing my gift list, too!) ;)
You've totally convinced me, and not only for #5
we just finished moving to a new home and I have a nice big beautiful tub! Our old house only had a shower...I usually take a shower but now and then I like to soak the disasters of the day away in a nice relaxing bath-tub and now I can do it!!
That gel wash sounds great. There are so many bath companies it gets dizzying. Who to choose?!
Lol, I have all of the assorted bath stuff and lotions in baskets above a cabinet next to the shower. I don't use them personally, but they're there for guests. Since they were all given to me as gifts from various friends and family, I find it only appropriate to have them there on display and for guest use. I hate to throw anything away, but most of it I can't use for various reasons (perfumes or products that irritate my skin, usually). So they sit and look pretty in the bathroom. This stuff looks great.. aside from the price!
I have yet to try this brand but I love the way their products look. I am one of those lucky people who has both a shower and a tub. I use all of my good stuff on bath nights because I like to pamper myself, when I take a bath. I really need to just give in and order a few things from Diana B.

It's pricey.. I'd never tried Diana B. but I have a weak spot for scented bath products. For those who think it's expensive (& in the US), maybe you could get it from b-glowing.com with the 20% off. The Maple Sugar Lychee Bath & Shower Gel seems interesting..
Pricey, yummy, elegant, and IMO,VERY much worth it! It's seriouly one of THE best gifts I've ever received and because it's so well done, you only need a tiny amount to feel totally spoiled! The jar is huge and has lasted me for several weeks! It's on my "re-buy" list and would I LOVE it if someone would "re-gift" some to me,LOLROF!An absolute winner all the way around and trust me,I have shelves of "less than" bath products along with only a few remarkable ones...this gets tops billing! :)
I too have SUCH a great time cleansing my home of junk that accumulates. I find it so much better to be tough with this kind of stuff! My general rule is I keep it if it's really sentimental, chuck it if I haven't used / appreciated it in over a year.
this line sounds great and is starting to tempt me to create my own leaning tower of products. I will start writing a list of products so that I may still get to interesting lines but not make my house terribly cluttered. As I've probably mentioned before - I have gone on a similar simplicity kick and have emptied my house of over a dozen bags of clothing and a huge garbage bag of shoes. Last week I donated almost all the toys in the house to the Salvation Army as well, because really, how many stuffed animals do I need? (The alternative to the bathset from relatives)

i'd never tried Diana B but sounds great and interesting i would try !!!
I think Diana B is awesome. All of the products are so fragrant and so intoxicating. I'm also a sucker for a good body scrub or shower gel! I currently do not have a bath tub. To make it a more spa like experience I use body scrubs, hair masks, etc in the shower. And I also have tons of products in the shower. I currently have like 6 bodywashes in there, and twice as many shampoos and conditioners.
Good good good! I like body scrub!! I can instantly imagine how good it smells :) fresh and sweet
Mmmm looks nice and edible haha. Thanks for the article. I'm starting to like Diana B now.
