KLEAN BATH SYRUP! ALL THE YUMMY WITHOUT THE CALORIES!
Banana Bliss...Creamy Coconut...German Chocolate Cake...Goddess Granny here feelin' my butt grow bigger just whispering these words! To me, "foody scents" are the stuff of dreams and oh so satisfying without any guilt! I for one am weary of smearing tofu on a carrot and trying to fake myself into thinking it's Carrot Cake with Cream cheese Icing.
I want to smell and smell like things that make my mouth water and that might even be a bit "edible-smelling" to the hot man I'm married to as well! It's been proven time and time again that "foody smells" with vanilla at the top of the list really DO incite those bump n' grind urges in men!
Works for me too: if I can't EAT these yummy tasting treats very often it's all the more reason to indulge in their scents whenever possible, right?
One such incredibly delicioso product is the fabulous "Klean" bath syrup: not only does in come in several fine-foody scents but also in an assorted array of other absolutely delightful ones like "Ginger Tea" and "Lemon Love" as well...over 20 scents to choose from and yes,it's even available in unscented for those who simply prefer to be simply "Klean." It really IS a syrup as opposed to a bath gel or bubble bath and a small amount either introduced into a steaming tub or lathered on with a sponge results in BILLOWS of soft cleansing foam and rich moisture-laden shea oil goodness!
Cleanses gently and without stripping and the scent lasts on my skin so long, always a bonus!
I am in awe of this product: sampled it in "Lemon Love" which honestly smells like THE most perfect lemon meringue pie EVER, tart and juicy and sweet and creamy! My entire bathroom smells incredible for hours when I use this and needless to say,I do as well. It's a bathing experience that must be on everyone's list of "Ta' Do's" and a very affordable one at that! Shower if you will, it can also be enjoyed on a pouf or simpy poured on like the honey-textured treat it is.
The "Klean" company had me at first glance: simple yet not so and the founder Jennifer Hardaway based her pure and effective line on "personally significant aromas" which are fun and fresh and most of all, really add a LOT to the spa-like experience one has when using them."Scent indulgent products for the nose and spirit!" What's not to like? Combine her unusual and incredible array of scent choices with exotic oils, butters and perfumes and you have the recipe for a satisfying all over delight whether it's edible or not!
There's even a scent list on the site that will be hard to resist, they all sound SO very good...
Yes, I know there are many products in the bath and body world but if I'm going to have a habit worthy of a 12-step program when it comes to buying such things, I'd MUCH prefer they were pure, simple in some ways, and that they smell AMAZING without fail! Otherwise, I could simply squirt a bit of "Dove" or other dish washing soap into the bath for my bubbles like my Mom did when we were kids (hey...it was years ago and who knew dish soap wasn't equal to bath syrup back then) and call it a day!
EVERYTHING in this line looks like something I want to try! Polish and soaks and butters OH MY! Every item comes in so many choices I am dizzy just plotting an order and the prices are simply great as well!! You an even buy some things in "bulk" which I am sorely tempted to do in the case of the bath syrup. Only WHICH scent to choose?
Enjoy browsing around the "Klean" site here and do yourself a guilt-free favor and order something delicious for yourself or someone you like!
I'm all over the "Tart Green Apple" and can you even IMAGINE the "Klean Grass" scent? That would be one scent I'd absolutely LOVE to try as the real deal stuffs me up! Enjoy some
"Klean" time and what scents/products in this creative and cool line are tempting you?

Yes I love this!!! Meg sent me Lemon Love, and I used it once and put it away to save for...I don't know what but it seems too nice to use everyday! (Silly, I know). I'll use it again after my workout today. It's delectable!!
Wow these scents look amazing.....yummy watermelon!!! I just signed up for their mailing lists and hopefully they will have some specials so that i can buy some of their products!!! Thanks for sharing this company with us ;)
Thanks to Meg, the Lemon Love Bath Syrup was in my goodie bag. It smells SO SO GOOD (like a cupcake)! It lathers great and leaves my skin soft and smelling wonderful throughout the whole day. I'm checking out their site and there are many scents that I want to try, including Lime Crush, Pink Martini, and Tangy Watermelon. :) delicious!

I'm a sucker for things that smell nice, especially vanilla or citrusy scents. I guess I'm as much of a sucker for food scents as your average man (nothing quite like a hint of mint in an aftershave!).I have a few very nice soaps in my box of nice things to save, that I can't use and from the descriptions of this it would go straight there just to be smelled from time to time. (How tall is it?)Ginger Tea, I think, would be my favourite. Ginger is one of those scents I just connect with feeling loved. Though Vanilla Sandalwood...oh, now you made me have to rush and find something to smell!
I got it from MEG too! and I love !!!! it's smell so good it's a real pleasure mine is the lemon syrup one and I wish I could drink it straight from the bottle =) Since the bottle is not very Big I use it only when I know that I am going to see the Fiancé... =)

OMG, Gigi - you are such an enabler!! I just went to the website and my head is reeling. I want this, I want that... just send it all to me. OH, but how will I pay for all of it? Hmmm, time to make some serious decisions. This is going to take some time. But the Lemon Love is definitely going to make the cut. Thanks loads!

Carole, I wish I could take credit for Goddess Granny's delectable confection known as a product review, but alas they are her words that have you salivating . . . She is right; people who want to get to be closer with dogs are told to put vanilla on pulse points as it is a natural drawing card. Me? I tried this in "Blue Hawaii" (Pikaki and Coconut). It was sublime and I was transported from my shower to the beach, sitting and drinking a Pina Colada and enjoying every bit of it, the scent of the ocean in the air and the blue water in front of me. The consistency surprised me as well, as the lather is lush and moisturizing. This is potentially addictive and should have a Surgeon General's warning on the side but, hey, it's a sweet indulgence that won't have you working out overtime! God Bless, Gigi
Gigi - I have clearly lost my mind! Apologies to Goddess Granny - I went on a very brief mental vacation. BUT - in addition to Gigi, you are also an enabler!

i like food scents for my lip glosses (like mac's vanilla-scented stuff) and occassionally for my hair (shampoos and stuff) but idk for my body. alot of things have subtle "foody" notes but that's not the main scent so if these dont smell overpoweringly like the real thing, im down.
bamboo sugar cane and very vanilla sounds oh so tempting to try....i love when skin smells like edible stuff lol <3
browsing the scents made me really hungry. mMmMm......the ones that are tempting me are the bamboo sugar cane, blue hawaii, creamy coconut, devil made me do it, lime crush, and tangy watermelon. imagine mixing some of syrups in the bath! i can imagine putting a bit of very vanilla with the creamy coconut. how divine!

I checked out the website, and I would take one of everything! It seemed kind of expensive though, but I'm a real cheapskate with a few exceptions. I will definately sign up for their mailing list though incase they send out coupons or something.

If you sign up for their newsletter you get a 25% off coupon on your first purchase. What a great gift - put one of these in a cute holiday bag (Michael's does cute and cheap) with some holiday Hershey kisses, a flavored lip gloss or homemade goodies.
That's awesome you just made me have to sign up for their newsletter. I think I'm going to use my coupon for their milk bath.

OMG.... I can just smell this stuff just by reading!!! I really want to try some or all of their products cause it's nothing that I love more than to smell edible like my favorite desserts lol.

I really like the packaging of this product, so simple yet elegant in a way. I really like citrus scented bath products, they just seem so fresh and wake me up in my morning shower! However the ones I have used the scents don't really last on me. Maybe this would be something to look into?
I love German Chocolate cake.. just not sure I want to bathe in it or smell like it...
http://ediblelove.wordpress.com/
ginger tea, pink grapefruit-vanilla, and lemon love sound fab!!
http://ediblelove.wordpress.com/
I really dislike 'foody' smelling things, in terms of vanillas and chocolate and cake. I'd much prefer to eat them rather than bathe in them! I think its possibly because a lot of foodie items have almond oil in it, and it just makes me gag. However, I love foodie items, in terms of nice fresh lemon pie scents! Anything that smells fresh, and refreshing is ok by me!! :)
I LOVE that is has a great aroma that is good enough to eat but, no calories!!! :)
Oh, I love gourmand scents! I'm currently using Philosophy's 3-in-1s which are significantly less expensive though :)These look fabulous-I'm digging the German chocolate cake one!
Those sound amazing, kudos to anyone who can re-create a chocolate scent without making me smell rancid.
Ohh Goddess Granny.. you're making me wish I had a bath all over again. : '[Learning about all of the amazing bath products out there makes me so so sad. Oh for the day we decide to move or build! That will be the first thing I request. Bath - or no move. :P
This line sounds awesome, I love food-smelling products! BBW had some really great ones with their Temptation line which I think is discontinued, but I love some of their signature scents that are foodish, too, like Mango Mandarin.
I would definitely go for the Vanilla or the Lemon scent. I love having the bath and me smelling delicious.
I have the lemon Klean Bath Syrup thanks to Meg. I just used it in the shower an hour ago, and I absolutely love it! The scent is to die for, and the texture lathers very well. I've never heard of a bath syrup before, but I like its thick consistency. Thanks Meg!
wow...everything looks so amazing. I love food scented products, for the same reason you do Godess Granny, it I can't eat it, at least I can smell like it. I'm loving the sound of The Devil Made Me Do It, and Pink Martini, yumm
Food scents make me hungry! :D The lemon sounds divine! I love the label for this product because it's so, well, clean. Simple is best sometimes. This sounds like a fun product to use and I can almost smell the lemon now.
I am now OBSESSED with this company. Meg sent me the Thai Lemongrass soy candle and I read the scent and was like huh? and then smelled it and fell in love. It just smells klean lol. I also love the natural-ness of these products. Right now the Tart Green Apple is screaming my name for fall. It's just another product I will add to my shopping list since I'm currently on a "no buy".
i love coconut scents fruits scents but i'm not addict to chocolate scent in the products ...
I'm salivating!!! I try to eat healthy, and so I'm big on really great foody smelling products, so that way I feel like I can have my cake and eat it too :)

I LOVE clean fresh cirtus-y scents and this lemon scent sounds perfect. I'm not much for baths, but it sounds like this would be a good body wash too. yum.
i'm skeptical of food scents because they have to hit it right for me. they can't be too fake and smell nothing like the food but then they can't necessarily smell exactly like it (i.e. things that smell like cupcakes make me nauseous after a use or two). I do like the fact that this leaves you and the bathroom smelling good as a lot of my products tend to wither away in the scent department

well, I love everything chocolate:) ..but Iam a bit afraid I'd start craving sweet things if I used it.
Great review. I am definitely going to buy the Lemon scent for my Mom for her Christmas stocking.

I know I don't want to smell like a bake sale. If I'm smelling some delicious food, then I want to be able to taste it without blowing bubbles.I saw a documentary about vanilla and how it's an alluring love potion that men are drawn to. I'm not a fan of vanilla, so I'll have to mix up my own love potion No.9.I do love smelling like coconut.I think smelling like a pina colada would be fab. I can see me sipping on a frozen pina colada, while showering with my pina colada syrup and listening to the song "Pina Colada" aka "Escape" by Rupert Holmes. Take a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ntnt6PeQqGQThanks for the wonderful info.

I love this! The amazing Meg sent me the bath syrup in Blue Hawaii and she also sent me a candle too. Both are fantastic! The bath syrup smells great. It's coconuty and tropical. It definitely smells the way I think Hawaii should smell :P The candle was also great and made my entire bathroom smell amazing whenever I lit it. I went on the website and I'm tempted to order a ton more goodies, its just so hard deciding what scent to order. They all seem like they'd smell good.
Oh WOW. I'm looking at the 10 fragrance testers for $30 deal--that's amazing!! I love love love love LOVE foody scents, and that Lime Crush is totally calling my name, citrus-y stuff, especially lime, is my fave. Ok, gotta go drool over this site for like an hour :)
Oh man, that site is making my mouth water with all the delicious sounding scents! I would love this (probably more so if I actually had a bath) but since you can also use them in the shower - I WANT ONE. Or all of them, whatever. :PI LOVE vanilla... and citrus smelling stuff.. Yum. <3
Satsuma Glow! I have the kandle (thanks Meg!) and love the refreshing scent. There're so many scents that caught my eye.. I would love to relax in Beach House, have a Pink Martini... another one is Where Angels Go -- Light Angel Food Cake with warm buttery notes!!? sounds YUMMY! I didn't know what an Angel Food Cake is so I googled it.. I found that it seemed very similar to a "hole-in-the-middle" green color cake that my mum used to make... it's called pandan cake, the green color is from the juice of pandan leaves. Pandan leaves btw smells heavenly! haha... now I'm craving cake!
I love foodie smelling products! I love this quote "It's been proven time and time again that "foody smells" with vanilla at the top of the list really DO incite those bump n' grind urges in men!" anytime I wear vanilla scents guys seem to go crazy, its totally true!
lemon love sounds amazing.....
mmm....some of those sound amazing! However, the price is a little too expensive for body wash, jmo ;)
First the cupcakes and noe the syrup!!!OMG! I need to go on bath diet!Lol these sound simply wonderful!Lol I love the "Devil Made me Do it" name for the chocolate! The best I think I would like....Definitally lavender, Mabey Pomagranate fig!
Tan is Love
I love Jaqua products - except for the bath syrups. Maybe I just can't get over the name or it's because I bought a faulty one deeply discounted at Ulta. Whatever the case I know I probably won't try this product just because of my prior experience with another brands similar item. Lame I know but oh well. I have way too much bath stuff anyhow.
The names (Banana Bliss...Creamy Coconut...German Chocolate Cake...) sound so sweet, mmmmmm. I love sweet scents and I would like a product which smell last for hours.
Was just browsing the klean website and I wouldn't be suprised to find these products on one of oprah's favourite things lists so much to want-like the klean kooler hydrating mist-ahhhh,cucumber sugar body polish, solid perfumes, whipped shea body butter and the bath syrup-the ones I have narrored it down to-klean grass, very vanilla, vanilla sandalwood, breathe, exhale, creamy coconut, vanilla sandlewood, where angels go and tangy watermelon(well I dont hav a signature scent more one for every mood ,wim and occasion so that's my version of narrowing it down)wouldn't a big basket of these products make the best christmas present-I defy the fussest person not to find something to love.P.S Goddess Granny it aint a myth about the vanilla one of my friends used to wear a scent which as single note vanilla and guys would just come up and sniff her-its cat nip for men-beware beware-all depends who's doing the sniffing Isuppose lol.
PotionPrincess♥
blue hawaii, pink grapefruit vanilla, pomegranate fig, satsuma glow...ohhh yummy
I asked about this brand in the forums a while back. I'm so excited to see it! The descriptions of the scents are what drew me, but I was hesitant about purchasing something KLEAN if it wasn't going to be worth the money but it sounds like it definitely is. Meg sent me the Thai Lemongrass candle (the very scent that I mentioned in the forum, isn't she a sweetheart!) and does it ever smell delicious. Tart lemongrass with just a hint of creamy coconut to mellow it a bit. And after this review on how lovely the bath syrup is, I'm sold! Now my only problem is deciding on what other scents to order...
I just got the Blue Hawaii syrup from Meg yesterday and it is divine!!! I'm officially hooked!! I can't buy anymore right now but as soon as those credit cards are paid off I'm rewarding myself!
