I-CARE, BECAUSE YOU CARE - LAURA GELLER'S I-CARE EYELINER WATERPROOF PENCIL DUO
Hiya! MissRo here! Have you ever done your makeup in the morning and went to work, or were just out running errands for most of the day. Then you get invited to join friends for drinks, but need to freshen up your makeup and the one thing you do not have is eyeliner. Well, that's not the case with Laura Geller!
For $22.80 you get not one, but two eyeliners! Yup, QVC is selling the Laura Geller i-Care Eyeliner Waterproof Pencil Duo for a limited-time at that price. Normally it sells for $32, which is still great considering you are getting two pencils. You are probably wondering why two pencils. Well that is what I asked when I first saw the product. Then I noticed, right on the box it says one for home and one for your purse. I thought "genius"! And now I never have to be without eyeliner when going from day to night when I don't have time to go home and freshen up.
The liner is called I-Care because its treatment-like formula contains beneficial and nourishing ingredients perfect for the delicate eye area. Mineral oil-and preservative-free, I-Care is ophthalmologist-tested and specifically formulated for use around the eyes, even for those who wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes. The highly smudge-proof formula helps to perfectly line the inner eyelid. A soft, flexible smudger is attached to the opposite end. And the best part, pull the smudger off, and you'll find a handy little sharpener tucked inside! Again, "genius"!
For all you New York Megheads, Laura Geller runs a posh Upper East Side makeup studio. The studio's purpose is simple: to teach women the how-to of proper cosmetics application. Laura's experience comes from years working with on-air talent at CBS, NBC, AMC, and HBO. Today, Laura is most often seen in front of the camera through her many QVC appearances in the US, the UK and Canada. She recently created a multi-purpose makeup collection that is uniquely Italian and handmixed, called the Baked Color Cosmetics Collection. It's designed to adjust to your skin tone and deliver more than ordinary powder. The result is exceptional luminosity and a flawless, radiant look.
The eyeliner is available in two colors - black and brown. Remember, it's only for a limited time on QVC!
What's your favorite eyeliner? Which color do you prefer, black or brown and why?

I have not tried this eyeliner, but it sounds like a great deal! However, I really should not be turned loose on QVC ;)
I'm a mineral-powder-shadows-as-eyeliner girl. I do a lot of browns, but my real favorites are dark purples and greens. It's fun to play with color and it's possible to keep it subtle (or not!!). :)
I tend to use liquid eyeliner if I want a defined, sexy outline or I use an angled brush and use eye-shadow if I want something a bit more casual and 'smokey'.
great deal for those who use pencils and that brand!

I love Laura Geller products! Her baked blush lasts all day long. I switch out my eyeliners, but I always layer over black, it just seems to give me the best definition, even though I'm really fair, I love the dramatic, smoky eye.
I really like these. I was given the two in brown as a part of my reward for cashing in my makeup points!I don't usually use a pencil eyeliner as I tend to use an angled brush and visine to do my eyeliner with some mineral e/s.However - these are just fantastic! It goes on really smoothly (don't have to drag my eyes like normally happens) and its easy to wind up. The pull out sharpener is the cutest thing ever too!I use the brown -- and its the best brown shade in eyeliner that I've used :)
I have used this eyeliner and really liked it. I love that she is selling tow for a reduced price. I will definitely order. I also love her baked powders, they last forever and look great on.
I've never tried Laura Geller but I'm always a fan of innovation! I love the marketing of one for your home and one for your purse. It really is true of your favourite products. Marketing it as needing two just automatically makes you think you are just going to love it and it will be one of your staples.
LOL I got this from meg! And I LOVE IT!When I first go it I was like.. Oh 2 of them Probably one black, one brown... Then I realized both were brown and was like... why??lol But It make soo much sense! Because you're right you always go out... theres no eyeliner in your purse and its the perfect thing to freshen up.Now onto the review.I have to say, this is actually mt favorite eyeliner in the world now.Previously I hated wearing it because it never went on right and it just looked bad!!Not the case here. This eyeliner is so creamy.. it goes on like butter(bad comparison??)lol and you can smudge it, you can sharpen it!! its awesome!I got brown thank god. Brown is more natural. Black is waaay to harsh for me. and I almost always smudge it.
Tan is Love
I LOVE EYELINER!! My favorite is Avon Glimmersticks in Cosmic Brown or Saturn Grey. I also like gel liner in purple, and minerals as eyeliner.I've never actually used black eyeliner - it just seems too harsh.
what a funky eyeliner!!! I love eyeliner, it's a must for me. I've passed my phase of using pencil liners on my top lids but I love gel liners, although it can get a little too harsh. So now i've moved onto black eyeshadow as a liner and it works wonders! it doesn't smudge like the pencil liners. However i'm still using pencil for my bottom lashline, it always end up smudging. I've never tried waterproof liner, i think it's about time i do! Thanks for the review :)

I have UD 24/7 liners in Covet, Deviant and 1999. And I like them to do a swipe of color over my black liner that's close to my lash line. I use a thin brush with L'Oreal HIP gel liner on the top. It's annoying carrying the liner pot and the brush around. Pencil is much more convenient. I'd try a pencil that I could get a really good thin point with that did not tug at all. Several pencils I've tried hurt to draw with, like I was using an actual writing pencil. I love playing with pops of color on the eye, but I probably look best in purples and greens. I have black, but it's too much and too harsh if I do anything more than a tight line against the lash base. Brown is much more forgiving and it's softer with my brown hair and eyes.
i love watching QVC when the makeup companies are being shown. laura geller is so popular on there and her products look amazing. her baked makeup is what is making me want to buy her stuff...especially the balance n brighten.as for eyeliner, my favorite is probably black because it gives such great definition.

I use edm mineral powder liner sometimes but I prefer gel liner, which I love! I use black but am going to get a brown very shortly :)
This is genius-the fact that it has the sharpener built in -its the one thing you can never find when your in a rush.Id use brown for day ,black for night but tend to use up my black first-I love liquid liner-I tend to be able to apply liquid easier-was actually saying this to my sister yesterday and she said lately she's been using gosh pencil eyeliners and that they slide on really easily without pulling the lid but stay really smudge proof.Speaking of makeup touchups-Ive got this really handy little lipgloss kit from urban decay called feisty kitten-its got 6 glosses and a brush and is credit card sized and pretty narrow to fit easily into the pocket of your jeans-it also doubles as a credit card holder-its really cool.

i think all colors have a reason to be worn. I get bored of plain black because different colors play with my eye color more than just black

I havent tried this eye liner! But i do have some like it. .I think it was lancome! I dont remember! I always go with black i feel like it really make my eyes stand out and pop! I never really watched Home Shopping or QVC til recently! They do have some neat stuff that i wish i would have grabbed! But i think its so funny when they ( i dont remember which channel does it) Sell Like magazine subscriptions! To like glamour or vogue! SO weird! haha
Although the special prices isn't that bad, the original seems a lot for eyeliner. I have always been happy with my eyeliners from Avon, so why spend over 5x more? I cycle through liquid, pencil, cream, or shadow liner. Whatever I am in the mood for at the time! I don't have many pencils because I feel I don't use them enough, since I have mostly eyeshadow palettes I mostly end up using a colour from them for eyeliner. And I am a big fan of coloured eyeliner!
Oh how I la-la-love QVC! And eyeliner! My favorite e/l ever is UD 24/7 in Bourbon. Black makes me look like a raccoon since I'm so fair, so I have to stick with anything but black. My favorite is navy! I'm planning on the 24/7 e/l kit from UD which includes a navy, I'm super excited!!
I only like colored mascara since I think that black/brown closes up my tiny Asian monolid eyes. Theres no point in putting it on my upper lashline since it disappears under my droopy lid, but a pretty pop of color such as Urban Decay Ink for Eyes in Empire (thank you meg!) brightens up and defines my brown eyes :D. I still think eyeshadow owns eyeliner by like lightyears. I sure you know that dipping a wet eyeliner brush into eyeshadow = eyeliner.I do wear black eyeliner sometimes since I feel bad for not using the ones I have.
i wanna try this
I only have one black and one brown eyeliner and a pot of black gel liner. I like using the brown one for everyday because it's not too dramatic and gives the definition I want without going overboard. I have tons of mineral eyeshadows and I use them too as eyeliner, I don't buy colored liners anymore because of that. ;)
I use an gemey eyeliner in black and i love it for the precision and the price !!!but sounds great i wanna try tje laura geller's eyeliner !!!
This is a really good deal. I wonder how long they last? My issue is that I can never get anything to stay on my water line. It always ends up smearing, smudging, and disappearing. I love UD's 24/7 liner. It's great. It's long lasting and takes awhile to smudge on me. I like black liner, but I'm a big fan of bronzes, golds, greens, purples, and blues. I guess I just like eye liner. It's an easy way for me to look "done up".
I'm not overly fond of pencils. Of some reason, I feel as if pencils are a waste of product considering you have to sharpen them to get that thin, precise line I love. Call me strange, since I probably waste as much liner cleaning my brush. My favourite eye liner is my Fluidline in Blacktrack from Mac, applied with my Ecotools slanted eye liner brush. Perfect every time. I'm considering getting one in the brown shade Dipdown too, but I have a wonderful brown pressed eye shadow from Everyday Minerals that I use for that purpose (Boardwalk, sadly in the discontinued Sandcastle Palette).
I have been watching Laura Gellar on QVC all day today. I have never tried her products, but I'm really interested in some of her baked products after watching her today. Normally, if I use liner at all, I use a brown shade. On my pale skin it's just more day appropriate.
Ha ha...I used to watch QVC like an addict. It got to the point that I would be buying things that I didn't even have a use for because they were a good deal.I love that they are selling it in a pair so you can have one at home and one in your purse...ingenious!

Favourite eyeliner is EDM's In the Garden. Amazing colour that works for everyone. It's probably their best eye product. I love watching Laura Geller on QVC. The makeup presentations are so much fun.
Urban Decay 24/7 glide on pencils are the best EVER! I have about 10 of them and my fave is hard to figure out. The one I use most is Zero (black) and Bourbon (brown) and oh well heck, all of them! They glide on so nicely with no tugging which is important to my recently wrinkling 30 year old eyes.
I order some in brown.. but I really wish they came in a wider range in colors so I could replace some of my harsher liners(not my mark pop-in which is my holy grail item!). I love that this is a eyesafe product and really caters to contact lens wearers, which is why I wanted more :(.
;) Gloss & Gum <3
I've wanted to try some Laura Geller products for a long time. This pencil would definitely be worth trying. I always go for brown eye pencils. I'd like to learn to use more colours like greens, blues and purples. Black is not my thing at all.
These pencils are wonderful! I've never been a big pencil e/l fan, I always just use mineral e/s wet lined. However, I got this from Meg, and instantly fell in love. The first time I tried it was in the car-- when we go out looking at different wedding locations, they're all pretty far away and we have to leave early in the morning. Because of this, I just get dressed and throw the mu that I want to wear that day in my little Clinique bag and get in the car. I've gotten the car application technique down pat, but it can be tricky trying new things, especially pointy things near your eye. Also you run the risk of messing up and not having a way to fix it as if you were at home. I took the pencil out to finish off my eye mu, and within just a few minutes- VOILA! It glided on effortlessly, and even lined my waterline perfectly with no fuss, even on bumpy roads (but of course I don't recommend doing that!). I love smokey eye looks but since I'm so fair all over, they can be overwhelming. The brown shade still gives a bit of drama, but isn't as harsh with my coloring. I used the little smudge tool on the other end, and had instantly beautiful smokey eyes. It enhanced not only my blue eyes, but the gold rings around my irises as well. I keep one of these pencils in my mu drawers, and one in whatever purse I'm using at all times. Seriously a HG pencil!
This stuff is amazing!
I use mineral eye shadows as liners. What I like most about them is the choice of colours - I have about 150 mineral eye shadows and samples. I can have an eyeliner in any shade for cheap. Also, a lot of my samples are darker than I expected and I wouldn't have any other use for them.
I prefer brown to black eyeliner. However, I think I prefer colored eyeliner. I'm part asian, so my eyes aren't very big,and I have thick eyelashes, so if I wear dark eyeliner sometimes it looks like I'm hiding my eyes.
I don't wear much eyeliner, but the times that i do, i wear brown because my skin is fair.
This sounds really great, but i much prefer liquid liner. And when i wear it i want it as black as possible!
that looks awesome! i really wanna try it!
