EVERYDAY MINERALS CHEEKS IN APPLE! YOU LADIES MADE ME TRY IT WITH YOUR EDM FIXATIONS!
Meg here! You know how I read every one of your comments? Well, I try, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what "EDM" was and where everyone was coming from it. I thought "EDM" was the new "LOL" or "OMG". Finally, we had a Meg Head write "Everyday Minerals." Eureka! EDM was found.
I learn more from you ladies then anywhere else so I went on the search. I checked out the EverydayMinerals website. It's like a whole mineral universe in there. It's a mineral religion that may border on cult like. I'm wondering if we need to alert any of your family members!
I too wanted a chance to be part of the hysteria sweeping the mineral landscape and so I put Eleni on the task to get us some of our very EDM to try out!
Soon a large round Everyday Minerals Cheeks in "Apple" showed up. It was really a very good size and all of $8.00. I like how this company seems to offer a ton of sample sizes so you can get some of the milk for virtually free without marrying the cow...Moo. This offer had enticed our very own Stylemama she had gone to the site and ordered up a bunch of testers. She had them all spread out on our retreat, she said that she was liking them! So you may have a new follower.
I liked "Apple" very much. It's too big for my cosmetic bag but that means it's a great value for the green. It's a natural but grown-up shade of pink. Apple is not bubblegum pink it is a warmer tone, with fall coming it should work great with the new dramatic shades we are seeing. A little goes a long way so it natural is your thing then a lil' dab will do you. If you want to recreate some of the striking fall runway looks then this will cover that as well.
I'm dying to hear all of the comments from you EDM lovers and from the women that own "Apple". Thanks ladies for bringing me up to speed on EDM. Even Ditzy Meg was able to figure it out!
So let's hear it! Why do you love this company so much? Why are they the Apple of your eye...I mean cheeks!

I haven't tried EDM yet (I have some other foundation I'm forcing myself to use up first). But believe me, I WILL be buying some as it seems everybody else on here is using it but me.

I love love LOVE EDM. My favourite blush from them is Swimming Pool. Since my skin colour is a little bit darker, I dont like anything too pink, or anything too bronze. This is a very dark pink, sort of like a brownish pink. A perfect blend of colours to give me this warm natural glow.
I am so happy to have found EDM! I had been curious about mineral makeup after seeing all kinds of informercials for expensive brands, but EDM is super affordable! I know there has been some upset amongst the community about the discounted kits being gone, but even full price this line is really cheap for the quality and amount you get.I found my shade instantly (Buff-Beige Neutral), and love the finish and feel of it on my skin. Every blush I have tried (Salon Fun, DVR Saturday, Make It Count, and Snuggle) are super pigmented and blend to such a pretty finish on my skin. This line is definitely a staple for me now, never will I go back to liquid foundations again!
I love EDM and "Apple" is in my top 5 fav blushes!! It gives me a very natural flush & it is definitely one of my everyday daytime blushes. I think it would compliment most skin types as well..My all time favorite blush from EDM (so far, there are still a few that I don't have) would have to be New Car Smell!! It's a very pretty light peachy shade with a bit of shimmer. Perfect for a natural, summery glow!!
Another EM cult member here! (and no, you don't have to contact my family because I made my daughter join too and the hubby knows we are alive because the charges on the bank account keep coming in!)My favorite blush (at the moment) is Time Share. But I love Apple too and all of the other 50-something blushes I own from EM!!Welcome to the addiction, we will save a seat for you!
I heard about EDM about a year ago, the cost was great and the quality even better!
wow, its been a while since ive been on here, so much hw. i received this as one of the gifts, thanks Meg!I really like it, i have dark skin and it look great, it brings out my cheeks alot and it feel very light. thanks again!
Ooh! I've never tried Apple, but it looks fabulous! I love New Mom. It's very pigmented and rosy--a little goes a long way! I haven't been using their foundation powders lately. I used to LOVE Olive Medium... or Medium Olive... anyway...but the color looks weird on me now. Or maybe it always did and I'm just noticing :)! Ha! I haven't felt like going through the whole sampling and trying again to find my right shade. I know Sandy Olive is a bit light. I do LOVE the cost and value of these products.
I love EDM but I don't have the Apple blush. Tea Time is one of my favorites and it's a peachy color.
Apple is on my "to-try" list especially since they recently put the pressed powder version for sale. It seems to be a universally loved shade by EDM users and I am dying to see if it becomes my holy grail blush as well. I constantly add and remove products from my cart when browsing their website... there are so many colours I want to try and it wouldn't drain my bank account if I went on a spree there either.
This shade looks really lovely and wearable.I'm yet to jump on the mineral band-wagon as it just looks a little fiddly to me! Loose pigment tends to dust everywhere, and it's just a heck of a lot easier for me to use the old sponge method, personally. That said, I've been looking to try this stuff [EDM] for a while now. I just have to pluck up the courage to order some sample packs I think. : ]
Another EDM convert here...I started with EDM because I was so sick of liquid makeup that would just melt off, powders have always had more sticking power on my skin. I heard about EDM, and impressed by the prices and the range of colours I decided to give it a go...and so a beautiful relationship was born. Actually apple was the first blush sample that I ordered and I've always had a soft spot for it. Its such an easy colour to wear.
Oh, the bismuth is HORRIBLE!!! On my skintone, the pearly finish makes me look dead! Ick. I've read that it irritates some people b/c the molecules are crystalline shaped and are quite large as far as molecules go--that's why you have to buff them into your skin. The sharp edges of the molecule can be irritating, and are also the cause of the itchies for some people. I do NOT like Bare Minerals foundations. However, I love their Buxom Lash Mascara, and their Buxom Lipglosses!
i wonder if it looks cute on all skintones. im searching for a blush to use when i dont feel like using nars orgasm (another shade that flatters almost anyone)

Do it! Apple looks great on dar skin. Im not as dark as you, but WAAAAY darker than my profile pic now. and the apple blush looked awesome!

Yay, glad you got to try some EDM! Apple is gorgeous, I have the pressed version and love it. It's great for all skin tones! Hope you get to try some more EDM goodies soon :)
I am kind of off and on with mineral makeup. I either love it or I'm like, meh... But I can't deny that using it really makes my skin look better, and it's not often you can say that about a makeup. Even when I am not so into the foundation, I still love the blush, it gives you a wash of color that looks natural, and not like you applied it.
I could write a tome on how much I love EM! I have been using them since 2007 and can't live without their products. There are two main things which sucked me in! One was that they don't test on animals. Big tick. The second is the amazing prices. Even with shipping and currency exchange its cheaper than ANYTHING you can get here in Australia. Another big tick! They have a HUGE range of foundations, blushes and eyeshadows and their brushes are of VERY high quality! :)I had wanted to try Apple for SUCH a long time, but never got around to ordering it. When I got sent some in my makeup points reward from Meg I was kicking myself that I didn't have it earlier! Its such a great flattering colour. Definately a 'grown up' pink!
My favorite blush from EDM is "Soft Touch" it gives just the right pop on my cheeks. I am not a big fan of their face color as it was just too drying for me.
I'm an EDM lover to! I have to admit I own almost all their colors already. I do like Apple but I haven't worn it in awhile. I'll have to pull it out again. My favourite is Tea Time but I'm always switching it up. I like Soft Bronzer quite a bit as well for those more demur days.
LMAO!!!!!!! I never would have thought that all this EDM talk had you confused?!?!lolHow wonderful that you've brought them into your world though! EDM is getting GREAT advertisement off of your site they owe you big time!!I recieved the apple blush in my gift from you! I was so excited. It was my first full size EDM product. And I have to say I was suprised at the size!! It really is a good deal! Plus I LOVE how much bigger the caps are compared to bare minerals. There is way more room to swirl to brush so the minerals get all good and tucked in there. So I posted this somewhere else but I have to put it again.Apple blush is SO VERSATILE!When I first saw it I though UGH how BRIGHT! and cheery pink, and I thought only someone really fair could pull it off.But I tried it anyway and WOW it looks great in contrast to my tan face! Just the right amount of distinct color for my cheeks! Im so impressed!Ive ordered soo many samples in fact Ive got 2 more coming this week!Still trying to find the right base foundation color but the eyes and the blushes are soog ood you can hardly go wrong! My favorite blushes from EDM are the sparkly ones! I got girls day its very dark but it looks awesome on dark skin. and soooo shimmery!...Mabey someone SHOULD contact my family...

OMG I'm so excited that Meg has tried Everyday Minerals and is giving some if it away in the gift packages! I'm more excited than I should be, actually. APPLE! I love it. It's the perfect winter flush, so I save it for cold days. Or as cold as it could possibly get in Los Angeles. It seems to work for everyone, cool or warm, fair or dark.I lurve Everyday Minerals blushes! Pre-EDM I had one blush that I sometimes wore, but EDM turned me into a blush junkie! My other favorite EDM blushes are:Time Share - perfect mauvey pink that makes me look so young and pretty!Snooze Bar - probably my Holy Grail blush. Peachy brown, so so pretty and flattering for my coloringNick Nack - it took me 2 years, but I finally used up a sampleMy devotion to EDM borders on hysteria!!
Oh i'm so excited to finally comment on a product that I have used! :)I love edm, especially their foundation, winged butter is the perfect colour match for me (i was stolked to find one that suits perfectly).Their blushes are amazing, it's so pretty!! I tried their free samples and I was hooked, i started ordering more samples then I thought what the heck, and ordered a super custom kit (pity they don't have those anymore!!)I love how they don't use talc, parabens, bismuth or any other harsh chemicals. I think the only thing that's missing is some spf, but still good!I just can't get enough of edm :)

everyday minerals is such an amazing makeup company. it's super affordable and they have really good quality makeup.apple is hands down my favorite blush. it's usually what i grab for everyday because it looks good with everything. i believe it works well on any skin tone because it's so pigmented. fairer skin tones just need a tiny bit while darker skin tones can use just a bit more for the color to show up. it's perfect for the fall season because it will give you a beautiful flush to your cheeks. definitely try it!

Have not tried it yet but sounds good.
I LOVE EDM! I am totally a cult member, haha! And all the ladies on the forum are wonderful! The customer service is great! The products are affordable and fantastic!!!
I just counted my edm blushes! I have 31 full size blushes and 4 samples lol I have a problem! They are wonderful! And I can use them all, the only one that doesn't work for me is 'once and again' which I swapped for 'text message' which is great!
Apple is really really nice, I puchased it about 6 months ago because everyone was raving about it!!!
But my fav is definaty new car smell and second goes to back to school
WOO HOO everyone should try EDM!
Hi!, My name is Tula and I love EDM.I have 6 full size blushes, apple included. It's very pigmented so I think I would never end it.My everyday one is Nick Nack or Snooze Bar. I really love those two.
Meg, I'm glad you tried EDM & like it! (: My first trial size blush (or my first blush, ever) was Apple. I too find it pigmented, so just a little will do. I'm sure a full size jar will last you a lifetime! I do tend to drift towards their matte blushes. Other favorites are Weekend Getaway for a more natural color and All Smiles for a summer coral flush. I hope you try more of their products & love it as much as we do! The colors are versatile and there are so many options that you are bound to find something worthy to deem a HG product.
Oh this looks similar to nars orgasm which I love.Id never heard of edm until the girls here were talking about it with such feverish devotion-it really is like a cult-but seems like a good sign that you only hear good things about it.
PotionPrincess♥
Dont worry meg i didnt know what EDM was til today!! That is a pretty color though! Ill definatly have to check it out!!
I love that they sent a comprehensive sample pack and i adore their packaging

OMG I'm so glad you have tried EDM !!!!! I love all their products I love the size and price and I love how friendly they are, they give away new products as golden tickets and I have never known of a company do this before I think they are Fab !!!
haha, I love that I am not the only person who never has any idea what all those letters mean. Acronyms drive me nuts! Good researching though! I also haven't tried any mineral makeup, loose powder makes me nervous. I feel like it will be all over my bathroom, my bag, my outfit, and worst of all, ALL OVER MY FACE. But, so many people seem to love it. Maybe I'll give it a try and experiment on a Sunday morning or something! :)
I absolutely adore EM! Though I haven't tried Apple, there have always been other colors I thought looked more interesting.Lately I've been loving Walkee Talkee. It took me more than a year to try out my sample, but it's absolutely gorgeous!
I love EDM because it's affordable, fun, and good for my skin. It does borderline on obsession for me, because it's as much about the camaraderie as the makeup itself. Plus, with EDM (and mmu in general), I've finally been able to find an exact match in foundation. As someone with really strong yellow and green undertones, that's often hard to find. My favorites from EDM have to be Tea Time, Email Me, Everyday Bronzer, New Car Smell, and Pink Ribbon. Yes, they do blush verrrry well, and I am also a huge fan of Apple.
So happy to hear you got to try out EDM and to read what you thought about it. I have have been using EDM since May and loved it so much. Before EDM I hadn't been using much eye make up for a couple of years because my eyes got irritated by just about anything. Then I started hearing about mineral make up and decided to check it out. Read about EDM on a Finnish discussion page and checked them out and had to order samples at that moment. I got my latest EDM order today and am really sad because I can't try the products out since my face has had some kind of weird allergic reaction to something unknown and been very sensitive and irritated for three days now :( Hope it goes away soon so I can try out the new blushes and eye shadows I got.My favourite blush so far is Natural. I use it as an eye shadow and all over face colour as well. Another favourite is Cookie Sheet but they have sadly discountined it now. Haven't tried Apple yet, I thought it might be too warm for my skin, but perhaps I will try it at some point :)
Everyone needs a little Apple in their life!! I'm so glad you got to try it!!I've been using Everyday Minerals for over a year and it took me forever to get Apple....I'm not a matte person, the shinier the better! The company itself is so wonderful first, they're Texas based!, they listen to their customers, they're green, and they're vegan, cant get any better than that!! I finally caved when a sample 4 blush kit came out and Apple was included. I love it so much, I just purchased the pressed powder version that came out on the 15th, I cant wait to get it, since it's in a compact and transportable!
ohhhh that is so cool you looked at everyday minerals !!! LOL about EDM!hahaha. Yes maybe I m A LITTLE obsessed with EDM, alllways on their forum and checking in with the ladies :) I've not got apple actually, but I have some other blushes I love love love such as New Car Smell and Snuggle. So nice. However my fave is Vikis Radient Creation, it is such a natural glow to my skin. How suiting that this post is the last post I need for my 250 landmark :) Since EDM is my fave makeup company at the mo. I also reallly recommend their Kabuki brushes sooooo soft!
makeup makeup makeup!!!!!!!
that eyeshadow is awesome both my sister and i love it
Another EDMer here! haha! Apple was my first full sized blush! I got it over 2 years ago and still have 3/4 of it left! This stuff lasts forever! I've got several more EDM blushes now, but Apple is still top of my list!
I love edm because their products are great! they are affordable, they offer a huge range of colours, they care about their customers and of course they have lovely lovely ladies on their forum!!!!I really cant stand the wait though when i order from them (and the worry of customs charges-also my last package never showed, i was refunded but it was still pretty disappointing at the time!) I am trying to find a uk brand that is as good-the best foundation i have tried is avon minerals but they dont offer many colours and their brushes dont compare to edm...............I love edm i so wish they would open a uk distribution centre! and i keep meaning to order a sample of apple because i hear great things about it but it looks really peach on the site and i am not into peach but i guess i am going to have to try it after the stir it has caused here!! x
why don't you ask an American on the EDM website to accept a package for you and then forward it on? I did that for Lanz with an ELF order, and she and a couple of others just paid me for the postage to Australia.
Everything went very smoothly with our little trasaction. Thanks taco king for helping out some desperate aussies trying to get a handle on some ELF haha :)
I wanna try this!!!
For those of you who say it is to pigmented, try using a Foptic brush, I have an edm one but they don't sell it anymore, I'm sure u can find one elsewhere. It's great for applying pigmented blushes, I can use ones like new mum, b&b, photo album... Etc...
There are just so many reasons for me to love EDM! Great products, great quality and absolutely great prices. Also they are always coming up with new colors and products, but my top reason for loving EDM is their brushes! They are the softest ever!
My beauty blog: http://igknowidea.blogspot.com <br> My crafting blog: http://craftyandallthat.blogspot.com
I've tried a sample of their foundations and I can see why tons of ladies love it. The formula is amazing! I now I really want to try the blushes!
EDM products are fantastic for everyday use! I love them, they feel amazing on and seem to work amazingly well on my oily skin.I haven't tried the Apple blush yet, the only one I have is Nick Nack, which I actually love. And it's the sample size so it's perfect for travel! The only thing I'm sad about is the fact that they're not good for photographic/professional use. But then again, no mineral makeup is particularly good for that! :P
ohh i love this brand !!!and i love the sample who they send to make a good choice for your color of skin !!! and of course the price !!!
I love this brand and was introduced to it a few weeks ago while reading a review on this site. When I went to order them (on my very limited budget) OMG! they were cheap. So much more than Bare Minerals and other more advertised brands. I got the trial sizes, which are going to last for a long time, in fair and medium, all for $5 each. To me that is a steal! I've had trouble trying to wear minerals because my skin is oily but not with EDM. Its full coverage but doesn't look fake and doesn't need a lot of reapplying all day. I'm in love and now that I've raved on the foundation, I'm going to check out the blush and other goodies.
